The MA Bronze have a good bottom end but their high frequencies are a bit course. The 12.2's are much more balanced. These types of videos are very helpful, thanks.
With the 12.2, the elements exist in more layered space creating a slightly laid back effect. The Bronze 100 is forward and in your face, thus feelilng more dynamic. The Wharfedale is a winner for vocals and acoustic instruments, the Bronze if you want to headbang or with tracks that aren't well mastered.

This video is perfect since I’m battling between these two for my first Setup. I’m more of a hip hop/rnb/pop/jazz/dance/alternative person and the bottoms on the bronze 100s are sounding undeniable. Only thing is the price went up from $595 to $725 and I can’t find any comparison video to the bronze 50s like this.
I own the Wharfedale Diamond Range and they haven't let me down. A pair of12,3 and.12.1 bookshelf plus Subwoofer SVS 1000,SB pro.
My room cant handle big speaker with big boomy bass. But you need a subwoofer for the 12.2? Hmmy living room has. Ospace for it😢
Still the 12.2's for me. Gee. Just to add, there is a definite separation difference between the two . The 12.2's make the vocals centre in my headphones, where as the 100's spatialize it to the ends on some tracks. I hope this makes sense to someone, it does to me. Gee.
У Бронз 100 ровнее АЧХ и ФЧХ поэтому звук мягче, ни один инструмент не выделяется ,не окрашивается. У 12.2. явный горб на 7 -9 кГц и это многим нравится,но это не есть хорошо, а также пластмассовый звук.

более открытое звучание, более открытая стереопанорама.
высокие частоты на любителя, именно что кому больше нравится.

I may not come here anymore, or, if I do, I may not comment, and I'll just keep my conclusions to myself, because I don't want to damage the success of this person who works very hard and spends a LOT of his own money, to bring us this much needed and appreciated service, since, in this day and age, in many places, there's unfortunately nowhere to go hear audio gear for yourself

@@thomasward00 I just don't want to damage this channel, and prevent it from growing and gaining more followers and more views, and becoming more successful, or discourage E Project from posting new videos, because he doesn't want to see another war of words erupt.
I just don't like people who spew out BS and their subjective opinions as fact, and when I counter with actual facts from real industry experts, they just counter with more vague word salad BS, instead of factual evidence from experts that dispute what I say, which only proves my point that there isn't any. And, they even contradict themselves, and turn on a dime, if it supports their personal agenda, and subjective opinions masquerading as objectivity.
But, I don't even care about that either, unless some here, looking for sugesstions on what to spend their hard earned money on, fall for his propaganda instead of trusting their own ears.
So, everyone out there shouldn't care what I say, what he says, what you say, or what anyone else says. They should trust their own ears.
Finally, we are losing the fact that this is really about music, not gear. Gear is just a means to an end. Specs, measurements, and lab tests don't really matter at all. The only thing that matters is getting the gear that gives you the most enjoyment and the greatest emotional connection to the music you love. The only thing that matters in this regard is having an amp capable of driving the speakers you have to the level you want to listen at, or trying to use an amp or receiver only rated for 8 ohms with a 4 ohm speaker. Other than that, all specs, measurements and lab tests are really irellevant.
So, the only things I care about are helping E Project grow his brand and this channel, gain more new followers, and give us more videos to enjoy, and for people to trust their ears more than anything else to find the gear that makes their favorite music the most fun for them to listen to.
Everything else doesn't matter! Music is what matters, so buy the gear that sounds best to you with your favorite music, no matter what ANYONE wlse says
@@DougMen1 Agree, these are 1st world problems for sure, my gf couldn't believe that I spent $800 dollars on an amp and that I want to spend about $1k on some Paradigm 200B. To her my office system AXA 25 and Cambridge SX50 is overkill.

Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 for me. I have not heard any Monitor Audio I liked.
Tem músicas que preferi as 12.2 e tem músicas que preferi as Bronze 100.
The Bronze's do well, untill the 12.2 roars it vocals and acoustics. Although perhaps not the best amp for the 12.2, they still and, imo, undeniable show how a 3D soundstage is done. You can shape the sound somewhat with an amp or gear, but you can't add the detail and focus the 12.2 is presenting here.
Listening to this through a pair of Diamond 10.1's hard to tell which is better tbh
Wharfedale sound is more body. Both are good. I like 12.2.

The 12.2's are so much more natural and balanced sounding, and their textural charicter is far more organic over the entire range This amp, clean and detailed as it is throws their balance off a bit, boosting their treble and leaning out their midrange slightly, but it's still the more natural of the two by blocks and blocks. For me this is not even close.
Opinion from Russia. I liked the Bronze, they are completely neutral, not tiring, and just good...

The 12.2 seems to have more highs than the Bronze, which should theoretically be the other way around, how can it be possible?

