Ask them again tomorrow , next week , next year , next decade and even the next century( if you're lucky enough to live that long ) and stand by to be amazed at the indifference to you idiots and your causes the 99% is. I love Joaquin so much for what he is doing for the movement..for the poor animals! He did the voice-over in the documentary 'Earthlings' which I saw 5 years ago. After seeing the horrific heartbreaking footage of the slaughterhouses I became vegan straight away. Many thanks to the all the activists (AnimalEquality) in London!! YOU ARE GREAT!!

      I worked for over 40 years designing and installing automated production line equipment in slaughter houses around the US. Never bothered me in the least. I could walk the kill floors all day and eat Pork Chops for dinner and bacon for breakfast. Now at 84 years old I see no need to change a diet I've eaten since I was a child and devoured my first chili dog .( I still love a good hotdog ; ) Those "poor animals" are billions of peoples dinner every single day on this planet. You don't want any fine.. Just eat your tofu , carrots and celery at the dinner table and shut up. Because we really don't care what you grazing animals think or have to say .Just so you know .

    I'm watching this as I wait for my favorite vegan restaruant to open. Veganism has come a long way since I first became a vegan 15 years ago. I live on an island in Thailand with a huge vegan community. This part of the island has dozens of vegan restaurants and vegan shops with cruelty-free products. Everywhere I have traveled to recently has had loads of vegan options. This didn't exist 15 years ago. I am so happy that Joaquin is using his fame to help animals. This totally made me cry from emotion and happiness. When I think about what exploited animals are going through on this planet right now, it really breaks my heart. But all it takes is for us to show our compassion and love for all species and it will change the world. Go vegan!

      Lunatic alert.. Somebody here needs meds .. Seems your delusional thoughts don't align with the reality of life on planet Earth past or present. Be careful you do not step on a bug and squish it. The pain and depression from such an act might lead to suicidal thoughts for a person as sensitive as you seem to be.My advice is seek professional help immediately if not sooner..Now , a little about my life. I designed and installed automation equipment for slaughter houses all across America for over 40 years and I'm just fine.. I have a beautiful wife ( 53 years now and counting ) 3 grown children and 4 grand children. I had no murderous desire nor any remorse about killing say 12,000 hogs or half a million chickens a day to meet the needs of millions of people who comprehend that humans are omnivores and we eat just about anything to survive on Planet Earth. That's called living in the REALITY but it's clear from your incoherent rambling you're not here with the rest of us. The thing that scares me most however is there are at least two more people who agree with you and that IS a scary thought... They should be seeking professional help also ..

    If you people care so much about the wildlife and the way the animals are treated then start shouting at the top of your voice, especially you women, who are in these groups.
    One woman one child until further notice......... No government law is needed to protect these animals just the ability of women to protect the health and safety of their children.
    So if every woman said one woman one child. , that one child can only be born to that one woman between the ages of 20 and 35. she has to choose between a full-time job and motherhood because being a mother is a full-time job........ She has to have a proper home and the finances to look after that child before she can have the child.
    That's all it would take to reduce the human population and protect all these animals because intensive farming is created by overpopulation........ it is why we are sterilising our seas from overfishing, because were over populated............ in the UK there are so many people on this island that this island's natural resources can't support, it is why we are desperate to do deals with other countries for food. It is why we are still trying to make a deal with the EU for food.
    . So if you people really care specially the women in your group start shouting one woman one child.. that simple act in protecting the welfare of a child, making sure each child that is born is born into the proper environment..........., you get rid of the benefit culture. you stop children being born into poverty, the environment that creates over 90% of your crime.
    is solve the food problem , no need to have intensive farming , solves your housing problem, , the waiting list problem, in your hospitals the congestion on your roads you create a healthier environment to live in. you shut the doors to immigration., and you adopt a better system that is more compatible with the limited space you live in....which would be a community system.
    You will have accomplish all this by the human female putting the welfare of her child before the own wants......because it is the female of all species that controls the population of that species and the human female is no difference............
    So if you care about the wildlife and your children's future. Let's see you start shouting then ladies. , because it is up to you to protect these animals and protect our species future by controlling the population.
    ONE WOMAN ONE CHIILD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

      @Dutchy McSmoka animals in nature don't enslave each other, soooo no work. try again.

