Joe having watched the highlights,I did think that Burnley were a little bit fortunate in not conceding a goal,but a positive for Burnley did play better and had another clean sheet. Burnley did have injuries after the national break. UTC👏👍⚽️❤️
The important thing to take away, in my opinion, is that we're back to actually creating decent chances again. In recent games, our lack of creativity up front has been alarming, so our recent productivity in the final third is something to celebrate.
Hi Joe, today is the first time we haven’t played 3 defensive midfielders mate. Drop Cullen or Brownhill and put Lyle in that team we played today in front of Flemming then you have your formation. We only need Cullen holding. All the best.
I don’t see Brownhill as a defensive mid, he’s more advanced, just sometimes bred asked to play there but it’s not his position mate. But yeah when Lyle is back, be a while yet, Scott has a decision to make
It was a mistake for our first goal but that's football, right? We make mistakes to gift goals and works the other way. We created the opportunity for the mistake by putting a dangerous ball over the top. Deserved winners!
This afternoon match is a bit awkward. Sunderland dropping points would be great for Burnley obviously but Hull gaining momemtum ahead of Wednesday would be bad. Heres to a 1-1 draw with Hull getting a heap of yellow and red card suspensions 🍻
