I went through the same thing last year when I purchased my home and I’m 45. I cried many of days and got denied my first time for something I was paying off at closing. I had to go through a different lender and I found a better home……and I closed in December. With DHI my closing changed 3 times and was denied, then changed to a different lender and closed in a month. It is very frustrating, and stressful but rewarding. I COMPLETELY, COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!!! ❤
Also think about paying 2 twice a month. I pay half on the first and the second half on the 15th. It helps cut some of your years down.

Congratulations Dee!❤ I purchased/built my first home at 27 as well! Stayed there 3 years and sold it to build my dream home…May 2024 is when my home was done and I’ve been in it for 4 months now!!! But yes the whole process can be a headache, from the lender to the builder to the numerous closing dates they give you…CONGRATULATIONS ITS GOOD TO SEE YOU GROW FROM WATCHING YOU WHEN U FIRST STARTED❤

I went through the same thing when I bought my home. Sending documents over again that you have already sent. That is the one thing I would advise when buying a home have your paperwork ready and in order before they ask each and every time.

Fr ppl are staying at home longer and longer cause buying a home is so hard to do for the last few years
It’s the market, it fluctuates. I purchased my home at 26 and it was ONLY because the market was in my favor and interest rates were down. With time, opportunities will come, rates will drop and all will fall in place. Stay encouraged.
It’s been almost 4 years and some days are tough and I reminisce the days of renting and the luxury of having access to a maintenance team.
It all has its pros or cons and none of it defines your value or success!
