Excellently explained. Clear and concise. You have a great command of English! Well done

Thank you very much. You are always helpful. I'm very interested but i don't know why. I just like the idea of learning another language. Something different. Some say Russian language is hard so i challenge myself to do so. I treat myself this way as long as i have known in things i get curious of. It's an uncontrollable appetite. If i had time - i'd watch your channel all day...tkx.

Very clear explanation! Thanks Anna!
Пожалуйста, я рада!
Really appreciate your help. I married into a Russian family and my wife doesn't help me learn Russian, but my mother-in-law does not speak English and also lives in Minneapolis. My Russian is getting better slowly. I was born in Manhattan, so I like it that you are in NYC now. What borough?
Jason, you are not alone :) A lot of my students have a similar situation. But honestly, I think that you wife is right: teaching one's spouse is not the best idea, really. It may sound like fun in the beginning but it get annoying really quickly :)
As for the borough, I live in Manhattan.
Very, very helpful!
Спасибо, я очень рада!
Anna Cher, a aula foi muito boa.
Marcio Maciel thank you!
Awesome
Such a great video. Thank you for subtitles.🙇
Спасибо, что смотрите!
it's enlightening 👍
Прекрасно. У меня было ещё много сомнений об этой теме
Я рада, что смогла помочь!
Спасибо большое!
Best explanation on this topic, Anna. I think I won't go wrong anymore! Finally understood. Could I say "Наконец, у меня получилось!"? Спасибо.
Misael, спасибо, я рада, что вам было понятно! I'd say "Наконец-то я понял".
So the expression (У меня получилось) should be used in another context... But it means "I've got it", "I did it", "I made it", "I managed", right? Thank you very much.@@AnnaCherRussianfromtheHeart
@@misaelgalindo2402 "У меня получилось' is "I managed to do something", so it has to be some action. "Вчера у меня наконец-то получилось решить эту задачу/пробежать 5 километров', etc. But it doesn't mean "I've got it' in the sense 'I understood it'. You could say 'У меня получилось понять' but honestly I wouldn't :)
Anna Cher: Russian from the Heart OK, Anna, I think that now I understood, I really thank you very much. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
🤯 brains burning but we're gonna learn this lol
Super spacibo
Great lesson on these confusing verbs, Anna. Could you please tell me something about the verb обучать/обучить? Thank you very much!
Lutch, thank you for the question. "Обучать/обучить" is a more formal word that means to train/teach/educate somebody. Например, "обучать пилотов" или "В школе детей обучают основам математики". The correlative noun is 'обучение' that means 'training, schooling'.
Ваше объяснение очень интересное, Анна. Нам иностранцам очень трудно воспринимать такие оттенки значения. Я вас искренне благодарю!
Very helpful -- thank you!
Спасибо вам!
The explanation is likely to confuse students. According to a number of online Russian dictionaries, it is fine to say: "я учусь на 4 курсе в московком государственном тех..." Sure, one way to say it is учиться because of где, but it is not mandatory. Grammar is defined by patterns, not absolute rules.
Я изучаю русский язык. Хотя он похожий на полский, но использование 'изучать' или 'учить' отличается от полского. Благодаря вашей помощи я пойму это лучше.
Да, несомненно, наши языки похожи, но не во всём. Я рада, что моё видео вам поможет :)
Certainly someone has already complimented you on the flowers next to your chair. Nevertheless I have to mention them as well as a splendid idea to level up your videos and give them a tasteful and gorgeous background.
No one has, actually, so thank you very much for noticing :) Мне очень приятно!
These verbs are really confusing: учить, научить, изучать, выучить .. I like explaining this topic to my students too 👍🙂
❤
How would you say "he taught me these words"?
Я бы сказала "Он научил меня этим словам"
I wish I was rich, lived in New York and could take weekly lessons from you! Что мне делать?
Where is button 😀
400 лет назад, мои учителя русского языка не очень хорошо объясняли лексические нюансы русских слов в английском языке. Ваша способность объяснять русские слова на английском отличает вас от них.
Большое спасибо за комплимент!
Priveat Anna.
Thank you so much for explaining why you're using imperfective or perfective. Its something I constantly think about and get wrong. Its really helpful to have someone explain their reasoning.
Jennifer Check Hello, if you are interested in detailed explanations and examples of meanings and how to choose in general between imperfective and perfective Russian verbs, have a look at Olga Jerrell’s videos on Russian verbal aspect: “Beginning Russian: Verbal Aspect in Contrast. Part 1: Imperfective Present vs. Perfective Past
Jennifer, don't feel bad, this topic is really confusing. I will make a video about it soon.
Чавооооооооооо
How come I did not hear about you before, so much time waisted. Thank you.
This explained so much. Thanks!
