I flew in from Costa Rica for Houston night 1. It was EVERYTHANG. I was on the first row up on the right hand side. Great view. But I'm 49 and I wished the show was 45 minutes shorter. 😆
Had the very same experience in Vegas, we were blocked by like a tall structure, like a beam. Was literally hold back tears at the customer service desk, dressed as a renaissance painting- they re-sat us in the clouds, and while the crowd near us was trash, the show was incredible.
Dang, I wish we would have met. I had an empty seat next to me because whoever was supposed to be there, didn’t show. But I had a blast in my section with two other women 😭 I was in section 208, row 1.

Yes, I'm glad my seats were at the very back of the floor section of the stadium we went to. Any closer and you would not have been able to see the "big picture" of the show. So, I'm sure people enjoyed Club Renny and all that, but they couldn't see the WHOLENESS of the show like people who were farther away could.

Yall I was at DC Night 2 and I had NEVER seen rain like that in my life. Lightning and downpouring rain in and off again. Thank God Beyoncé came on at 9 pm and entered majestically with Dangerously in Love and sang her heart out the entire night! Plus we were the first city to win to the Mute challenge and the rain visuals looked amazing. One part of me was jealous of my friends that had the perfect weekend for Night 1, but we had all the drama and exciting story to tell so we won lolll
AYE DC NIGHT 2 crew!! Soakeddd but a time was HAD!! 🥹 (I remember when we FINALLY got to take our seats after being sent out to the lobby like twice and they accidentally put that “everyone move to the concourse” alert back up but it was false alarm😅 )
BIG hugs from a cousin in Denmark! Took a flight to see her for the first time in my life in Stockholm with my best friend and also ended behind said structure, but because we were standing and the crowd moved a lot we could actually see okay .. but the disrespect from that structure when the show really unfolded was heartbreaking. I'm so happy you got to see it from the sky!! 😭💖
Girl!!! I was off way to the side & couldn’t see much of her and nothing of the screen. I didn’t see a single visual until I went to see Renaissance in theaters. I was LIVID.
I never buy floor seats to anything bc I’m short and all my life I had to fight! 😅 I prefer the atmosphere seats so I can see over ppl. However, I did floor seats for Janet Jackson a few years ago and loved it bc we were front row!
I was at that same Houston show! Our seats were in the nosebleeds sooo far on side of the stage we couldn’t even see the screens😭 Watched the movie in complete shock bc I never saw like half of what was happening down on the stage
I was at the NYC Night 2 show. She got this GORGEOUS pink coat for “I’m That Girl”. Blue Ivy opened her jacket to the “New York” tshirt. I was up in heaven and it was BEAUTIFUL.
We got one of my friends tickets bc she too only listened to that album for a year but I couldn’t afford to get my own tickets. I drove her and just listened outside the stadium and it was lovely
Yeah I had gotten floor seats to her first OTR Tour and was like never again. There weren’t any structures, but I’m short af (5’1) and once everybody started standing on their chairs, I couldn’t see a thing. Nothing. Not one thing. I was livid. So, lesson learned! I don’t mind the nosebleeds! Long as I can see, I’m good!
I also did an impulse buy and got a ticket the day before her last concert in Atlanta. Up until then I wasn't gonna go because I said no way was I going to pay that much for a ticket, however I got caught up in the hype. I was in the balcony but I bought my ticket on Seat Geek which I highly recommend. It gives you 3D views of seats from the stage and tells you which ones have limited views, so I was able to make an informed decision and enjoy the experience!
OMG you had the same seating tragedy that I did!! I saw her in Dallas and legit almost fell to my knees when I saw the staircase!!! I kept hoping it would go move down until the time came where she made her walk around the circle. I was and still am SICK. I sat in row 1 seat 1, so the staircase literally cut off 75% of the stage for me. I watched MAJORITY of the show from 25% of the screen.
