Cy24 and cy24 v2 are the same as far I know. Cy24cv. The cv stands for commercial vehicle and has a 5th depth for decoding freightliner. The truck one is singled sided and just for semi truck single sided locks. The one you want is the cy24cv
So i got the cv24 v2 and not sure if i broke it or doing something wrong but stick it in put little tension and all numbers the pick just drops to bottom. Doesnt stay in middle so i can decode bounce or not. Possible i broke pic tip? Or doing something wrong. Thanks

Does not work on Freightliner semi .I have tried it. Many times. It may work on older ones but from 2007 and up they don't. I have over 40 of the lishi and use them a lot . I can pick the Freightliner lock easily enough
Did a 2018 two days ago. If it has a 5 depth the lock will only turn a few degrees. Almost like a false set. It rotate far enough to unlock it but you can absolutely take a reading a cut a key.
@@BoredLockpicker i done 2 2017 Freightliner Cascadia and it didn't work because all the wafers are all on the bottom and the Lishi couldn't even line up with the wafer so I ordered the single side Lishi that works on Peterbuilt and any single side truck lock that uses a Chrysler type key
I have that lishi but I've actually never used it. I always use this one on semi trucks. If I ever come across a freighliner lock I'll do a video. The two junk yards I go to pull locks dont have semi's

Probably not because those new vehicles don’t show up at the scrap yard. I did a 2018 ram today. It’s this Lishi. Same process

You’ll just need a $2000 plus dollar key machine and a $1000 dollar programmer and you can do it yourself
Is there a different cut between a ignition key and door lock?
door has seven wafers the ignitions has 8. same key will work both

yep. I use it almost every day on CJD vehicles. works great. I only use it a few times a month for semi trucks.

This is the Lishi. Strange his door key in his Prox wouldn’t operate the glove box though.

thats the side the view finder on the camera is on... doesnt matter its like a key it can go in either direction

Better off just getting an extra key cut but yes cy-24 cv will work perfectly for it. A slim jim also will open them.
