Like 40. Such a lovely place to walk! I really like the atmosphere and emotional environment on this particular day. Yeah, must be powerful waters / tides to move those big logs around each time - and reshape the coastal front. I also enjoyed the beautiful birds - friend!

That beach looked like a nice smooth beach aside from the driftwood. Plus no worries of getting trapped during a tide. Hi and thanks Steve! It’s a great beach, I’d love to visit and chill with a picnic in the summer. I read that it used to be a State Park with a blacktop road, but that they’ve re-wilder it for the birds and other wildlife 👌😄

Hi Gerry! It sure is relaxing to stroll by the ocean! This area is a really nice spot, and at low tide there are lots of rocks and shells to admire. You certainly have a wonderful shoreline in Ireland! 😄💙💙 Cheers, Jen

Oh wow! What a beautiful place! It is so gorgeous! It looks so peaceful there! That’s incredible that y’all have a Native American boundary for the natives. It kinda sounds like our Cherokee Qualla Boundary here! The natives deserve the bestest of respect. :) Thank you so much for sharing Jennifer!!
Hi Gracie- I totally agree with you! It's important to appreciate and respect our friends of native ancestry. There's quite a lot of history to learn, and I love seeing the old photos and the elders' faces! Thanks so much - Jen :)
Loving this walk along this spit of beach for sure!! Gotta watch them tide times I'm supposing...something that is always on my mind with Otis and I on the shore! What a great day! Awesome stuff! Have a wonderful weekend now!
Hi Bruce and Otis- you’re sure right about the tides! I think there’s enough high ground here to not get totally covered at high tide, but I wouldn’t want to risk it. I’ve seen enough of how the water and waves can toss these huge logs around like sticks. It’s clear that they had a big storm recently that must have moved tons of sane along with the logs! It sure turned out pretty… I hope I can go back when there are more birds around! 👌💙🩵 Have a fun weekend! - Jen
Hi, Jen! The seaside is always worth a walk, isn't it? We enjoyed the views, the wideness, the permanent noise of the waves, the clouds and the busy activities of the sea birds. The video was very relaxing, indeed. Thx for sharing and have a great time, Christiane and Werner
Hi Christiane and Werner- o yes, I always enjoy visiting the seashore and taking a long stroll on the sand. It seems to be especially nice in the winter when there are less people. This area is special for nesting birds... hopefully I can visit again sometime in the spring/summer and see the area in a different season. :) Thanks! Have a great week- Jen
That was a great opening sequence to your video, Jen. It had a real professional vibe. 👍 I would have loved hiking all the way to the point. I also appreciated the thoughtful acknowledgement of the Indigenous peoples of the area. Awesome video. 👌👍 - Daryl
Hi and thanks Daryl! I would have loved to visit or live in the area back in the day! They tell about how plentiful the salmon were, plus other wildlife … I’d have loved to see the northwest untouched by Europeans, roads and logging. I read that this Point used to be a state park with a road, but they’ve been working to store it to a natural setting. Have a great weekend, Jen 😄☀️☀️
Love these types of ocean walks. Beautiful ocean sounds and birds and it was nice to see the blue skies too in the winter. Happy Sunday! Take care, Jennifer!
Hi, thanks! It's so nice to get out to the coast once in awhile! I really enjoy hearing the surf and strolling along the beach. You too, take care and have a great week! :)
What beautiful views... and the walk on the beach is just magical. The power of the ocean comes right through the screen. So much fun exploring with you Jennifer... 😊 Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend ✌️
Thanks Jim, you too! Not quite like your big lakes, but maybe a little similar. I love the sound of the surf and seeing the rocks and shells along the beach… thank you! Jen 👌🩵💙
Hi and thanks John! The coastal driftwood is really amazing. The winter storms really toss it around. Always gives the beach a fresh look. Have a great week- Jennifer
Hi Mekay, thanks! I’m always happy to learn more about the native peoples who have lived here for so long. Many of the local rivers are named for them… I wish more places kept their original names too. Isn’t it an interesting place to stroll along the beach - thanks! ☀️☀️☀️😄💕💕
