Best video on UA-cam. Thanks for the straight forward approach without any nonsense. My project went well except the one and a hours trying to get the top radiator hose off. Merry Christmas.
Great video helpful just changed my water pump on my chevy express .the hardest part for me was removing the baked on paper gaskets from previous water pump.
Agree, this video is straight to the point! You did a great job with camera angles and video editing, plus the work!. Changed my Express 2500 pump in 3 hours and only had to buy the fan clutch tool. 👍👍👍👍👍
I really like this video it’s really really good they shows to you everything step-by-step. I need to work on my own van Chevy express van and I’m sure I will make it perfect like this guy.
This is the way videos should be done without all the bullshit talking! Just keep doing videos like this and you’ll have 1 million subscribers! Thank you. I will be putting in a water pump myself looks easy.
I’ll be doing mine pretty soon, my van started to leaking coolant, This video encouraged me to do it. Thanks man, excellent video, just wonder how to bleed the system? That’s the only thing I didn’t understand; how to make sure the system is bleed. Thanks a lot !
Hi Antonio once you fill the system with coolant turn the vehicle on put the heat on high.. let run until it is at operating temperature... When the vehicle is at operating temperature and you have the heat blowing hot through the vents that's letting you know the system is bled.. add more coolant if needed ..hope this helps 🍀🤘
@@kevintieu5198 yes sir once your done replacing the water pump or whatever part that is leaking ..and make sure all clamps are tighten down then fill the cooling system and bleed the system
@motivquotez iirc like $800. but I'm up here in Fairbanks, Alaska so it might be higher cost for me. I had to take it back to them for warranty work and they claimed they found something wrong with the water pump so they warrantied the whole thing out. then at the same time they did put in an Arctic grade power steering hose cause it's common for those to go out up here in the extreme cold. 🥶

I noticed a lot of water poured out when you removed the old water pump. How do you replace that water after installing the new water pump?
after removing the old water pump and installing the new water pump. I refill the cooling system with fresh new coolant
And dispose of the old coolant
DAMN good video
Una pregunta? Que año es el van ???
¡Gracias!
Thank you, Alexander, so much for the support!!!! 🙏 🙂
What are the torque specs for this job
How long did this job take you?
With replacing the water pump and bleed the system about an hour and 20 min
@@luckysdiygarage Thanks! So I should plan for 4-5 hours to do it myself. What are some things that could go wrong that I should plan for?
Is it a v6?
