Dude that harmonic you hit at 4:39 sounds EXACTLY like my Ampeg VL-502! I've been searching for years for other amps that do that weird creepy pinch harmonic thing i never thought I'd find a solid state that nails it so well!
@jconner3891 as a boost I use it with level max all EQ settings noon and gain zero. From there you can tweak the EQ however you want. The key is to make small adjustments. People say that pedal sucks but it's incredibly versatile when you kinda learn the tricks. Do you have Instagram? I can send some pictures.
I've had a rg100es for a few years now, I first got it trying to get EYEHATEGOD tones and it does that great with the boss sd1. The metalzone absolutely pushes it the hardest. But you should get the "bower power overdrive " from "Does it Doom" it was made just for this amp and the ss150 it's amazing
"Spiritual Healing?" the song by Death? If so I never heard the track until now and that guitar tone sounds similar to Flotsam And Jetsam's "No Place For Disgrace" album. Death Angel's Seemingly Endless Time sounds close to it also. All this may be due to multiple microphones, double tracking, layering effects in the recording studio though. I'm really not hearing that tone type hear in this video at least not through $30 earbuds
Keep an eye out for the randall xp3 “block booster”. When u engage the treble on the amp it loses volume. The xp3 brings that volume loss back. Had one years back. Amazing. Shouldnt have sold it.

I gigged that amp for years back in the day. Got lots of compliments on my tone. Cool stuff.
The metal zone is the best boost ! No doubt. Absolutely fucking crushing.
How do you use the metal zone for boost?
