Thanks, just getting 2 Kayeton cameras today, managed to find both 2.1 and 2.5 mm CS mount fixed lenses as well, so 'almost' as full Foresight package... Am a bit worried though with 26 sec 'warning', seems super slow to load - but, yes, FSX Play... Still work in progress I guess... Thanks
Are the other lenses from Kayeton or somewhere else? I'd like to know where you found them. Yeah it can be really slow to load in Play so I put that in there so people didn't think it was super fast after this video was edited. It's not slow in FSX 2020 and honestly it's just better to use 2020 to record your swing. Hopefully Play continues to improve...
Great channel you have. I ended up trying both the iVCam and Kayeton cameras using fsx 2020 on a pretty beefy laptop and have the same issue with the video playback dropping after a few swings (sometimes goes black and sometimes white). I’ve tried every resolution, fps and video format and usb port/cable combo possible. Same problem persists. Have you had any issues with this? I tried going into the annals of foresight forums and it seems to be a common problem. I’m ready to sell this thing and go to Uneekor. Any recommendations?
I’ve had the same problems. At first I thought it was from the IVCam app but I’ve had it happen with USB cameras as well. Sometimes it’s not a problem at all and other times it hardly works. Maybe give Swing Catalyst a try. I haven’t gotten to it yet but I plan on reviewing it. That may be a better option than switching launch monitors. Let me know if I can help. Thanks for watching.

nice. looks like your using the eye mini. How are you finding its accuracy? compared to something like GC3/bushnell launch pro
I think the foresight launch monitors (including bushnell) are as good as it gets for indoor accuracy. I find the eye mini can put a little more curve on the ball flight but it’s a lot better than when I first got it. Back then you would get some wild shots every once in a while but that seems to have stopped. I’m using it more and more as I’m testing cameras and I have to say it’s a really good option if filming your swing is a priority.
I have bushnell launch pro and I find it literally right on the money with my distances. Never get misreads and super accurate. My only gripe is wish it had impact location for the gc3/ launch pro
@@nichollsboy11 true. It would be nice if they add the impact video like the eye mini. It could be done and maybe not overlap with GCQuad’s impact location.
Thanks for doing this. It's a niche market so next to nobody reviews & tests the various options and how they fare. More well deserved views and likes for you. I was looking into the ELP ones too so maybe you can review one of those. Because I can't justify paying 200$+ for those Carl's place ones when the chinese ones are much cheaper. I don't care about resolution as much frame rate. I've seen a few monochrome ones do in excess of 600fps which would be nice assuming they work well enough without crazy lighting requirements. Your sim might benefit from more light it seems. I have a spotlight for the mevo fusion and a bar light that I only use for technical work. Don't care about camera as much when I play so I turn the bar light off.
Glad it's helpful! I'm working on the Uneekor Swing Optix cameras now. Also will be checking out Swing Catalyst software so I might try out their USB cameras as well. That seems to be asked about a lot. I have my normal fluorescent garage lights plus a track light over my mat. I prefer to keep the garage lights off so the screen looks better but that's tough on the cameras. I might add a ring light or something I can use in front of me...
What unit and software are you using at the beginning? I have Skytrak+ and I’m concerned about accuracy of club data. Thinking about changing but don’t want to move from one concern to another.

Thanks for the videos. I'm like 75 years old and built a great simulator a couple years ago but haven't been able to figure out the camera thing. I still haven't been able to break 100 and I'm not sure what to do next. I don't want to spend a fortune on cameras especially if I can't figure out how to hook them up. I can afford 500-1000 maybe. Can you please give me some direction

With BLP you have the camera integration in FSX 2020 and FSX Play. You could use the Kayeton cameras from this video and it couldn’t be any easier. Just plug them in and select them in the FSX software. I think they are $85 each plus shipping. Using cameras in FSX isn’t the greatest (2020 is better than play) because it doesn’t easily save and organize your swings. 2020 will upload them to FSX Live and you can watch on a web browser. If you want better software you can pay for Swing Catalyst and run that while you’re playing another software. With that said, it’s probably better to spend money on lessons from a PGA pro. You can use cameras to work on things your pro taught you at home…
