This looks yummy! Think I’ll try it for dinner tonight instead of the sausage & peppers I was going to make. Thank you for posting it. 😊

Great! Let us know how it turns out ... although the sausage and peppers sounds delicious too.

MoneySmartFamily I will. Thank you. Quick question: Did you make the pie crust from scratch? Can I use a prepared crust? And if so, should I reduce the cooking time?

Lee, you can certainly use a prepared pie crust, and no you don't need to adjust the cooking time. Just check the pie 20 minutes before the end of cooking time and if the crust is too brown, cover it with foil.

Oh, that looks so good! I was hoping you would cut into it and try some so I could drool along with the video!! Was the sausage pre-cooked? How and for how long?

sausage was browned in the frying pan. We should have cut into it. we usually let it cool for about 20 minutes to set up. Guess we got so anxious to eat we forgot to video it.

You two are just as cute as you can be. Aside from the great recipes and money-saving tips, I love that you two really seem to like each other and enjoy doing things together. That's quite a rarity these days. Thanks for the video, I'm looking forward to trying the recipe.

Recipe looks yummy - looking forward to trying it. And just another comment ... it was difficult to hear you above the music .. it was a little loud and a little fast-paced (in my opinion - which may not be the popular opinion) but I found it quite distracting ... (but I watched till the end, lol - the recipe won out!)

I am disappointed you didn't show the inside of the pie after it was fully cooked. The recipe looked fantastic, but now I wonder if I should try it without knowing what I'm fully getting into...😞...

Here's the recipe on our website, www.moneysmartfamily.com/italian-sausage-spinach-pie-delicious, there are more pictures there. It smelled so good cooking and we were so hungry, we forgot the individual slice pictures. Thanks for pointing that out! We will add some the next time we make it!
