Toya, this is my first comment ever on UA-cam and I'm doing it just for you. I had the UFE in 2017. It is safe and effective but very painful. I was in the hospital curled up in the fetal position for 2 days. The uterus gets angry and fiercely contracts because the blood supply is cut off. The pain level (scale of 1-10) was a 7, even with pain meds. The medication never gets the pain to zero, so make sure there's no gaps without it from the minute you're discharged. Each day the pain went down 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. It took about a week for me to reach zero pain. No one explained the pain in detail for me, so I'm sharing with you and others. My fibroids did not return so I'm happy I did it. You're an amazingly strong woman (like me) so if I got through it, I know you can too. I had the same exact procedure that the physician described to Toya and it 100% worked for me. It’s been years and I have NOT regretted my decision. For me, it was better than having a total hysterectomy❣️

A month ago, I had my UFE, I'm just starting to feel a difference in my energy levels. The community is right. The fibroids become very angry after the procedure. My Dr recommended an overnight stay, after the procedure ( 2 hrs), I stayed 2 hrs for observation and told him I was going home bc I felt great. By midnight, I was extremely nauseous and went to the emergency room and was admitted. Somethings I want to share. 1. Do your best to empty your stomach and bowels, I was extremely constipated, which added to the discomfort. The pain meds also lead to constipation, so keeping a light diet before may benefit you. 2.Your DR may be able to provide you with a nerve block for pain, unfortunately my colon was in the way, so I was not able to do so. 3. Stay hydrated. My Dr went through the groin/leg area, the entrance wound was smaller than a mosquito bite. Everyone will have a different experience, and this is not medical advice but rather my experience.
I had fibroids. They said the fibroids made me look three months pregnant down there. They also took one of my ovaries. Everything went great until the bladder infection. I got medicine and it was fine.
I'm so glad you're speaking on eating right for your blood type I've been telling people about it for years now and no one listens to me . They say I've never heard of that it seems weird.. smh thanks for mentioning it 👍 👏.
Check the medical board for your state to get real information about your surgeon. There you will find all claims against their license that caused medical harm or outcomes

Hello Toya, I’m from New Orleans but relocated to powder springs after Katrina. Now I’m in Mesquite Tx been here for 6 years now. But I’ve gotten the UFE back in 2017 by Dr Lipman. He was actually awesome. My procedure went well and yes I did experience pain later after I got home because I had a very poor care taker (narcissistic now ex husband) to care for me and didn’t give me meds to stay on top of the pain. If you stay on top of the pain by taking pain meds you shouldn’t have that problem. My sister lived in Texas at the time and had her procedure done by a Dr there and her Dr consults with Dr lipman for advice. Dr lipman was one of the 1st Dr’s to master this technique and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Maybe the reviews are not accurate and people are hating because he’s a White Dr with black clients. Because he is the best. I hope your surgery goes well and you are happy with your results
I need to receive this blood test. My cousin did this years ago, and his weight loss is crazy. He can't eat certain foods, because of an allergy, which causes inflammation. I think the same thing is happening to me.

Getting pregnant does not help fibroids please educate yourself if anything the hormones from pregnancy cause them to get larger and getting pregnant while having fibroids can be a risky pregnancy

@@ToyaJohnsonLive just now seeing this. The first 24 were the worst. After, it got much better each day. 75% of the pain was gone after 24-48hrs. Just slight bearable pain/discomfort thereafter. Hopefully your pain has subsided just the same.
Start manifesting your boy. My grand baby entire paternal family manifested that she would look like her grandfather. And secretly my daughter because she felt like they would question the baby if she didn’t. Now she’s mad that she even came out with a George Jefferson hairline like them and their hair texture and none of them hair seems to grow. I told her that she had to be specific with god. We thought she would at least have long curly brown hair and light eyes because it’s a dominant gene. The whole thing I’m saying is manifesting works. Side note she also had fibroids but was able to conceive with them which shrunken during pregnancy.
15:25 This is the continuation of colorism. Maybe ask her what’s wrong with being black or getting darker? It’s a shame it’s something she already knows is looked at as negative. With no correction she will think it’s ok. I wish we would stop the cycle, imagine what she may think of dark skin girls if it’s something she’s like ewww I don’t want to be that. That energy can come across and it just continues the division of us as sisters. I was really hoping she would be corrected. It will let Toyas supporters know this is not cool. Sweetheart she didn’t mean any harm. She gets that from my mom. Older people in New Orleans say that if you’re in the pool all day. I can see what you’re saying but trust me Reign knows her black is beautiful. She’s reminded of that in our household. My mom plays with her saying if she don’t get out the pool she’s gonna get black joking with her because she never like to get out. It’s a better way to say it to her but we are not perfect and don’t pretend to be. Nothing about us screams colorism. We don’t play like that at all.
It's not about she didn't want her baby to get black . She can get Cancer for have some much sun when she gets older for not protecting her skin. Some sun is good some can be to much.

I have fibroids I had the same surgery I had they came back I’m scheduled to go Tuesday for another surgery but it’s robotic hopefully this one works my period in July lasted 32 days my body was ready to shut down

I did a hysterectomy 2 wks ago because I have 2 kids and dont want no more. I feel awesome. Still sore but much better..
I did the hysterectomy as well. I could not deal with the pain any longer. No issues after surgery.

I avoid eating any red meat. I just eat salad and fish; I don't eat chicken. I discovered when I consume red meat. My knees hurt from it.

With no correction she will think it’s ok. I wish we would stop the cycle, imagine what she may think of dark skin girls if it’s something she’s like ewww I don’t want to be that. Sweetheart she didn’t mean any harm. She gets that from my mom. Older people in New Orleans say that if you’re in the pool all day. I can see what you’re saying but trust me Reign knows her black is beautiful. She’s reminded of that in our household. My mom plays with her saying if she don’t get out the pool she’s gonna get black joking with her because she never like to get out. It’s a better way to say it to her but we are not perfect and don’t pretend to be. Nothing about us screams colorism. We don’t play like that at all.

It's not about she didn't want her baby to get black . She can get Cancer for have some much sun when she gets older for not protecting her skin. Some sun is good some can be to much.

I have fibroids I had the same surgery I had they came back I’m scheduled to go Tuesday for another surgery but it’s robotic hopefully this one works my period in July lasted 32 days my body was ready to shut down
