i love love your tonea dn normally never like bridge clean unless in twangy surf rock. are those mini humbuckers? please run down gear specs for me (detail on guitar especially pickups, amp, and strings)
+Christopher Holdorf Yes, minihumbuckers. They're called Lollar Firebird style pickups. Amp is a Tone King 20th Anniversary Imperial. Strings are Elixir 10s I believe.
Damn I picked one up for cheap and its shipping hopefully I don't hate it and sell it for Supermoon money. Even though I have to own one of those anyways lol this may make me need it sooner. I will have to see how I like it, heard very mixed reviews...
It's a good buy, toneprints are awesome I think it has limited headroom with the mix up. The reverbs are great for post rock stuff. I think I may have to do a video as well. I think it's pretty solid other than the headroom...
If I'm not mistaken there are two switches inside the pedal and one of them makes it go into a "wet" mode that is meant to go into parallel effects loops (not serial). The other switches from true bypass to a high quality buffer.
Exactly, this pedal is a very special texture reverb, you play only few notes and wait the reverb tails to ring out naturally. Its a background effect. It alters your playing.
@@ikesours6558 lol! I use this pedal in my band that plays sludgy grind/hardcore. It's actually a HUGE part of our sound! Best way to use this pedal with distortion: set the Mix around 50%, the Decay cranked, and Tone low. Then just stomp it on and off REAL quick! Like, it's only ON for a split second / a single beat... Your signal stays dry but the dark, low-freq, ambient swells, will finish trailing. Makes for some gruesome stuff
TC Electronics are not willing to help with this product if you have any issues. This is a bad pedal. Digital PCB,No spare parts , No guarantee on expensive repairs. I will never buy another TC Electronics product. They have apparently recently been bought over by behrringer which figures. I give you all fair warning, Do not buy any TC Electronics products.
Your demos deserve more recognition.
This is the best demo I've seen for this pedal. Nice job! You saved me $160.
Could't agree more. Can't think of a practical use for this one (and i love big reverb) unless you want to make everyone feel sick!
picturebox01 reverb V makes me feel like I'm dissipating. i hate it.
yeah i was about to buy the t2 because reverb 1 and 2 sound really nice. but i ended up getting the ehx cathedral... it was worth it 8D
If you're into ambient stuff, this is a beautiful tool, otherwise is more on the "weird noises" side of things. Just got mine yesterday.
Very nice dude
+Knobs Universal Grandmaster Knobs, oi.
if only there were more pedal demos like this...
At the end of hunting season and chopping woods I always take my guitar and dive into ambient forests of imagination.
Very good demo! I'm already making budgetary space for one of these now...
Nothing beats this pedal for space type stuff. Not a typical reverb pedal at all. But great for what it is
I find it funny how people dislike the Holy Grail's "flerb" setting, while loving this pedal which has LOTS of flerb variations.
maybe the flerb on that one was too singular - not enough flexibility, and this one has that so.,.,..,
Great Demo !
really useful. Thank you.
how much have you used the tone print feature? how is it? do they have any reverse reverbs?
Is it possible to modify the toneprint/presets for the T2 reverb to get a normal spring reverb type of setting?
I placed a spring setting in the Tone Print slot.
that fano guitar sounds really good, where they sell them at?!

good video but I got just one doubt does this pedal have SHIMMER preset?? I'll appreciate ur reply ..t-you bye =)
+elmero mero I came here to have this answer too. Do you have the answer now my friend ? I really want a reverb with a shimmer mode. Bye
+Ed Remacas at the current pint in time TC Doesn't make any reverbs with shimmer.
Kevin Nel t-you
Thanks Kevin. TC reverbs sounds very nice. But I wanted so hard for a shimmer, that I bought the Digitech Supernatural. I'm really happy with it.
How it sounds this pedal with overdrive ?

IcyBluesOfDeath how did you find it?
I got it at musicians friend for 99
I mean how do you find the pedal? is it of any use?

btw, can the mix go 100% wet ?

Bits of this sound like ryan adams blue hotel
It looks sounds great to me but demos and playing it are way different...
so.. is this a Hall of fame refinished or another thing
it's a totally different pedal! the Hall of Fame is a more usual reverb and the t2 is built to create even more atmospheric sounds!
The playing doesn’t really make sense with the reverb effects.
Exactly, this pedal is a very special texture reverb, you play only few notes and wait the reverb tails to ring out naturally. Its a background effect. It alters your playing.
Oh, snob. Play power chords and add fuzz if ya want.

2 years later and TC Electronic is still my favorite. Thanks for the heads up, though 👍
