What kind of slip knot do you use? It looks more substantial than the usual but it's too quick to follow. I searched for other demonstrations but can't find it.
As you’re working the toe/successive rows, do you continue to have four needles with stitches and then one needle doing the working? Or does it get down to 3 stitch needles? Thank you! This tutorial helps a lot.
Great question! The length is determined by how many stitches you want to cast on and how many stitches you'll increase to (if that's the pattern). I prefer a standard 6" DPN needle for projects like socks or mittens and shorter 4" DPN's for super small projects like baby booties. Longer needles are generally better because you're less likely to drop stitches. Keep in mind, though, that longer DPN needles might get in the way. In the end, finding the perfect size is personal preference!
Excellent instructions for DPN. Thank you
Thank you for your clear and easy to instructions! I’m knitting a toe up Xmas stocking using four double pointed needles and this was perfect!!!🤩

I don't see anyone mention the length of the DPNs required to make the Judy's cast on. So I supposed the DPN length is not relevant?
