Great video! Sidakov is a legend. I’ve noticed that before he hits his slideby that he shifts his opponent’s head to the same side as their arm that he will pull through. It is a small detail, but I’ve shown my high school wrestlers and it’s made a difference for them.
Sidakov is a GOD!!!! The guy beat Kyle Dake so easily it was like watching a middle school wrestler go head to head against a collegiate athlete. The difference in skill and speed are night and day. Sidakov reminds us of a younger faster Jordan Burroughs.
Great work, thanks for sharing! Regarding alternative names for the "snake arm", I've seen/heard it referred to as a "drape". At least, Logan Stieber calls it so. In this case would be a collar tie drape. I've seen him teach it as an inside tie drape in one of his videos, when the opponent takes an inside biceps tie.
I’m seeing more and more people go down to both knees when shooting the high crotch. Sidakov does it here and then ends up in his crackdown, but I’ve seen Spencer Lee do it and then pressure in and finish like a normal high crotch. Is going down to both knees on the high c the new best technique?
I don't see any advantage finish-wise to go to both knees. I think it's happening due to the defensive wrestler putting weight into the opponent's head or the offensive wrestler needing to cover just a little more distance on their penetration.
That overtie is OP if you understand how to use it. Here we are Sidakov using it at the highest level with ease. It's amazing to watch

Drape is definitely easier to say than snake arm

It’s not new , a lot of I international wrestlers finish their shots , Americans wrestle completely different from the rest of the world