I’m so sorry that the dang structure ruined your time! I was at Houston N2 in the nosebleeds of all nosebleeds (literally like two rows from the very back wall of the whole stadium) and it was the time of my life! We won the mute challenge AND the surprise bonus mute challenge! I hope Houston treats you better next time 🩷🩷
I had a similar experience in DC. We were just before the nosebleeds on the far right side. So we missed out on the view of the stage from the same level but closer to the center. I only went a second time because my mom wanted to go so we got the upper center seats in California, that was the best gift my mom gave me. ❤
I’ve never been here before lol. Came up in my recommendations. You’re so cute and funny!! I can relate - going to the RWT in Louisville, I think we were like the only city where Blue was NOT there 😂 - I was upset? I’m not even from Louisville, I drove down there for that. The show was a day before my bday and my ticket was a gift/regift from my then manager who wanted me to go real bad since the other girls were going to Detroit and I wasn’t invested in going at the time… my seat was higher up lol. Anywho, I’m going to check out more of your channel!
I was honestly disappointed in the stage design. It was clear that it was built to look good on film and not for the concert experience. It also surprised me that she didn’t have any side screens for those with side seats, especially since the stage was recessed in the middle and she spent a lot of time there. She sounded fantastic though!
Love the alt look you did! I saw you in New Orleans!!! I def yelled to you that I watch your videos while trying to get to my section. I'm glad you had a better experience here! ⚜⚜ I annoyed the people next to me in my sky seats because I was up singing and dancing most of the concert💃🏾💃🏾
I bought my tickets to the 3rd Atlanta show the day off. I wasn’t going but my cousin was like, let’s go and we did. Tickets were way up but for a great price with a good view, and we met some cool people and had a great time. I’m excited for the Missy, Ciara, and Busta Rhymes concert in ATL in July!
oh my god i was there!!!! same night, same section!!! i was a little bit in front of you (i was right behind the person with the disco hat) and oh my god the view was even worse closer to the stage. it didn't help that the people in front of me had their giant hats on the entire time.
I was the same way with that album. Non stop listening for a year. I can't even remember what forced me to lift my head and listen to something else lol.
these q&a vids are so cozy and nostalgic! it has the same humourous storytelling vibes as your early-mid 2010s viddies. i'm sorry you were beyblocked by that structure tho 😭 i had a similar experience during paramore last yr, i was right up the stage but in the wing seats on the left, half my vision was obstructed by Stage Stuff. Gah!
Mine was the exact opposite experience! Bought cloud seats for her first show in my city, was miserable the whole time (it's scary up there! the room shakes when the music starts and i felt it in my body! the audience's screams rise to the top of the building and enter into my pores!). I bought floor seats (impulse buy, should have hesitated) and got to enjoy the show with my feet on the ground a few nights later. But since Beyonce took so many of my hard earned doll hairs last year, I truly CANNOT purchase another concert ticket (but obv I will go see Janet this summer)
The screams rise to the top and enter your pores. Ma'am! I, too, have other experiences in life that I wish didn't bother me in a sensory way, so I feel you. So glad you had a good time on the floor 👏🏼
This video sent me back to that night in Kansas City! I was looking goodt and had a great ass time in my section with my friend DaCosta. What a time we had!
Girl, in Atlanta there was a massive lighting structure/pole/thangamajig in between us and the center of the mf stage!!! Watched the screen all night, didn't see the center of the lil video content being projected until the film came out. Considered weeping. But YET we still went in, because who are we to get our souls broken on such a night? It was tough tho.
I was at the second night I'm Houston as well! I was higher up but it ended up being great bc the stage and screens we're so damn BIG. And yes, we definitely won the challenge 😌💅🏾
We had such similar experiences. In New York (New Jersey lol) we had seats that were so off to the side that we couldn't see the screens at all. Half of the show was the visuals. My sister and I immediately started plotting and ended up in New Orleans too. We were so high up in the Superdome. It felt like we could touch the ceiling but we had a great time.
Oh no! Different venue: I got nosebleed seats high up on the side but I didn't realize that much of the stage was recessed so we couldn't see inside the half circle for anything she / the dancers did there, only the times they came out 🤦🏻♀️
My SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE in Las Vegas! I stared at the screen the whole time from my FLOOR SEAT and watched one of the twins do his thing for 2.5 seconds but that same damn platform was blocking our view the whole time.
I now no longer feel bad for being on the very last row at the top at the Detroit show...I had a very good view of the screens. Keep ya head up Evelyn!
well, my Renaissance experience was the only one to get canceled 😩. But I had something similar happen to me at the Fomration World Tour. Our floor seats were behind some huge black box and I knew we were screwed because all of the tour footage I saw had her standing behind it the entire time. Enough people complained and we all were moved to other available sections.
