You prove over and over that an interesting story is in how it's told. You have such a great sense of how to tell a story and how to make a video. You do what's interesting to you, tell us about what YOU want to tell, and I'll be here to watch it. Thank you so very much.

Great job showing what is required to keep a small farm producing. I have spent a lot of time buying and maintaining tractors and equipment over several years. I have come to realize the farm does not require most of it. It's nice to have but not a necessity. The cows don't care if the hay is made with a $100k tractor or F-20 Farmall. Joel Salatin always like to say what makes a piece of land a farm are farmers; otherwise it's just a wilderness. Using animals to do the work rather than equipment has many bonuses. Pigs have a sign on their forehead "Will Work For Food." LoL... I have restored a few tractors and know what you mean about burn out. The restorations you do require enormous amounts of time, money and energy. The many parallel enterprises you have going and watching the old equipment get the job done is truly an enjoyable and educational experience.

I love that YT is not the main focus. I've been watching since I quit working when the C happened. Thank you for your calm, caring, informative and inspiring content. Also talk about managing runoff, pasture rotation, your beautiful cows, and bad Dad jokes. You must be doing something right. Right?!

Too few people(and neighborhood associations) appreciate fine yard art. I think some enterprising urban developer should weld together lots of agricultural antique equipment leftovers and paint them jaunty colors, place them in a park and put a brass plaque designating it a memorial to all the inventors, industrialists and farmers who made our country possible in an improbable and tough world. We have several very old horse drawn implements in our front yard, collected by my city boy husband. He sees the beauty in their design- I see the history of invention and practicality. We have had to argue with the township over whether the pieces are junk(no, they are fresh painted) or historic artifacts(yep, historical societies at local and state level say yes).

Excellent video Pete :) also history on tractor parts for fix ones up got fully restored on and nice history lessons too! Also give you Lol Pete :) when growing up beside pine tree in near fence gate also driveway were my dad also uncle had on was horses drawn 2 row pull cultivatetor was rust up also in memory of my grandparents on dad side ! Ask why was there to dad and uncle one time they said was feild were big 1984 Machinery shed is and plus been Chicken barn many years to the use ! So was so nice hear and saw pictures of them doing feild work on 3 acres was team horses to black and white pictures of 1950's and color of 1970 to when Chicken barn before fell apart! Plus saw the old 1945 Cockshutt 35 loader tractor near Chicken Barn also Threashing Machine had on farm was destroyed by a fire many years ago with 1950 Cockshutt COOP 40 tractor belt run it plus men hard at working! But in Summer of 1996 my dad , uncle his older brother and were cleaning up farm for get sold also on rust old Machinery shed in south west side of home farm saw up by slide door on rafters truss was rusted of old single plow with disk horses drawn type so dad said get 1963 McCormick International B414 Loader tractor Desiel fuel motor plus bucket with some chains so ran up big Machinery shed of 2 kms run and got there ! So 3 of us guys got down with hurting us or tractor to was my late grandparents it was Massey Harris Number 7 plow and disk one team of 2 horses pull it ! Funny part we saw in local paper got 5 days a guy looking for payed for about $500.00 to $1.000 depending condition and we phone in 1996 and show it and said $800.00 and said no problem! Also my uncle and dad said that your spending money for awhile so don't over spend it ! So said take you both out lunch on me tomorrow agree 👍 to ! But we found lots abandoned stuff on farm too and from 1918 to 1980's plus tool still have also for Square Bolt and Nuts from Ireland made company 1920 to 1950 but one have is 1937 ! Pete do remember the Kersone fuel tractor talk about plus Crude Oil Tractors (Russia made) were 1930's years ran on oil or dirt engine oil like Desiel motor how but smoke like coal fire train and gas to plus Steam engines tractor to ! Seen in lots you have to plus others only 9 years younger you but been to shows of farm ways plus in my local area too ! That got me say my Auto Mechanics trade came in full time in and still prefer Old Technology lots more interesting in over New Technology!

Hi Pete, I restored my 1945 SC Case back in 1976 and it has done a tremendous amount of work around here ever since! It is simple and reliable, always starts, and is currently belted up to the buzz saw for cutting firewood. Those final drives are actually big roller chains. Look at your axle housings on each side and you will see that the mount holes are slotted so that the housings will move back to tighten the chains. My tractor has a hand clutch and no hydraulics. I plow with an IH Little Genius 2-12" trailer plow on steel behind the SC. I love running the old antiques, but also have made the decision to not drag any more restoration projects home and take good care of what I already have. I'm glad you are getting some rain up there. Here at our place in north central PA things are dried up! Take care and have fun! Chip

I don't know if you've touched on it in any of your previous videos, but how did you get interested in mechanics and tinkering with automobiles? It's seems like a crucial skill to have as a small farmer.

Awesome video Pete! Thank you, I was wondering about your F20 you lean on during your videos, wish I had one, but I'm like you but with cars. Just keeping the collection going is a big enough job! Thanks!
