Something people are not thinking about, while you are doing camping, it will be amazing with the seats all the way down, to play your games and watch movies while in the bed, you can have the romantic/fireplace mode on Tesla screen and use the other screen to watch a movie while in the snow or somewhere cold. It's also really good for your rearview passengers if they are gaming, I want to watch a movie without staring at that small baby screen by their kneecap
looks great. but why did you say it's "safer" to use the 12V. i have a ventilated cushion that's already using the 12V center console plug. will the cable length of the 12V reach the trunk 12V receptacle?

Awesome video!! Thinking of getting it to connect my steakdeck for PC games. Do you notice any problems with sag in the middle, or worry of support strength since the diaplay clips just sit on those ceiling trim pieces? Or is there a frame/support piece in there that it sits on. I'd be afraid of the tv weight pulling off the trim and falling down.
My phone, or iPad does not have noticeable bluetooth lag. A tablet holder to the back of the front seat remains the best solution for backseat entertainment.

Have another EV but this is pretty cool. Some questions. Is Netflix and Prime Video showing in Full HD? Also you should've ran a small right angled HDMI wire when you were installing it so that why the port could be elsewhere in the car and not just hanging up there. Also I wish the screen was matte instead of glossy. That reflection would drive me crazy.

This is so nice. However, it is pricey. And I wonder if the screen would interfere with the driver and front passenger. I sit pretty close to the front (I'm vertically challenged). But, if someone is taller, would they have to deal with the screen when it is down?

@@dadstoyscars I haven't taken out the measuring stick yet. I just got an 86, and a 55 QLED and I don't know what to do with the 43. It's too big to be used as an office PC monitor. I'm hoping to recycle it for car camping/tailgating. LOL.
@@dadstoyscars Got lazy and didn't take out the measuring tape but according to online resources the roof is ~60 in.x 40.5 in. at its widest? A typical 43" TV is ~38.5 in. x 24 in. So yeah, it's cutting pretty close with the interior side trims. They don't make 37-40" 4K TV's and only 1080p; otherwise it'll fit. Or just I can just go for a 32-34" 4K monitor but they're quite expensive with USB-C input. IPS/QLED/OLED at that size cost a lot!!!

Agreed it is too expensive for not connecting to Tesla directly, not being touch screen, and can only have 1 headphones connected.
