Was "May 9" planned as Game Changer? Accident or Planned Strategy? How long its impact will last?

- "May 9" has been described as Pakistan's 9/11 and is being used by PDM as a Game Changer to achieve all its political goals, to declare PTI as terrorist and to gain legitimacy for itself and its supporters. But was "May 9" just a an accident triggered by overzealous PTI worker and rank and file or it was planned script by PDM Govt to achieve whatever it needed? This Question is central to make sense of what is happening in Pakistan.
And this question will reverberate in Pakistan history and politics for a long time. Ultimately scholars on Pakistan will have to address this issue. Investigative reporters need to help them!

I was once abducted by rangers on a random “snap check,” for asking “Why am I being stopped?” - After asking that, i was taken to some unknown place, handcuffed, masked etc. Fortunately, they didn’t physically hurt me at all. Just kept asking me if I was a terrorist all night… even though my grandfather, uncles have fought for Pakistan as colonels and captains.
The event was so disturbing it’s almost laughable and I am speaking about the year 2009. I live in the US now.

There are many flaws in IK but I firmly believe that he's an honest man and is trying to the best of his ability to make Pakistan a success, which I doubt anyone can, and take this country in the right direction. I myself was anti IK till prior to the 2018 elections and took him as pro-Taliban but his subsequent actions helped change my thinking and made me pro-IK.

Moeed used to be a wonderful journalist up until the recent past. He, however, chose to lean towards IK, which is very painful for me, but this is his prerogative. Analyzing the facts so brilliantly and then concluding it in favor of IK, is not what he would do in the past. In the current scenario the situation started developing when our Forces were called Mir Jaffer, Mir Sadiq and even Janver. Many officers and men were boiling for a revenge against IK. Their anger in my opinion was well justified. IK never retracted those statements. Forces got an opportunity to take take that revenge. So was it written, so let it be done.

The prevailing conditions established over the past 70 years have been so dire that the actions of those in power have been met with skepticism. Furthermore, it is evident that any politician aligning themselves with the ruling establishment has been provided ample opportunities and comfortable positions as Members of the National Assembly (MNA). A critical examination of our elected officials reveals a lack of credibility and competence necessary to win an election. The electoral process has been thoroughly manipulated.

I know him ever since he started raising funds for Shaukat Khanum and for his party here in the United States in the 90s. Myself and my friends were very fond of him and trusted him very much. But his party got some traction only in 2011. 2013 he partially won the election. Then he reiterated his promise that he would never lie to Awam. But ever since he uttered those words he has been lying to us. He is not honest to any one. He did not do any thing he promised, he has no agenda. Now He wants to be friends with Gen Asim Munir only to use him like he used Gen. Bajwa. He has no plans to Reform the Armed Forces. He has no plans to bring any decency and honesty in our politics. He is ready to use any illegal means he can. The guy is a hypocrite. 90 days time for Punjab election was more important to him than the 90 days for Iddat for Bushra Begum as per Quran and Hadith. Lied about the dates of both marriages. He had to marry Reham Twice and he also married Bushra Begum twice. He has no integrity, whatsoever. I can throw a plethora of bad adjectives if I start to describe his qualities as we know him now. Poor judgement, Buzdar, the death of merit.

In the description of this vlog you have claimed that the incedance of 9th May is planned by the PDM govt.. While on the basis of current hard language against IK and PTI and other evidences that it's army establishment who had planned it
He sees them as one single regime, few generals and PDM politicians, he is not only saying but also writing in his tweets

Thanks for these interesting perspectives. However I believe that one of the biggest motivating factors of what the military is currently doing, is to protect its own corporate business interest and of course its power. The situation is of course very complex in Pakistan given all the factors which have brought us to this stage, nevertheless the military does ultimately see itself as fighting the concept of a empowered population.

Dr Pirzada, you need to talk about the controlled demolition of Pakistan state. There are reports that around 9th may there were back channel talks going on. The sooner things are about to get settled someone pulls strings and make things dramatic. It’s all about Ukraine/Russia war and growing influence of China.