    • @GeneralArmorus
      @GeneralArmorus 4 роки тому

      @Dutchy McSmoka We seem to disagree on 1. whether animals that are "not nice and civil" by human standards deserve to live their own life w/o human interference; 2. whether all wild animals or even substantial amount of species are bad MFs that go around mistreating whomever they meet jus to pass time (if it's just lions - it's not the species we imprison the most of); 3. whether life in nature is better or worse than life in human confinement.
      I don't think you have anything new for me, might as well move on. I've heard this multiple times already and observed enough of wild animals to get my own idea, and sometimes have to try to explain to people why wild animal suffering is none of human business at this point, unless caused by us.
      Your comments will just give me a facepalm.

    • @GeneralArmorus
      @GeneralArmorus 4 роки тому +1

      @Dutchy McSmoka 1. You didn't prove anything. 2. If some ants species create slaves means that we can enslave these ants for that, that doesn't mean we can enslave some other species e.g cows. In my book anyway. 3. If some animal enslaving another means all animals can be enslaved, then humans can be enslaved too because humans are also animals. Unless you accord humans special treatment.
      4. Forget emotion. Where did I appeal to emotion? I just use logic. But everyone has their own logical conclusions because everyone accepts different positions, including when it comes to morality. You can use logic to reach a conclusion that all humans should be wiped out or that you would hunt and eat humans if it wasn't for the pesky laws.
      5. Again, you seem to believe that nonhuman animals are amoral and don't care about the suffering of others, which means that we don't have to care about their suffering. And I believe that at least some animals have some sort of morality, and on top of that amoral animals still deserve moral consideration.

    • @GeneralArmorus
      @GeneralArmorus 4 роки тому +1

      @Dutchy McSmoka Peter Singer:
      "
      Now it is difficult to compare two sets of conditions as diverse as those in the wild and those on a factory farm (or those of free africans and slaves on a plantation); but if the comparison has to be made surely the life of freedom is to be preferred. Factory farm animals cannot walk, run, stretch freely, or be part of a family or herd. True, many wild animals die from adverse conditions or are killed by predators; but animals kept in farms do not live for more than a fraction of their normal life span either. The steady supply of food on a farm is not an unmitigated blessing, since it deprives animals of their most basic natural activity, the search for food. The result is a life of utter boredom, with nothing at all to do but lie in a stall and eat.
      In any case, the comparison between factory farm conditions and natural conditions is really irrelevant to the justifiability of factory farms, since this is not a choice that we face. It's whether animals destined to live on factory farms and then killed for food should be born at all."

    • @GeneralArmorus
      @GeneralArmorus 4 роки тому

      @Dutchy McSmoka Gary Francione:
      "First, although some animals eat each other in the wild, many do not. Many animals are vegetarians. Moreover, there is far more cooperation in nature than our imagined “cruelty of nature” would have us believe. Second, whether animals eat other animals is beside the point. How is it relevant whether animals eat other animals? Some animals are carnivorous and cannot exist without eating meat. We do not fall into that category; we can get along fine without eating meat, and more and more people are taking the position that our health and environment would both benefit from a shift away from a diet of animals products. Third, animals do all sorts of things that humans do not regard as morally appropriate. For example, dogs copulate and defecate in the street. Does that mean that we should follow their example? Fourth, it is interesting that when it is convenient for us to do so, we attempt to justify our exploitation of animals by resting on our supposed “superiority.” And when our supposed “superiority” gets in the way of what we want to do, we suddenly portray ourselves as nothing more than another species of wild animal, as entitled as foxes to eat chickens."

      @Dutchy McSmoka actually I am not attempintg to talk in absolutes. I AM talking in absolutes, at least in this case. We are talking about the stuff we put in our mouths 3 times a day for food and build up our bodies. Food is either healthy or not. There is no middle ground. Alcohol is toxic and unhealthy. Water is healthy and nourishing. Explain to me how is that propagating religion. Same thing with killing a sentient breathing living being, who doesn't want to die. You choose either to kill an animal for his meat or you leave him alone and choose plants. Where ALL nutrients come from by the way (except for B12, it comes from bacteria in water and soil).
      Science is proving again and again that we can survive, live and thrive on a 100% plant based diet. During all stages of life. Ergo, no need to kill. Full stop!
      Believing in something (meat is beneficial) for wahetever reason (taste, culture, tradition) even though science has shown that it is unhealthy, sounds more like propagating religion to me
