What a beautiful car. Brings back memories. When I was about 14 back in the early 80s. My older cousin had a beautiful 69 z28 yellow with black racing stripes. Muncie 4 speed will 4/10 gears. Always loved that car. Congratulations on owning such a piece of history.
Beautiful car and love your work on all your projects. I'd say for a winter project, install a LSA supercharger on the LS3, and maybe a DSE Quadralink and Mini tub to fit some 335's.
Came out beautiful , nice work. The exterior and interior are so mint my ocd noticed the little details and that emergency brake release lever could use some love with a fresh coat
Like usual…..you killed it, another bad ass ride that you pulled off!!! The stuff that you create in that garage is SPOT ON brother……love it!!!! Your attention to detail is extraordinairy!!! That car is definitley a keeper…….worthy of staying in the family for many generations to come!!!
This car is a thorn in my side to look at! I had an opportunity in 2010 to get a 69' RS/SS I think it was, I had no more room in the garage or at the house. It BITES ME IN THE AZZ to this day for NOT getting it! Love your freaking car Chris!
I can’t stop watching your videos of the 69 build! Dude, I’ve never seen a nicer muscle car. A+ I originally found your video on the C6, I have a newer version, C8. All black of course, I love it, but I wouldn’t mind it sounding like yours. I just don’t think my wife would go for the loud exhaust, she doesn’t get it. But there’s something about the open header sound with the cam, that I cannot stop watching, mostly to hear it! My sand rail has an LS-3, open headers, I didn’t do the cam, dammit. Anyway… you are a talented guy, also jealous of your 4 car garage with the lift. Thank you for the great content! I’d love to hear a stronger pull with the 69, if you can get any kind of traction. Look forward to more great content. 👍🏼
Not sure if you have paint protection film on the 1969, but I cant recommend it enough. Especially for the front. Seeing the work youve done, its definitely something you can do and maybe even charge other people as another hobby. Awesome build.
So friendly advice I have the vintage air on my 67 it works awesome HOWEVER their kits do NOT come with a trinary switch even though vintage air recommends using one. The kit comes with a binary. The switch is only a couple bucks will save your compressor in the long run and in order to install you can have refrigerant in the system. So now would be the perfect time to install only takes a few minutes to install and another few to wire it in.
@@ChrisSullivan69I second the above on the trinary switch. I have dual Spaal fans and trinary tied to one of the fans. So 1 fan triggered with compressor engagement, second fan comes on when trinary calls it due to pressure. Wait till summer, throw it in with a new drier and charge. On the charging instructions... vintage calls for 1.8lbs... IT IS A BALLPARK. You have to measure the high and low side and fill it up no more than 2x the ambient +20% for their kits. Don't be surprised if you overcharge and have to pull some out as there is a little spitballing involved
Chris here in Phx. and southern Calif. in the late 50's 60's most all custom cars were on a rake, (lower in the front) fast forward to the present I think I'm in the minority, but I still love the looks of a rake on a car especially for some reason on Chevys I just love the looks and sound of your Camaro I'm envious GOOD JOB.
Love the channel, and thanks to the UA-cam algorithm for suggesting it.(2 years late) Nice to watch someone with the skill set and attention to detail that you possess. The 69 is awesome, but like you I just cant deal with the carburetor and drive by cable platforms when you have the response time with the LS and Holly. (I may be biased as this was the platform I grew up with) You will have to do something about that rear bumper, the exhaust tips are putting some heat to it! Personally I think the tips would look better turned down as they came from the factory... Also I can understand why you haven't yet done a spreadsheet revel on this car yet, but if you're willing to share that info I"m sure it'd be great for views! Concerning your HVAC, the liquid line coming off the compressor where it was leaking, may have something to do with how much heat is transferred to it from the headers. I know I had a C6 that gave me trouble with the heat from the headers when it came to the refrigerant lines. I ended up wrapping some areas of the lines because I didn't want to wrap my headers. Thanks for the content!
I was thinking the same thing, but Chris made that engine bay look so clean, I’d hate to tape those headers either. It sure sounds amazing. And the looks are more impressive than most super cars on the road.
Man that camar looks awsome! Ours 69 convertible camaro RS converted has a similar problem with the reverse lockout. When you shift into reverse it doesnt wanna come out lol. But the reverse lockout works. In our 1969 real z/28 camaro it has the reverse lockout problems. The convertible has a v8 swapped 327, it had a inline 6. The z/28 has a rebuilt 302 that a CT speed shop built in the 90s. Man one day Im gonna own a 69 camaro like yours. My dad owns 2 so now its my duty to get one myself. Keep up the great work!
Car looks good. I just got my LS3 powered 67 on the road a few weeks ago. Way different than a SBC. Thinking about going Roadster Shop SPEC chassis on mine. Take care.
Great video Chris. I really don't see how you could do anything more to Improve this car. In my opinion, it's perfect, and I don't say that lightly, however I'm sure you will find something else to amaze me with. Take care buddy.
Chris - you do unbelievable work! Love the channel and love the cars you work on. This 69 is sweet along with the Vette's and that red SS Camaro you did. The 69 is completely bada$$ and put together just how would I do it. At the end of video, you mentioned you were looking for ideas on where to go next with it. One thing I'd like to see you work on is the panel gaps - especially the passenger door to the front fender. The gap at the bottom looks fairly wide. I know that's I'm sure how it left the factory but given your skills I'd like to see what you could do with it. Absolutely no dig on the car whatsoever, Thing is sweet as is but given your skills I bet you could knock it out of the park! Idea only. Keep up the awesome video content!
The front air dam has always looked a bit out of place to me on the car, but it was done well so I know it wouldn’t be an easy change. I wonder what some C6 ZR1 style side skirts/splitters would look like on it to even out the ground clearance. It would tie in the Corvette brakes as well.
Chris I noticed your AC condenser drip hose isn’t hooked up, you may already know that. Just wanted to let you know, I have a vintage air kit in my 66 chevelle. I Used a bulk head fitting for mine.
Great and iconic car 👏🙏 But may I ask why your digital voltmeter „needle“ is bouncing around? 🤷🏻♂️ Regardless: The car itself is a real Beauty and the engine sound -> 🙏 Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋
ONE BAD ASS 69 CAMARO CHRIS ,GREAT JOB !!! I WOULD PROBABLY INSTALL A 9 INCH REAR END ,AND A MINI TUB ,WITH A WIDER TIRE ??? LOOK FORWARD TO SOME MORE VIDEOS ON YOUR 69 CAMARO !! HAVE FUN DRIVING IT AS LONG AS THE WEATHER LETS YOU !!!! JESSE VIA LAS VEGAS
What is your exhaust setup? It sounds really good. I just picked up a 2015 SS Camaro 1LE with the ls3 and it has stock everything on it. It has a good tone on cold start but, it's lacking that aggression.
Hey Chris, you mentioned Tru Turn; there is so much yes and no online about fitment, and you may have chimed in on the oil pan conversation, but does your tie rod end whack the oil pan? Did you mention you have the -2 Holley pan or do you have a knock-off? I’m at the crossroads, I inadvertently threw out my steering arms so I have to either rebuild the stock stuff or go with Tru Turn as they come with new steering arms right? But I don’t need oil pan interference or header tube interference. Thanks.
Did you check out the video on the tru turn install? I went into it in fairly good detail. I believe I have the -3 pan. Let me know if you have other questions
Thanks. Yeah just rewatched it. I was thinking you had a genuine Holley pan but you don’t unfortunately :( . I’ll keep researching to see if anyone has been 100% successful with the Tru Turn -oil pan issue. But it looks like I’ll probably just completely rebuild my OEM center/ tie rods and go with that. Thank again.
I still don’t understand how this channel hasn’t reached 100 thousand subscribers yet you have the cleanest builds on here car looks bad ass Chris
Thanks man!
I say the same thing! Good stuff on here.
Agreed
Should be + million
What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking

