I'm out on a walk on a beach trail listening to these guys. That's when I tend to listen to this stuff. It's really good to hear A couple of guitar experts just chat. Apparently I feel like I'm part of the conversation. Even though this channel probably results in getting some guitar sales, I think that's their number. One mission. Mission accomplished.
Well Mark said he watches all the Casino Videos. So, Gibson will definitely be (tempted) going to Namm.
I sure hope Paul will be there explaining how they tested the wing shaped plastic tuner button's effect on tone.
I worked in a Fortune 500 and we had millions of Presidents, VPs and regional managers. And thousands of employees.
Sounds great, Cali is fun and slot to do. It would be a good trip. I can see Gibson and PRS going because of FOMO
Anyone else thought the strat in the thumbnail might be a john frusciante signature strat? That and a rivers cuomo strat, roy buchanon nancy 53' tele and jimmy page# 2 signature would be heaven
I wonder if NAMM cut their prices to get the big boys back, but I really wonder whats the game plan moving forward. NAMM seems like every year it becomes more focused on end users and customers rather than B2B, so I wonder if these guys are coming back in order to market direct to consumers.

I think that UA-cam has taken over from the large guitar shows.
I have done the shows and they are hard work, some won't allow you
even close to their products, only the chosen few are allowed to play them.
These days i wait for the online reviews, try to sort out all the hype then
attempt to try before i buy, but the dealers are now miles away.
Time to be happy with what i have, bought before the prices went crazy.

Music and the people who play it communicate primarily though auditory and tactile modalities. If an insturment company is cold and creates impersonal barriers they'll find themselves without a story that keeps their customers engaged.

What I want to know is… is this a sign that guitar prices will go down due to a larger inventory and lower demand post-covid? Should I hold back buying a les paul custom shop or fender custom shop until next year?
