It would be interesting to see the various stats after the game, like resources lost by the AI compared to your own, etc.

It wasn’t that long ago that a pro player said that it would be impossible to beat 7 cheater AI with even a specific race selected. Now here we are. Congrats my guy. This is truly impressive. 🎉

@@jebquinnrl9491 shield batteries for protoss, liberators and lurkers for other races. Somehow lotv made it easier to camp but only against the AI lol

If there ever was THE meatgrinder, this was was it... I wonder about the kill count on the Disruptors, must surely have been well over 100 on each :D
Once I was watching some kind of speed run vs multiple AI with strategy explanation. Don't remember much actually, but one thing was that they didn't accept surrender of opponents unless all surrendered. Point of doing this was that by accepting surrender, the remaining resources are splited among rest of opponents which helps them a little.
I never got to that point so didn't know what to do. I guess I made my game even slightly harder.

Disruptor shots galore, PvP blink disruptor will never as satisfying xD
The SC2 AI was programmed before the introduction of disruptors (and liberators) which is why it sucks so badly against them

I was thinking of some possible strategies to improve this win, one thing could be splitting your army between positions so they don't move as a one single group all the time, you could also make use of the acceleration effect more often to either extract resources or produce units. Developing Air units earlier would have definitely helped, also more offensive movements especially for crystals and gas zones so you disrupt your enemy economy faster. GG, I saw this play over and over to improve my own tactics. Thanks for sharing

Btw I saw uthrumal use a mothership for cloaking cause the ai is dumb. This could make the early game easy enough to transition toward carriers faster if you prioritize the damage upgrades. Immortals in the back for ultras maybe too
When I was rewatching the video I figured a mothership would be useful indeed. It's 8 supply though for just cloaking.

I think eventually it would be an ok decision to get to the mothership. However I'd be afraid the AI would target fire it and it might be too expensive to keep alive. Luckily I did not need it :D

Why does the AI not build Tanks and siege?
The AI never does certain things, like they don’t drop very well.
Nice win. Here I am trying to work out how to play more than 1 A.I. Unfortunately elite is highest level AI the server will give me.
Surprised no Templar were used. I also thought a Collosus or two might have been in the army comp. Mana knows better than me though, congrats!

Templars need energy and don't do instant damage, would only help vs the corruptors I suppose. Vs the ground army disruptors are far more reliable than colossus.

@@baloog8 Honestly I figured it was over 5000. He must have killed over 20 full or over full supply armies, due to combined efforts from the AI.

It seems like you had everything stacked in your favor with the custom map… 4 bases with only one small ramp as a perfect choke point. Mineral walls cutting off half of the opponents..
Your strategy took advantage of the single ramp for 4 bases with the disrupters and no other map in the pool could provide this.
It was basically a 1v6 while the other 6 AI were on a no rush timer. And couple that with the perfect 4 base economy with a single choke point and I don’t think is a fair challenge to claim a record on. Just my opinion.
I see what you mean, but this is literally the only map available to play 1vs12. I didn't choose the map to my liking.
This is the same thing as broodwar, except that instead of disruptors, you had reavers.

i love how people thinks this is a hard challenge. On this map each bot can exp once instead of having 3-4-5- base. you just play turtle and defend until they running out of minerals. than you attack. more easy if you just play terran. shitting out siege tanks / vikings. btw in starcraft you can just siege a liberator on the bot mineral lines. it doesn't know how to deal with it with ground units. it makes this "challenge" 75% more easy
why ai wouldnt do speed air rush?

when uthermal did the 1v7 the entire map was mined out by 25 minutes, and some of the enemies were struggling to make units even then, i think having 13 "players" on a map designed for 8 gave some of them bad economy and maybe even made it slightly easier, since you didnt show the score screen we cant compare

Random with infinite attempts it is not so random as it will be ultimately optimized to the winning configuration via trial and error. You only need to win once they have to win every time :)=
