@@manipreferchicken4083 it’s called formant shifting, it basically makes things sound more demon-like without changing the key of the song, or in this case, make the vocals sound more natural when pitched down to match the key of a song. Since c# is a step and a half, or 3 semitones, lower than e, you lower the vocals by 3 semitones, and formant shift the vocals up 3 semitones.
I can honestly see them doing playing in this tuning years down the road once they are like in there 70s but will see it would be cool depends on how james vocals are then
why are there hi-hats in the intro? whats with the kick being panned so far to the left? whats with the snare being panned so far to the right? really odd choices
Nice tone, but I think the Bass is too loud, and I didn't care for the underlying pitch-shifted vocals. You should have made all the drums audible in both ears. It doesn't sound very good when the snare is popping in one ear, and the bass drum is in the other. Other than that, it sounded pretty good.
Once there was Metallica, and this man said, “LET THERE BE BASS!!”.
and this man heard what he had made, and it was very good
C# is such an underrated tuning
Drop C# is my favorite tuning, C# standard is ok for me
@@christiangutierrez1340 They're equal to me, both have their ups and downs
E Standart 🤘🤘
@@derduuude4695 There's a reason it's standard
@@pwincessiris 😂😂
Now this is heavy. I’m in love.
The cymbal in the intro is a no from me though
Same
same here
Same
yeah it takes the vibe away
The blackened intro tuned down always gives me chills
4:07 gives me chills every time
ong bro
how do you make the vocals sound natural???!
C# is a harmony of E
@@PHILLY214 No i mean not make it sound like a demon when shifting down
@@manipreferchicken4083 he answered your question

@@manipreferchicken4083 you can even use formant shifting to make vocals sound higher, also without changing the key of the song.
Sounds like Hetfield went through puberty for the tenth time. 😂 Jokes aside, this is a masterpiece.
the intro is what i imagine walking into heaven feels like
You just walk in and hear the chorus playing
nah, its all cemetary gates solo, the entire choir has a guitar, they all play it.
If Testament wrote Blackened
I believe this takes some time to make, but I want more, sounds amazing.
It does take, i tried to do Sad But True tuned to E, and it's kinda confusing make James' not sound like a child
When I previously listened to the D and C versions of the same song, I somehow knew this one would sound better!
c# is a harmony of e
@@canavarnoktacomso is c
C# is the best tuning
I’ve heard heaps of these remixes in different tunings and this one is the best.
BASS!!!
Holy shit dude. That sounds fucking awesome!!
this version sounds like it would be played in a Halo game for some reason
Nice work!!!!
At this pitch, it makes everything in this song groovy asf
this sounds godly
Actually being able to bear the bass is so good fr
Not even gonna lie, the hi hat in the intro really ties the place together.
The perfect amount of high for this.👽💨
This is done so well, I love it!

Now you gotta do this to the new song "You Must Burn!"
why are there hi-hats in the intro? whats with the kick being panned so far to the left? whats with the snare being panned so far to the right? really odd choices
Post more dude, you are awesome
great work, this sounds amazing!
Love the video fx lol. Seriously though, sounds amazing.
This sounds incredible
this is insanely good
the intro and the solo sounds more beautiful and epic than the original
The whole AJAF album in Db 🙏
You’re a genius my friend
Fantastic!

Let me guess, just your two cents?
@@stevenbosley7293 lmao that guy is in every fucking remix video
The bass sounds great what are you on about
@@fullmetaljakey the snare is only in right ear. Doesn't sound balanced.

I can here the bass 😱
esto es la HOSTIA DIVINA
This downtuned remaster is beast mode activated
This is honestly perfect. You did amazing work on the vocals as well, i expected them to sound like sh*t.
That intro
You've learnt the language now hear the music
That is fkin heavy man 👌
Play this at (custom) 1.15 speed and you have Metallica live version
Please do have some in the venue sounds
the hat at the beggining was a mistake
Sick
How did you make the down-tuned vocals not sound like Andre The Giant?
Can you do symphony of destruction?
Pantera Tuning
0.5 speed is fucked up everything
Now I wanna hear it in C++
pls do one
Makes Metallica sound like an Anthrax Album from the 80s.
Now do blackened in java
D isn’t low enough, and C is too low. C# is jussssst right for Blackened.
- some guy’s (me) opinion.
St.Anger verse
Shoulda dropped the drums down too
how lower can the drums go?
Not much until you can't hear the bass drum anymore trust me I've heard it lowered in headphones BTW the bass drum sounds great on this album
PLEASE REMAKE WITHOUT THE CYMBAL
imo, it woulda been better If vocals weren't tuned
It would be off key
Who is the singer? Hahaha
I guess Satan himself sang the song
Almost every metallica song sounds so thicc in c#. JAMES PLEASE STOP TRYING TO SING HIGH NOTES YOU ARE NOT YOUNG ANYMORE
As a bassist, too much bass bruh (on the intro)