Lol yup, our tickets were above the floor and we saw very well. Took my daughter for her 11th birthday, we had a ball. Very memorable experience even though Bey was suuuper late
Initially I wasn’t goin, just wasn’t feasible in the budget. But my bestie, who lives in ANOTHER STATE, bought me a ticket for my bday which was like 10 days before my city. I went alone, sat way up and to the side 😂😂. Had a BLAST! And, it poured rain all night. Never phased me, I was in Beyoncé bliss for 2.5 hrs. Ahhhhhh, such a great memory. 🙂 Glad N.O. got u rite Ev. 💕🐝
This is why I like the level right above the floor. I’m soooo sorry, Evelyn. I’m glad you can make humor out of it now. 😭 I cannot believe we were at the same show in New Orleans!
This literally happened to me during FWT!! My sister and I got a VIP package, assuming those would also have good seating. But we were on the far right side of the stage and could barely see anything happening on that huge box, which was the focal point of the set! There was also a big speaker that we had to crane our necks around. We ended up buying tickets for another show in the state. I have not splurged on pricy tickets since.
Evelyn!! Sorry for your bad floor experience, I had Club Renny tix (inside the circle) at Houston Night 1 and also went to Nola for nosebleeds which let me see things I missed on the floor. So glad I did bothhh tbh! Had good ol’ time on the floor in Houston, met Coco Jones and Normani since they were in VIP behind me😭 and yeah Nola LOST the mute challenge sooo bad ppl were screaming next to me ughhh. Bey, please release the concert soundtrack 🤲🏾!!!!
I received a notice on the way to the concert that our seats were being moved because a structure would have blocked our view. We were moved closer! We did not have floor seats but thank goodness they moved us! I'm sorry this happened to you but glad you got to go again. I think for the next concert (act ii??) I'll go for the cloud seats!
I bought resale renny tickets on SeatGeek with Afterpay and caught the Tampa show. I also passed out in the middle of Summer Renaissance because I was dehydrated from dancing and hadn’t eaten since the morning 😅
That is so gutting! I think there were a lot of notes Beyonce and her team can apply to any future shows she does because some of the seating options weren't it. The Alien Superstar riser basically being on the floor after being advertised as being raised seating was wild to me, and having your view blocked by parts of the stage should've been noted in advance! Saying that, I had a great time at the show. I got club renaissance tickets in edinburgh, and literally had the time of my life. I'd get floor seat tickets again in future to whatever the equivalent is to the club renny section. I got a seated ticket for london too, and while it was nice to see the whole stage from a bit of a distance, it just doesn't compare to being up close
Lmaoo crying this was literally my experience!! 😂 I bought floor tickets to her show in DC and could barely see over people’s heads. Had to watch most of the show on the screen too. I’m never doing floor seats again unless I’m in the veryyy front
Lol 😂 you gotta look at the seating chart before you purchase ! I bought floor seats as well. But I definitely studied that seating chart beforehand. Had to pull out a magnifying glass for this one. I wasn’t playing around
I actually ended up getting floor seats for the Sunday Houston show last minute too! Thank god the stage didn’t block the view and it was far enough back that I could see everything 🙌🏽
DAMN FRIEND! So bittersweet. I'm glad you got a chance to see her again! Live experiences are never a waste of time and money (travel, concerts, conventions whatever). Even how you dealt with it, you could have moaned about your first experience FOREVER because Beyonce, but you decided to create a new memory and take this trip with your hilarious brother (can't imagine the convos between you two RIGHT after the concert).
I'm sorry your experience was not as good as it could have been, because I LOVED my experience. Yes, there were some annoying people in front of me, but I would do it over again. I bought my tickets back when the code was being given out, too, but I did see some seats from Ticketmaster saying something about "blocked view" and I wasn't really sure what it meant, so I left those alone. Ended up sitting right behind Club Renny, in the middle, but back enough that nothing obstructed the view, so good seats for me. The only albums that had me really going, since Renaissance came out, have been Montero (yes, I know it came out before Renny, which was when I stopped listening to Montero every day), Age of Pleasure, and, now, Cowboy Carter. Now, I'm waiting on Meg's album.
