I'm so excited because I just purchased my very first Happy Planner! My life is very well let's say boring however now I find myself putting things in my planner and my goal is to do everything I plan on doing. Hi! I'm just getting into planning and your videos are really awesome. I just have a question. What kind of pen is the one you used to write down "Bachelor" and "Disney"? I would love to make some designs with that kind of pen on my planner. Love the fact you take off the page to put the stickers and then snap them back in... It's so easy =)

Yeah, I have to really be in the mood for washi! I actually find myself using washi more for things other than planning, like... Hanging wall art in my home or office, wrapping gifts, sealing envelopes, etc.
I find myself using the Pentel Signature Pen and the Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen / Soft Type & Hard Type.

I would like to see stickers and maybe pages to add for working people. Like: training, meeting, supervision, luncheon, meeting with clients, data entry, make phone calls, etc

Hannah, I saw a Tombow calligraphy kit in Hobby Lobby. It contains some pens and a how-to booklet. The script looks like the one used on a lot of the Happy Planner stickers. (The lower case R is distinctly overstated.) Is this the type script used? If not, do you know the calligraphy style's name? Looking forward to seeing more of these videos!!! TFS 💖🎉

I love love love Tombow! I have never used their kit but all of their designers are wonderful!
I have watched a lot of different videos on UA-cam and Instagram. Each person has their own unique style, but at the same time resemble each other quite a bit!!
I am still practicing - it's definitely a work in progress!! Haha
I find myself using the Pentel Signature Pen and the Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen / Soft Type & Hard Type.

I bought a new Happy Planner 2 years ago and was kinda intimated by it lol. So, I used it as a regular planner, no stickers, not colorful at all, black or blue ink always lol. Oh my gosh, after watching this intro to using the HP, I did buy a new one for 2021. I'll get brave and buy stickers, color ink pens. Who knows maybe write outside the lines lol. Wish me luck. Happy 2020-2021.

I just bought my very first Happy Planner....but I'm a little intimidated and not sure where/how to start.

Do not fear! There is no wrong or right way to do this!!
Every #plannerbabe is different. Some put the stickers down first (like me) and others like to write in their plans first and THEN fill in with stickers. Try out both styles to begin, see what works best for you. Maybe this week try writing in your plans and then decorating. Next week reverse it - stickers then plans!
We are going to continue to share a bunch of tips and inspiration here on UA-cam in the days and weeks to come!
