Well yeah. It's still not that bad thanks to the Modding Community. And games are playable, we just need more content as in maps and gamemodes

I can barely get on a match on Xbox, takes about ten to fifteen minutes and I downloaded it 2 weeks ago

Ps5 here. Well, sometimes there can be troubles with few people playing for certain gamemodes (though it's kinda rare + there is a possibility that in an hour or so I would be instantly thrown into a full lobby in the same gamemode I couldn't find a match before). But generally the game is pretty much alive and for the most of the time I have absolutely no problems finding a match.

I highly recommend everyone to check out the modification named Movie Battles II to Jedi Academy. It's a completely different kind of animal than Battlefront and is now 20 years old with still an active playerbase and development team.

Star Wars + Helldivers 2 system clear mode would be huge
Yep. So many cool gamemodes they could've made. Hopefully one day we'll get a proper BF game
I am truly happy that I have been playing it for so long, but yet, I am slightly disappointed that I cannot transfer my data from Xbox to PC. I really wish I could because I REALLY don’t want to have to gain all that progress again, but I do want to play with the mods. I did unfortunately take a “break” or stopped playing for about a year or so and I regret it, but I am still enjoying it and good at it. I can’t wait to play the mods, even if I have to regain my progress (on PC).
Progress can be quickly recovered with Triple XP events in co-op. You can get up to 20 levels in one hour on Wednesdays 😃

Yes it is buddy. I think we' ll get to a point where the community will make a New Game from scratch 😂 Its already basically happening with Kyber and Battlefront+. Noted and will check out the mod first thing in the morning 🫡
@@Geektorian the problem with kyber is the mods, in my experience it takes me quite some time to launch the game with them, and when i see a kyber server with other mods i have to delete the ones i have and download others, if they had a feature to download mods automatically would be better, maybe they will put that in kyber v2
@@guilhermecoelho3795 Yeah heard they are working on Kyber 2. And yes I know what you mean. Thats why I prefer to get my mods individually that are also Multiplayer compatible and avoid all the fuss 😄

Aye I agree. Thats why I like the idea of Outlaws even tho' I dont necessarily like the character and the price lol 😂 but its gonna be smth new. And yesh I feel lately they strayed away from the movies too much

Jugding by some of the leaked footage of Battlefront 3 and knowing it was decently far into production is so depressing.. Battlefront 3 looked so damn amazing!
Yep. All stopped because EA refused to accept that the fanbase dosent want microtransactions. Also the game was 80% complete lol

I still play Battlefront II Daily ! I don’t have mods yet though I was thinking about buying helldivers 2 for the Star Wars mods
Do as you wish bud 😃 BF2 is great modded. And yet Helldivers is a great game as well. Not sure but I think theres only a bunch of Clones you can use there tho'. I saw Cpt. Rex, Cody, some 501st skin and Hunter. But theres sure gonna be more
JEDI Acadamy is still going strong with the moviebattles community and it probably has the greatest lightsaber combat of all-time in any star wars game. plus its been updated with mods and a new blocking system with multiple stances and custom saber hilts and over 200+ characters from every starwars movie and even starwars legends with different models of each character. It has 16vs16 servers and then duel servers(20 man servers where its only 1v1) you also have the option of being storm troopers and bounty hunters and droids on the 16v16 servers

Is there a way to get a full lobby on Star Wars Battlefront 2? I play it on PC but only got a full lobby on a certain time. Also, is there a way to play on the Playstation server? I heard that PS server is more active than PC.
Hmm I guess it depends on your location in EU and US servers are full most of the time. I hear people complaining that console servers are worse lately. Perhaps try a VPN on PC

I’ll always come back to this bf2 bc of this n it being the newest one it looks crisp. The lack of new maps is a major L n kyber never worked for me
I belive Kyber 2.0 will come out soon and fix issues for most people 😃🫡

Console player here I really wish they didn’t stop giving updates. Battlefront 2 the only game I play. But I wish ea gave more characters, missions, challenges and more story modes. I’m having to repeat Jedi survivor when I get bored.

So much potential, they are making more movies and shows, and EA doesnt have to be creative. Its a win win for everyone, because EA trying to be creative results in 2042.
They re not even trying to be imo. They just rush everything and try to milk the communities for money. They want everything made as cost efficient as possible
@Geektorian What I mean is they had a very prominent fan base for star wars, and ditched it to try and make another battlefield. I completely agree with you. they aren't trying because they'll get money either way
I love BF2 but sadly i don’t have a PC so I miss out on all those extra mods. I play it all the time but I don’t have any friend who play it so it gets a little boring but I still enjoy it. And I absolutely love destroying droids as a heavy
Yes buddy unfortunately we can't mod consoles yet. Perhaps one day. You could add other Random players I guess see if they wanna team up 🤔 Or ask around groups for people playing on console theres plenty of them

The game runs really well through ProtonDB (way to play non native games on steamos).
To use frosty (the exe to install the mods) you'll need to get WINE (way to run windows exe on linux/steamos)

EA abandoned the game as retaliation for the fans speaking their minds. Now as usual the mods have to finish the game by adding the characters we all wanted. Sad

I recently got back into the games and the game is so fun. Until the cheaters show up, threatening to ruin all lobbies. The fact that half of my lobbies have been using developer scripts is embarrassing on EA's part...Yet again it is EA
Well yeah.. cheaters are a problem. But tbh even with the game service gone its not that many. I used to play COD Warzone and that game was a joke when it came to the amount of cheaters it had 😂

The original bf2 is also wonderfull without mods. The grafik is awesime for 2024. Olaying this since release in 2017❤️. Older games are way better than this new jedi game
Yes I agree the game looks brilliant even after 7 years. Such a shame they let it go. I also enjoy the Jedi games but yeah the graphics not that good. The story and gameplay are brilliant tho' 🫡

Well yeah.. they were probably planning on adding the rest of the content in the Loot Boxes, which would've been disgusting. But anyway it would've literally take them 1 day to add a new character in the game.