Les MA 100 bien que ayant une scène sonore bien plus large, pêchent par un son trop métalique et fatigant à l'écoute à la longue, les wharfedale 12.2 c'est l'inverse, scène sonore plus cerrée mais le son plus doux et moins fatigant pour les oreilles, donc je choisis les Wharfedale pour moi, sinon les MA 100 pour une écoute rock seraient pas mal...
The Arcam is so accurate that it really brings out the true nature of each speaker, resulting in the 12.2 having more controlled bass and less rolled off treble than with other lesser amps, but maybe a bit more forward mids than the MAs, and results in the Bronze being less bright on top, and less recessed in the midrange, reflecting the results from all respected and professional reviewers about them both. It also shows that the Arcam is better at controlling these speakers than some other amps, and is less affected by impedance and phase swings from the speakers than many other amps. Now we're about to hear outrage from some here because the results they hear with their own ears go against their ignorant biases and pre-conceived notions. This video reveals the true nature of all 3 products here, which agrees exactly with the opinions and results from all experienced and professional reviewers about all 3 of them, rather than some amateurs on UA-cam. Let the hot air and BS begin!
I could easily live with either but calling the Bronze 100 a bit better, but both are great. The MA gives the option of not having to run a Sub, it has good Bass.

I hope you find some speakers that you really love, and give you the most enjoyment when listening to your favorite music, because, at the end of the day, that's the only thing that matters. If you're in the US, there are a lot of speakers on sale right now at Crutchfield.
@@DougMen1 No problem, I'm currently running some Cambridge Minx XL bookshelves with the Arcam, but just ordered a Subwoofer. My question is smaller bookshelves with Sub VS larger bookshelves...
@@thomasward00 A larger bookshelf will give you more scale, with or without a sub, and when paired with a sub, will allow you to set the crossover point for the sub a bit lower than with a smaller bookshelf speaker, which will sound better, IMO. The Bronze 50s are on sale for $440 at Crutchfield right now, and the 100s are $540. There's also Elacs, the KEF Q150, and many others on sale right now. There's also the Paradigms there (but not on sale), and a new Deluxe version of the Polk S20, which, judging by the samples I've heard on UA-cam are better sounding than the plainjane S20. They are $399
Listen to the Alpha Audio demo with the SA10, and CXA61 again, and check out the comparison between the SA10 and Hegel D85 (or whatever) wich to me has the best qualities of both amps, and see if you can hear what the Arcam doesn't do as naturaly. It's there I tell ya!
Also for kicks I recommend the NAD C298 vs the Bryston B4♤♡◇☆whatever demo to hear what a bloody good and Bloody Freaken Awesome power amp sound like. Great demo songs on it too.

Это и называется натуральный звук, без преукрас. Скрипка в реальности может и играет с другого конца перехода, а не перед вами.
I opened 3 tabs to compare Bronze 100 / 12,2 and R200 at same time and I prefer Bronze 100 overall with Arcam SA 10
That's what I do too. I open multiple tabs to toggle quickly back and forth to compare different amps or speakers playing the same songs. Otherwise, your memory fails after a couple of minutes, because aural memory is the most fleeting of all

@@ramin3080 I like almost all the amps and speakers here, and I'd be thrilled to have almost any of them. Of course, I like some more than others, but my overall favorite so far is the Arcam with the Polk R200

To add my unwanted three cents, the Arcam SA10 is the cleanest, most defined sounding amplifier E Project has used yet. It is not the most tonaly accurate, and to me it' seems oddly inconsistant with different speakers.
Although, not be be a repetative bitch, it's been hard to judge that because I feel the flatscreen may be creating that perception.
I tend to agree. I think the reflections off the TV isn't doing any good. It's negating the positive affect of the sound absorption panels on the back wall, like putting a big pane of glass between your speakers. And, it seems to affect different speakers in different ways, depending on their dispersion characteristics. In this video, for instance, it seems to fill in the mids on the Bronzes, and brighten the top end on the Diamonds

In the MA there are no mid frequencies in some tracks, but on other tracks they sound better than the Wharfedale with the right amount of high frequencies (too emphasized in the wharfedale). MAs are better in vocals and acoustic music.

As irrelevant as a video is for judging loudspeakers for what its worth the MA sound far richer, more dynamic with far better bass extension, actual soundstaging dimensionality and less dryness across the upper mids which i personally dont like in any components. Normally in person i much prefer the Wharfedale signature sound over the MA sound. Just goes to show how unreliable a youtube video is

I originally got the Diamond 12.2 and it was a box of distortion and harmonics , awful speaker. I returned the 12.2 and got the EVO 4.1 and what a difference. The EVO 4.1 is light years ahead , the sound is crystal clear , the amount of clarity and details you hear are immense, the base is super deep and tight, much better than Diamond 12.2. And the looks are to die for.
Imagine copy+pasting this statement on every 12.2 video. You REALLY want to your voice to be heard.
