I started with your sun salutations for beginners. Now I can do the 6 rounds. I'm amazed at how much better I feel in the morning. I have more energy, I'm more awake, and I get less stiff throughout the day. I'm even losing weight! I'm gonna work up to being able to do some of your other videos. Thank you! I'm not sure I've got the breathing correct though.

I wish there was away to have this video in slow motion. I need to see where and what the foot, the toes, the arms, are doing as she transitions in and out of positions. May be a slower pace version for us beginners. Yes , I did watch the step by step one too. It's the flow/fluidity that I am trying to copy. Thank you for the video.

I had trouble at first, too, Jennifer. I suggest just watching it all the way thru several times. Pause/rewind do the parts that are difficult for you with her. Namaste Shobha, We are glad to hear that you appreciate the guidance on Practicing Surya Namaskar! If you choose to eat or drink before practicing Surya Namaskar, it's generally recommended to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour before starting your practice. This allows your body to digest the food and prevents any discomfort during your practice. However, this timing can vary depending on the individual and how their body responds to food and drink. Usually Surya Namaskar is practiced before/ at sunrise, empty stomach, with just lukewarm water. Ultimately, it's important to listen to your body and do what feels right for you. If you find that eating or drinking before your practice enhances your energy levels and performance, then go ahead and do so with a suitable gap. And always remember to stay hydrated throughout the day, regardless of when you practice Surya Namaskar. Hari Om

But maybe I could learn the Sun Salutation mantras while those first 21 days with your other video, so when I do the 12 rounds we can chant together. Or, maybe say it together in my mind. Do you recommend chanting while doing the Suryia Namaskar? After building a strong practice of course, and breath strength in the body.