Definitely a timeless design!
Seriously underrated channel dude. That car is so sick. I know you worked really hard on it and it shows.
This is one of the cleanest looking 69 Camaros on UA-cam. Love your attention to detail.
Beautiful car and love your work on all your projects. I'd say for a winter project, install a LSA supercharger on the LS3, and maybe a DSE Quadralink and Mini tub to fit some 335's.

Donut on the cup genius, great video as always thanks for sharing
You’re solely responsible for me liking these Camaros now I used to not even care for them till this build! I love it brother looks killer
Much appreciated!
Welcome back!! we missed you for a while there........mini tub / wider tires...excellent job....keep it up
I can’t stop watching your videos of the 69 build! Dude, I’ve never seen a nicer muscle car. A+

A mini tub would be awesome on that car! The way you rolled the inner lip should get a 305 or maybe even a 315 out back. Awesome car Chris!!
I stumbled upon this car while shopping weld venturas for my scatpack and I fell in love with this camaro 😂
Appreciate it man 🤙
Great car, lots of work and dedication in your builds! Thanks for sharing...

Mine came with the trinary switch
Chris, great looking 69...the only possible improvement that I can think of is the rally sport hide a way headlights...keep up the good work!
The Sixt9 is F’n awesome 🤜🏼🤛🏼 ( mini tub in the winter ✅ )
I'd leave it just the way it is! You've got that dialed in really nice!

