Two thumbs up brother for your review, editing, and commentary! One thumbs up for the optic. In today's manufacturing of optics, I feel a new company should stand apart from all of the run ot the mill companies.... I would have been thrilled if it was a 34mm tube and had illumination. To some people that might not be critical, but to me, it is in a market of hundreds of great optics that have stood the test of time. Concerns would be, company longevity, customer service and support, and origin of manufacturing. Great job brother! Keep it up!

At that price point and for the quality abs repeatability that it s showing it will fill a niche for a scope with the features this has for way under $1500 which is generally around the price paid for scopes at this quality level.
As always Joe a great review that helps us get a good idea of the scopes Performance and build quality.

Great reviews as always mate. Your channel is awsome and you speak my language , no bullshit with a nipple twister. Best scope reviews on the planet. Just wish alot of them weren't made in China. But man they do represent good value for the money though. At the end of the day its all about the budget and for this price you get something that will do the job very well.

    Joe,
I look forward to new videos from you more than just about any other channel I follow.
I love learning new things and if I can be amused at the same time it's just perfect....and you NEVER FAIL TO DO BOTH BUDDY!!!
"A mule with 3 midgets stacked on top of it, with a crackhoe stacked on top of them" might be the funniest analogy in YT history!!! (Arken v Vortex video)
Honestly, you are crushing the YT game my man!!! My only complaint is I wish you had more time and more scopes to review lol I don't consider a scope properly reviewed until you do it. That said, I can't wait to see you review the Maven RS.3/RS.4
I am a stranger to Joe, aside from DMing him for scope advice we've never met. I don't want people to think I am a pal of yours.
    Cheers buddy!!! 👍👍

You hit on a pet peeve of mine. When I see guys massaging these PRS rifles or RPRs and ask em what they think they're gonna break. Inevitably, I have had ppl tell me, well the optic. I just laugh. I can't help it. I've seen guys with NF, Leupold Mk5, S&B PMII, Trijicon ACOG, etc, etc. I ask em if theyve ever researched the story of the model they're running and most haven't. Every one of those has a lifetime no BS warranty and are military spec scopes. Now most ppl think mil-spec means lowest bidder, but it doesn't. In truth it's the bidder that MEETS the specifications of the RFP AND isn't always the lowest bidder. Often there are what we call, doesn't have, must have, nice to have, and future have. Many times bidders only meet the must have and that's enough to win the contract, but often they're not the ones that do win, because of the nice to have and future haves. The recent SOCOM Tier 1 sniper rifle ammo contract only a single bidder met the specs, and it was the most expensive bidder.
My point is this, you like won't break it, and if the warranty is solid, then it won't matter if you do break it.
    Excellent review as always!

Joe, I really enjoy your informative videos. I feel more informed on scope purchases after watching them. Can you speak to generally how much parallax error is present in a non parallax adjustable scope, like say a 3-9x 40 leupold? I squirrel hunt with a 6-24x50 scope on a pcp air rifle. Some time, by the time I get the parallax adjusted my shot opportunity has passed. Thanks!

    • @CyclopsJoeVideos
      @CyclopsJoeVideos  3 роки тому

It's actually very little when talking about hunting . It's like MAYBE 1/2 inch . For target shooting it's too much ...For hunting I just use a fixed parallax scope

*Come on Cyclops, I figured you'd be on the MOA train since this is America, not some weenie ass country that uses the metric system! Hell I dont have the slightest idea how big my "Johnson" is in mm, cm, or mils, but I can tell you in inches, I would say feet but not here to brag, and I can tell you in MOA!! If you aren't going to review moa scopes would you at least give us the moa equivalent specs in the video or at least in the description box. Great videos btw, keep up the good work! You are my favorite optics reviewer on UA-cam, hands down. Thanks Joe*

Ok i bought the scope for $750 but im notising its not like my Element Titan or Helix in that the Zerothech almost tops out for 20.5 grain .22 cal slugs shooting out of a mkiii wildcat at about 70 yds. Im not sure if its because the scope is not made for airguns or because its a .1 mil Mrad reticle scope. I zeroed it at 70 yds but ill try 40 yds. Wildcat mkiii supposedly has a 20 MOA picatinny. The other option i have is adjust my eagle vision rings for long distance but i would think 20 moa is enough for 70 yds like the Element scopes are. If i have to adjust rings for long distance how many clicks should i leave for going up longer distances and how many for going down. Thanks for your help and insight on the scope!!

This scope looks amazing, Joe! I am not sure how else to contact you but I have a question. I am working on a .300 Win Mag for elk hunting and fun target shooting. I have a SWFA SS 10x42 on order. But my question is, what if an elk pops out at 25 yards while cow calling. Will the 10 power SWFA even be able to focus at that close range? Any other viewer is welcome to comment, too. My other thought is what if a grizzly bear charges, will I be able to see that grizzly's head in the scope to get a shot off or at that point, it probably is a matter of pulling the hand cannon and shooting with that. I bought the SWFA SS 10x42 based on your reviews. I just wonder if now I should change my order to a 6x42 since I won't be a long distance sniper or competitor. It will just be for elk hunting and fun target shooting out to 600 yards, maybe 1000 for shits and giggles if given the opportunity. Sorry to hijack this scope review. I just didn't see where else to contact you. Thanks.
