    If anyone is wondering how do you wash your hair with a wrap i can help. Just wash its as you normally would and when your done just blow dry the wrap

    Just incase you did not know: The flat knot is called a square knot, the spiral is a half square knot. They are macreme knots. If you google macreme you will learn many more knots used for years to make wall hangings & plant hangers. Great job! Awesome vid, keep up the great work & stay safe.

    I am going to give you an idea that we used to do when we where in hi school at 🇵🇷 Puert Rico 🇵🇷 lol this was very in back then, mind you I am 36 yrs old. Instead of wrapping it in to the hair and not cause dammed to it we started the wrapping up wit tinny robber band so loke that we could put in and take off when ever we want and we cud change it to a different ones... I have exactly 20 yrs I donydo them lol I should star over again 🥰😍

      Sarah Foley well thank ya sweetie! This was my way of celebrating turning 40 soon! I had a photographer friend to do them while we were on vacation a few weeks ago in Florida. By the time I get to go back to the beach I may not look like this and be able to do a mermaid session lol..

      LaCretia Weber it's only half of a square knot. You have to do one from the other side to complete it.

      I would use simple embroidery string. That's what I've seen.

      Nothing synthetic, it'll slip, cotton's best

    When you start, do you bend down the loose ends so that they're tugged under the wrapping, you wrap over them..?

      Try and hold it at a right angle to keep the hair from showing, then wrap it

      sakshi nagar embroidery floss. You can find it in the sewing/craft section of most stores.

      You can cut it off or undo the knots. It may take a couple of days to undo it, but a half hair wrap doesn't look awful.

      You snip the bottom knot and unravel it by hand or use a seam ripper, but it's best to unravel it as to not tear your hair out

      I think you just pull a piece of hair through the loop, pull it up to your scalp and take some more hair and braid it

      Don't use synthetic fibers, it'll slip off your hair, use cotton or wool thread, it catches sorta and stays on

    Yeah. I did a bunch in my hair then thought, hey I could have just made a braid and looped the wrap onto the top of my braid and not had the trouble of unwrapping :( sad day lol

    I put glue in my hair to get the wrap to stay longer and when I don't like it anymore I just cut it off
