Thanks for highlighting the equipment and setup of your sim. This was helpful as I am considering setting a sim up down the road. Keep up the great work !

Great explanation and detailed breakdown of what you have in your simulator, the upgrades you spoke are excellent feedback for those of us planning to build one of these

Any plans to try the new Carls Hotshot Gel in your new setup?

I’ve got it and used it during my Mos Desertly GSPro video from a few weeks ago. A review video should be uploaded in the next day or two. It feels pretty awesome…

    1. If u weren’t a content creator and were only gonna choose one launch monitor to have for game improvement? Which one would u choose keeping in mind price and subsriction costs?
    2. U live in Texas?! I seem to remember watching a video where it was super cold in ur garage when u were playing. Im in S. Texas. We dont really get any of those days down here. Lol

      1. Probably a BLP or GC3. I will say I’m using my Uneekor Eye Mini a ton right now and it’s pretty awesome combined with the swing optix cameras.
      2. Yup, I’m outside of Houston. I’m gunna have to figure out some kind of air conditioner situation for the garage this year…

@@friendly_golferyea im considering a mini split. The summers here are brutal! My brother put one in his garage for his piano and it keeps the garage very cold. Plus, he claims his electric bill only went up $25/mo!

@@pmata814 I was hoping for something portable or that didn't need a permanent installation but haven't really found anything I'm sold on yet. I don't need it to be room temperature but I just don't want to be drenched in sweat within the first 5 minutes...

Just to give my 2 cents… I’ve had the Skytrak+ and then switched to the GC3/BLP and love it. Worth the higher subscription costs IMO for more accurate club data, faster response times, and most importantly bigger hitting area.

Have you ever looked at the Pro Putt Systems putting mats?

I'm familiar with them. It's the same panels as the SIGPro Flooring and I was super close to trying out the SIG version. I still may someday but I felt like I should give it a go with a DIY flooring and turf option for a while first.

Is that single track light adequate for your Swing Optix cameras?

It's workable but when I'm actually concerned about the video I just turn all the garage lights on

Center the lens not the projector.. Is a piece of information that every first timer needs. I learned that the hard way too.

I think mounting the projector was the most annoying part of getting set up in the beginning…

Is that the Uneekor Eye Mini software that is running on the laptop in your video?

Appreciate the breakdown! What have you done to control sound in your simulator?
I have a net and TV setup in my garage and the irons are fine but my Stealth Driver makes an annoying piercing sound.
I just bought some thick moving blankets which I hope will absorb some of the sound but didn’t know if you ever had that problem?

Driver is definitely loud but it's not a problem for me. My family can hear it inside the house but they say it's not that annoying. I think the blackout curtain I hung on one side helps a little.