We are the same. I went from playing Renny top to bottom to age of pleasure top to bottom. Got a free tix to Age of Pleasure tour (thank goodness, so amazing, never will forget, tears were shed), but RWT was deffff out of my budget
I had an experience with Drake. I was behind all the structures and couldn't see anything! A part of the stage was blocking a the screen so I couldn't never get a full view.. I was so pissed!!! I definitely believe that artist should look at the stage from multiple angles bc some people don't get a good view. What makes me even angrier is that I initially was going to get a ticket from the opposite side lol. At Renaissance, I was in the back but one of the small screens weren't working in Dallas. I was so annoyed but I could see everything else. I'm contemplating if I should get closer for Cowboy Carter.
Yes! Almost as bad...we're from the San Francisco Bay Area so we saw her at Levi Stadium (home of the 49ers)...Me and Hubby have never missed a show and I have seen all of her her shows since she was with Destiny's Child. For the Renaissance tour, we sat in the 100s section and smack dab behind a 50-foot beam that holds a speaker! Needless to say, I was pissed! During the Mrs Carter tour, we sat a few rows over from a giant speaker too! The music was so loud it rattled my brain and all of my inner organs. I felt sick towards the end and we just left before she left the stage! 😢
Going to see Jesse McCartney in a few hours and I'm so excited! This is healing my inner child whose skepitcal immigrant parents wouldn't let her go to any concerts 😭😭😭
Got the rained out DC/MD Renaissance show and boy what a time it was 😩 Getting in was the biggest battle... traffic + lightening kept the delays up, trying to shelter everyone felt like concert goers vs event staff... Finally got in right before the delayed show started (10pm!), drenched in a sticky poncho that was not keeping not one thing dry lol, sloshed to our floor seat (we didn't get blocked by those raisers, amen!) , makeup dripping into my contacts and i couldnt have been happier seeing Beyoncé in her wet n wavy 😂 Even though things were cut for time in the show, I'm glad it still went on... cause a show is gonna do what a show is gonna do!
So being a frequent flyer when it comes to Beyoncé concerts, I’ve never wanted to be front row because her presentation is always so grand. I want to see it all in one view. So floor is fine but towards the middle, never the back though. That being said, I told myself that based on my assessment of the Renai stage, I would have to be on the edge of the circle, and hopefully towards the middle. I was lucky enough to do so and get a semi club renaissance in experience with a seat AND she walked right in front of me NO OBSTRUCTION ❤!! That was a gift. Lower level though is always my go to.
I had a different bad experience. DC Night 2 it poured all damn night. Oh and because I had no floor seats I was soaking wet. That coupled with the intense humidity inside the venue there were a couple of times I thought I would pass out. Then there was a thunder and lightning and I swore the concert would be canceled. Anyways just a testament to how great of a performer she is because she did half the concert in the rain.
Being that my money has been funnier than I am my whole adult life I go see the concerts I can afford at venues I know and can trust - the Greek, Hollywood Bowl, the Bowery Ballroom. Also note: small to medium venues. I watch the stadium ish on social media as the people with coins are generous to share their experience. Maybe one day I will see the shows of my hearts desire live but I'm afraid of exactly what you described. This is the type of vulnerability and transparency I need. Your words resonate like a crystal singing bowl.
I injured myself in the months after buying my ticket and ended up in the ADA section. ONLY FOR 2/3 OF THE SECTION TO BE TAKEN UP BY THE RENAISSANCE LIGHT KIT. 10 people ended up being lined up in 2 rows and we only saw just beyond the main stage (no screens nothing in the back) I was HOT and almost bought a ticket for the final ATL night but couldnt logically swing it. Still tight about it to this day but happy there was a film because that was the only way I saw the show fr
I went to the formation tour and was three rows in front of the tippy top row. Beyonce looked like an ant, thank goodness for those screens. We still had a hell of a time up in the nosebleeds lol
Gurl. I decided to not go to the Houston show because I couldn’t get as good a seats as I got for Formation tour without a second mortgage. The regret I’ve carried has shortened me by a whole inch. And I’m only five foot. This helped. 😅
Wow, thats a shames. I try to sit on the side of the stage but now over half of those are platinum. I’m going to see Meg Tha Stallion, Alanís Morrisette and Missy Elliott this summer. I can’t wait.
Girrrrlll I went to the Houston concert night one and was in the sky. I WAS ON MY FEET THE ENTIRE CONCERT!!! My whole section was a party 😩 Lord take me back!
