I recently purchased denim jeans and a denim jacket for colder and rainy summer days, a nice one colored shirt to wear under the jacket; summer sandals and just a touch of jewelry (earrings and a bracelet). I had so many people compliment me that day on what I was wearing, it was unreal. I never really was into wearing denim, however, watching one of your earlier videos and you said denim was in, I purchased a few denim clothing items. You are so right! I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea of animal print being a fashion statement.
I just turned 60 just retired after 38 years of teaching elementary school! I love the wide cuff, just went over to Talbots and ordered mine. I will be wearing them now that everyday is casual Friday, lol. I love your style Beth you truly inspire me. I can't wait for fall it's just still so hot 😅here in Texas.
I'm retired after 41 years of teaching back in 2020 started watching all the fashion videos that I couldn't enjoy before. It's so much fun and it's amazing how much younger you will feel as you tweak your wardrobe!

Disagree, thought that added a frumpy/dumpy look. She looked w-i-d-e. Not flattering. Other outfits though, Beth looks stunning - as she does most of the time. Thought the monochromatic outfits were her best. Agree with another post that Beth looked stunning in the ivory outfit.
@@deepuls545 nope. She looked amazing. It looked super youthful, and was the most flattering pair of jeans on her. It was high waisted, so she didnt lose any leg length. And it really emphasized how nice her ankles looked. Ivory outfit looked great, but only if youre going somewhere. Not for just hanging out or doing errands. And the black look was great, but not modern.
Love all the trends for this fall. I love the casual leisure wear. I just have to find the right style for my petite frame. a lot of athletic pants can be too long for me, so sometimes I have to look at the crop or the 7/8 length to fit me like a full length pant. I also love the blazers. I have a few in my closet that I like to wear, especially in the fall. Great info and great examples of these trends that you highlighted. 😊

I just bought a pair of cuff blue jeans. I love my jeans they are high waisted. I just snipped the side strings that held the cuff and they are perfect now.

Why does everyone say older women should wear high waisted pants? Can’t stand them. I get swallowed up in and feel terrible in them. I mistakenly bought a couple pair and getting rid of immediately. Maybe my body type. I’m pretty thin. Not all women of a certain age are heavy. Seems everyone presumes we are. That we want or need to hide our shape. Not true. Your style is better than most women of a certain age. My age.So many frumpy influencers over 50 or 60. I get frustrated watching most of them.
I love wide leg jeans especially when cropped, but at 5 feet tall, it's so hard to find anything that fits right. They look great on you though! I love the leopard print trend, and I'll be looking for a couple of things to add to my wardrobe. Maybe a blouse and a scarf or shoes and a cardi? ❤
I love the look of the first outfit with the sleeveless top and jeans. However, I don't think I will ever wear those big, wide leg, throwback bell bottoms. Been there, done that. or the Fonzi leather Jacket.
We had the "Peanut" jean in the 70s. It was a micro hiphigger that was so low, you had to wear a bodysuit or your butt crack would show when you sat down.
77, fine artist and museum guide, so I'm still at the job scene, and I love and wear mostly monocromatic outfits in my favorite colors as black, navy, dark brown and olive. But I love bright color twists, too.

I literally would not be caught dead in pants that don’t go to the floor. At times a pair of pants can look ok at the ankle but the taper, the shoes, the season all really has to be just right - I don’t know why all these older women channels encourage the cropped pants - can’t let go of the capri’s?🤷♀️
If you don't like cropped flare or wide-leg crops, then you don't. I share this option as these styles are on trend and keep us looking modern, fresh, and relevant. The younger women's channels share them as well. Again, because they are on trend. By the way, capris are back in a BIG way. Fashion. What's in one year is out the next.
@@BethDjalali I do not see middle aged women wearing cropped pants - I don’t. I watched the Ralph Lauren fall fashion- didn’t see cropped pants - or if they were it snuck by me. I saw high waisted wide leg pants of varying width - looking very classy

I am heavy, short waisted and north of 60. High waisted pants are uncomfortable, mid rise is much easier to wear.

I always recommend starting small when it comes to leopard so a scarf or shoes even a belt are a good place to start.
