I have been trying to figure this out since I got one done in high school... in 1992. Mine had all sorts of twists, loops & beads. Oh! And a beautiful antique brass bell on the end. I wore it for so long it turned into a deadlock at the top & I had to cut ot out.
That was my very long way of saying "Thank you!"
I did this for my 6 yo and her friend when they had a sleepover. Tons of fun and not too stressful!

I did this with light link and dark pink
It was rlly easy but i didn’t make the strings long enough so theres a small section of the braid showing
I did it behind my ear on a small section of hair
Its cute but i might have to redo it

It was kind of easy but I cut the string too small and I had to start over so I just didn’t try again and I’ll try again probably tomorrow because it’s really late at night

i usually recommend 1-3 weeks!

@@baez111 when I had mine done, years & years ago, they burned them off with a lighter. But she had lots of practice keeping them in, so there wasn't a lot there.
This video was a giant waste of my time. I did it twice and didn’t have enough string even though the first time I did double the length of my hair and the second time I added even more
So sad... for u, it worked amazing for me😅