So I went to the Philly show, and not only did I not get the big 3, but I thought I was killing it with my little presale seat in the 100 section..get there, and the entire VIP "loft" structure is blocking the runway. So if I wanted to see Blue get to the end of the runway or like anything on the runway, I had to see it on the screen because the VIP section was high up and blocked the view. And of course Ticketmaster didn't start naming "limited view" until after that.

My (current 😌) budget LOVES to be up in the atmosphere close to Jesus 🙌🏾 so I GET it! 😆😅😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂 💀
Amen 🙌🏾🙏🏾
If the "clouds" is where I get to experience my favs...thats where I will be!
😂😂😂😂
I was at the NYC Night 2 show. She got this GORGEOUS pink coat for “I’m That Girl”. Blue Ivy opened her jacket to the “New York” tshirt. I was up in heaven and it was BEAUTIFUL.
We got one of my friends tickets bc she too only listened to that album for a year but I couldn’t afford to get my own tickets. I drove her and just listened outside the stadium and it was lovely
You're an angel
Wow what a loving, selfless thing to do 🥺 You are an amazing friend. Wishing y'all many shared concerts in the future 🙏🏾
Oh that’s so tragic, esp after spending all that money 😭😭 I’m so sorry not just for you but for everyone in your section
I wanna see Missy Elliott’s concert for sure💜#afrofuturism
She's going on tour??? I know that's about to be amazing!
@@BooDotBoo yes!!
That was us in Chicago night 2. Obstructed by the VIP riser 🙃. So happy we had tix in Detroit too.
I too was in the clouds for her Jersey concert 😌 but i had a good ole time dancing and singing with everyone 🐝
Evelyn, that was a travesty! You truly handled that like a champ.
I too had obstructed view and logged on to TikTok a few times during the show to see certain parts.
I’m so glad I sold my floor seats and settled for the 400 section. I was squinting but it was a good time.
😂
I’m excited for the Roots Picnic! It’ll be my first year attending and my first music festival!
well, my Renaissance experience was the only one to get canceled 😩.
Lower Bowl is low key where its at, if your on the side your honestly get a really good view
This is why I hate floor seats lol unless you’re front row you can’t see forreal!
I agree. For Lemonade we had far away seats and went to the New Orleans show and had floor seats and had to stand on chairs the entire time
I received a notice on the way to the concert that our seats were being moved because a structure would have blocked our view.
I could actually see the show from the clouds ☁️😂😂😂😭
Bay Bey!! I was at the DC night 2 show. That is a story I will tell my grandkids....
I was also in the clouds at Renaissance, it was amazing 🥹 I’m ready to be back in the clouds for a Cowboy Carter tour lol
Oh love the dedication with the La Croix painting! Only just noticed it now.
I was at the same show and the mute challenge was amazing! I can't believe you couldn't see 😢
It's good you put this experience on the internet. There's always room for improvement.
I wish she would give us a live album of the tour. Because I too now sing the live versions while listening to the studio recordings 😩
Renaissance is STILL everything!
Another upload?! Our cousin is spoiling us😂
I will BALL👏🏾OUT👏🏾 on live music experiences so your dedication is ME. I saw her in Seattle and paid for the BEST 🤣🤣🤣
10 people ended up being lined up in 2 rows and we only saw just beyond the main stage (no screens nothing in the back)
I was HOT and almost bought a ticket for the final ATL night but couldnt logically swing it. Still tight about it to this day but happy there was a film because that was the only way I saw the show fr
I went to the formation tour and was three rows in front of the tippy top row. Beyonce looked like an ant, thank goodness for those screens. We still had a hell of a time up in the nosebleeds lol
That was wonderful. A life lesson. A good time. Travel. All's well that ends well!
Gurl. I decided to not go to the Houston show because I couldn’t get as good a seats as I got for Formation tour without a second mortgage. The regret I’ve carried has shortened me by a whole inch. And I’m only five foot. This helped. 😅
Yooooo I was seated in a very similar area and my view too was blocked. Them seats was $500. I was pissed.
We were both at the New Orleans show🤛
Like I love you soooo much. Seriously so funny!!
And of course Ticketmaster didn't start naming "limited view" until after that.
im so glad you got to actually see it 😂