Didn't get to watch as soon as I normally would, but another banger once again. Love this car and video!
I’m stoked you trusted me to work on it. It’s even more perfect in person haha. Everyone kept talking about it after you left 😂
Absolutely hands down Beautiful!
Car looks fantastic, very nicely done like usual! Id like to see some mini tubs get installed next.
Beautiful car. I’m a mustang guy myself but I gotta admit this car is gorgeous. Keep up the great work. Best car channel on UA-cam.
I would love to see a Detroit Speed mini tube install and adding a D1SC Procharger 👌
Love this build!! Just Awesome

Awesome work as always! Extra credit points for bumping key glock😂
Awesome build.....love the attention to detail...and the Welds are killer
Mini Tub from Detroit Speed, and a Currie 9" would be badass.
How you don’t have 1M followers is beyond me.
Awesome as Always
Appreciate it!
Mt dream car , the wheels really set it off . Good job man
Mini tubs, whipple or maggie, 12bolt...killer job with the car already...
Your car looks awesome!! 👍🏻👍🏻
mini tub with a 2650 would be fun. lol that would mean a complete overhaul of quite a few components though.
That is a thing of beauty.
Car has the best of both worlds 1st Gen look updated suspension brakes LS3 power and reliability would be my choice very nice color combo
That’s a dream car for sure. Awesome work!
Car looks awesome! My vote is for wide tires front and rear and signing up for your first autocross 🤘🏻
Love the video as usual
I think as a possible suggestion.
Maybe some ghost stripes
I think it would set the car on kill!!!!
Keepa cruisin!!
i absolutley love this car. My dream car.
I Chris, fantastic to follow your build!
Looking great! Wouldn’t mind seeing some home renovation content too. If you do your house like you do your cars we are in for a treat

No snow plow. Haha. Love it now. But I understand. One more thing.
I cant believe your roads are amoother than ours and you get more snow! I would also like to see you rippin through the gears on a back road burn.
mini tup and a lsa !! maybe power tour, or ls fest
Car looks good. I just got my LS3 powered 67 on the road a few weeks ago. Way different than a SBC. Thinking about going Roadster Shop SPEC chassis on mine. Take care.
I have a roadstershop spec chassis under my 67 Camaro. Definitely worth the money. . I highly recommend it.
Great video Chris. I really don't see how you could do anything more to Improve this car. In my opinion, it's perfect, and I don't say that lightly, however I'm sure you will find something else to amaze me with. Take care buddy.
Damn! I love this car! Great work guy!
Mini tubs, 335 tires and a roots blower
Chris you need garage door openers besides your mini split for hot days in garage
Love that you eat in it.
Loving the 6.0 shirt
Quad link/mini tub❤️
Absolutely love your cars man! Outstanding work!
Much appreciated!!

The time lapse of the exits looked familiar. I take the same to get to my parents place in Pepperell
24:02 The AC working 😂
I do not see mini tub on the list. Ha ha. Great video.
Another great episode, this car is on a different level. Top job man👍
Appreciate it!
You have one sick ride bro!
Appreciate it!
dude you are my hero! such a machine!
The front air dam has always looked a bit out of place to me on the car, but it was done well so I know it wouldn’t be an easy change. I wonder what some C6 ZR1 style side skirts/splitters would look like on it to even out the ground clearance. It would tie in the Corvette brakes as well.
Did a hell of a job
Thanks!
She came out so nice
Supercharge it with a candy blue lid🙌🙌
Man if someone from 1969 would drive that car they wouldn't believe how a car could be that good
Absolutely Beautiful car💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I’d vote for wide tires and supercharger!!! 💨
Definitely need tubs and 335s on the back of that beast!
another awesome video. keep banging away.
This is one badass camaro
Tub it, bro!
Beautiful '69!
I absolutely wish front window tint was legal up here.
It's not legal here either lol
@@ChrisSullivan69honestly, I thought the b roll footage of the cop with your car in the parking lot was busting stones for the windshield tint. 😂
@joebowers3060 nah he goes "I hope no one busts your balls about the windows I don't care about that stuff I think it looks sick!" 😄
All I'll say is 👍👍👍! Love it bro
Thanks!
I swear I saw you on 93 in the 69. I’m in Quincy MA. I say another 4th gen! Instead of a flip build it like you did with the 69!
Haven't been down that way in the 69 but I used to live down there!
Clean 🧼🧼🧼🧼🧼
Looks good as is
What's up Chris big dog you got that Thang on point Yell 😊😅😂
Looking so nice Chris, I’m not sure I’d go much further unless it’s subtle. Less is more 👍🏻😂
I agree!
Sunch a sweet Camaro. You don't disappoint.
Chris I noticed your AC condenser drip hose isn’t hooked up, you may already know that. Just wanted to let you know, I have a vintage air kit in my 66 chevelle. I Used a bulk head fitting for mine.
Good eye! Gotta get it on thefe
That is one nice car! I’ve been wondering where the mustang is.
Finally a new video !
What do you think about some pinstriping? Double line - one in black one in that blue.
Great and iconic car 👏🙏
But may I ask why your digital voltmeter „needle“ is bouncing around? 🤷🏻♂️

Pretty sick ride- chevy fucc the world👌🎯✌️
That rake IS perfect for old school muscle. Wheels tucked just right. Nasty ride here
Its beautiful
upgraded tail lights? maybe try berger panel mod with vinyl
Can i ask what side mirrors are you running? They look really sharp.
What is your exhaust setup? It sounds really good. I just picked up a 2015 SS Camaro 1LE with the ls3 and it has stock everything on it. It has a good tone on cold start but, it's lacking that aggression.
Do hideaway headlights and a ghost hockey sticks stripe on the side.
