Really great review, this game looks like it would be a lot of fun
Thanks for checking out the review
I'm gearing up to start my first campaign. Going to play solo, two handed. did you ever use the journal they provided? There is so many sheet and so much, it's a bit intimidating but I'm still equally excited to jump in.
That's awesome. Yeah, I used the journal to write all my notes in during the campaign. Definitely a bit intimidating at the start for sure but it gets easier as you go. Which characters did you choose to play as?
@ I’m just at the “Start here” up to two hours so that’s about what I’ll can get in either today or tomorrow. I’ve made my mind up my mind I’ll run with the candle maker and either Gerdwyn or the cool mask character.
Great review! What next game will you play ? :)
Thanks for watching! I'm currently playing through Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice, I'm about half way through it
@GamingAlchemyBoardGames nice :) really looking forward for next review.
Excellent review! How does it compare to The Fall of Avalon though? Is it for someone who owns the first?
Hey, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. I haven't actually played the first one, this was my first experience with the Tainted Grail universe as I backed it on Gamefound when it was being crowdfunded. From the research I did, it sounds like they fixed a few things from the first game that people complained about, but it sounded like the first Tainted Grail was really good and well received also. I kinda want to play through that one now too. You don't need to have played the first one to understand what's going on in this one, they are completely standalone games. Hope that helps!
@@GamingAlchemyBoardGames Thank you for your input! I own the first one with all available campaigns and have loved it since day one. My main concern is whether KOR would enhance the original experience or if it’s essentially the same game with a fresh coat of paint and a different timeline/story.
