Hello, I have TonePrint installed on my cell phone, but I can't find the ones that correspond to this pedal. I saw some inside the Plethora but I don't know if they are for the AlterEgo x 4 or if they are for this one. Can you tell me if I have to download them from somewhere in particular? Thanks
i revisited this pedal recently and now have sold my Timeline...i found i like this one better and its a hell of a lot cheaper. Got mine new for $179 instead of the $269 i paid earlier
Hello Erik, Alter Ego vs Flashback ? What's your preference between the two and why ? Thanks for another great demo ( even though this one is over 6 years old ) Cheers !
Brandon Pitre flashback seemed bland and generic to me, not much variety between the different types....fine if all you need is a basic digital delay and looper but that's about it. the alter ego v2 on the other hand, has some personality to the different echoes and is overall pretty vibe-y. good for the price, though not in the same league as the timeline or catalinbread's various echo emulators, which are in a class of their own. my 2 cents
I think the presets on Flashback sound very different from one to another, love the tape, slap back ,analog 2290 and modulated delays too, ping pong they're all great ,and from tone print more options,I have the flashback triple delay and it really is an amazing ambient delay machine, also have the Alter Ego X4,Strymon Timeline,DIG and Obscura Altered delay and they're all great sounding pedals suitable for different purposes.I don't want all my song to have a similar delay effect hence the many delay and reverb pedals I own.
I’m interested in long delays. The manual I found online says most settings have up to 7 seconds of delay available. Not the greatest demo as most examples were of the shorter and slap-back varieties but even when an example seemed to have a longer delay setting selected (5 0’clock?) the delay was still only around a second. What gives? Even 3 or 4 seconds would be great. Not interested in a “slap back only” echo pedal.
I havent spent enough time with this pedal...I ought to spend more time before I totally hate this...trying to find a reason not to sell it. It sounds beautiful at times but so bloody unusable for the genre I play (Metal, Rock)... Ill give it one more shot...
really i dont understand your point??? you mean that delay pedal its not for metal and some others from other brands are for metal?? wtf dude the matter is how that pedal sounding comparing to other delay pedals and btw there is not delay tone for metal
Helpful video! Basic, but shows off the sounds and delays of each setting. Thanks so much!
Band of Skulls. Nice.
Why didn't you turn up the 'time' knob on the reverse delay? Most important factor with reverse delays.

+DrGit - that's quite some endorsement.
Great demo! It looks nice and versatile vintage delay. Which pedal do you prefer between this pedal and Empress Tape Delay?

Hmm, Flashback. But I would stay away from TC all together at this point.
@@LivingroomGearDemos Thanks, why stay away from TC ? Interested in knowing your angle on that, have a great weekend
@@LivingroomGearDemos Thanks but why avoid TC- not reliable?
@@MOAB-UT Never got a reply either .... Hmmm .... Maybe Erik is no longer sponsored by them
@@Mr.Steve-O Yeah- probably.
Hey Eirik, Love your gear demos. Please could you do a rundown of your pedalboard. Thanks.
How do you feel this compares to the Flashback Delay?

I just love my alter ego
thanks for showing the switch function bro han
TC ist the only brand, who relabels the same pedal for the third time, and gets away with it.
Rafi Kirder ?
+Rafi Kirder - ha

Would you choose this over a carbon copy?
***** you prefer this over the x4 version?

dude nothing of those vintage effects had quater notes stuff.. fuck (
Are you really complaining about extra features? Cuz you don't have to use them :/
@@sonic7184 Exactly lol.
I only like the SP and ER delays on this...i'll stick with my Timeline
+DrGit timeline shit for the money, not worth every penny for sure
don't like it as much as the regular Flashback
This one is specialized in emulating vintage tape echoes and analog pedals
Explains a lot. I think my ears are used to two decennia of Boss DD-series delays :-)
