There's no more key for the elevator, I guess the only chance you'd have to open the door is to get a lockpick, although I don't know how exactly the game works so you could've opened the door to the power room, but my guess is that throughout the game it will eventually spawn a lockpick, so don't worry. At least I did not had any problems with it, but you can always leave a comment to notify if something's wrong.
I've played doors before the update so it wasn't that hard at all. Btw this walkthrough was my 5-6th attempt right after the update, if I'd knew all new stuff already it would take around 30 minutes to finish. To be honest this isn't the hardest walkthrough I've ever made, you can see that there's a second video about DOORS update where you need to complete 1000 rooms (which I did), you can check if you want, I'm just saying this as a reminder.
I don't know either, I think that glitch can appear randomly when you open the door, but when he did appeared on my playthrough I've got legitimately scared 😳
I think that soon enough I'll make a new series about this game by playing with randoms Once you complete the game it's pretty boring actually :D Also yeah, I've beaten this game when it came out as soon as possible (I have a video on my channel)

You can get the key to the power room it’s just in the elevator.
You can get it once you’re done collecting all the fuses.