Beautiful seashore and nice shots at the point. Like seeing what washes up and seeing the birds eat in the sand. The shot of the clouds with the sun shining through was splendid. Kind regards from Mike at that place. Wishing you a fantastic day coming to you Jenn👍
Hi Mike- isn't it wonderful to walk along the beach! This one is pretty relaxing, especially in the winter. I hope the CA beaches didn't have too much impact from the recent rains. It's sad to see the beautiful bluffs eroding away, but that's normal weathering I guess. You too- have a wonderful day! :) Jen
Always nice to take a stroll with you along the rugged and wild Pacific North-West beaches from the comfort of my armchair here in Japan. Those of us that know some of those places, have a nose for the different sea breezes and ocean scents that are part of the wonderful outdoor experience. Thanks for the smell of home!💦⛵
Ah, you're very welcome- thanks for joining me! Aren't the PNW beaches wonderful! Many of ours aren't busy even in summer, since the water is so cold... but this one is near Ocean Shores which is pretty flat and is a popular summer vacation area. I think my favorite time to visit is in the winter. I'm sure you have some amazing beaches near you in Japan!! :)
Hi and thanks Raymondo! Me too- it's such a relaxing atmosphere at the beach! This one has lots of pretty rocks and shells, quite a bit of them are broken, so it's great to find some that are still whole!! Have a great week- Jennifer
Hello Jennifer. Great walk on the beach at Damon point. I love all the beautiful views and sounds of the sea. So interesting to see so much driftwood on the beach. It was also great to learn about the Quinault people. Love the vintage pictures. Have a nice weekend my friend.🙂🙂
Hi and thanks Gasper! This beach is a great place for walking, especially at low tide... pretty shells and rocks, plus peaceful views. I'm always happy to learn more about the native peoples too. Sometimes they reprint postcards with historic photos- I love to see their faces! You too- have a great weekend! :)
Just having morning coffee at Ocean Shores with you Jen 😃So gorgeous, you know we love the beach so much, always walking on one near our house. You were out early, it looked lovely wild I do love to see driftwood in the sand. Loved what you told of the Cannult people and their lives and descendants, so interesting and the walk you for South East and finishing the loop was lovely. So nice that you saw the blue skies and sunshine and the little birds in the sea were adorable. Stunning place and footage 👏👍~ Anna ❤
Good morning dear Anna! I’m so happy you love walking along the beach too! There’s always something interesting to see with the surf and sky! What shells do you find? So many along this beach are tossed and broken, fun to see some whole ones. I’m happy you enjoyed hearing about the native peoples - their lands got invaded like Wales… and many other areas. Always good to learn history and appreciate those we came before. Thanks! - Jen 🩵💙
@@JenniferLupine Yes I love the history too. I don't know what the names of shells are, but we have different ones on different beaches here, I always pick one or two of them and some stones if they shout out at me ! I've got a basket in our conservatory with them all in and I also have done some pieces of driftwood, I like having the beach inside our house 😃
I don’t know the names of the shells, either… maybe with the internet I can figure some out. O yes, Rey nice to have the beach feeling inside! 😄💙💙@@FXWalesAnnaAlf
There were plenty of logs along the seashore and I'm pretty sure that logs were carried by heavy rain from the mountains down to the river and reached to the seashore. Beautiful and lovely seascapes!
I love walks by the ocean and the hear of the ocean roar. I grew up in a little fishing village on the south coast of Newfoundland and when I hear the ocean it always brings me home , meanwhile while growing up I did not appreciate the sounds. Very educational on the background of the original people who lived on the lands I think I saw sea glass at 4:51 my little granddaughter whos not quite 3 loves collecting beach glass at their summer home in Twillingate Newfoundland
Hi, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video and that you love the roar of the ocean too! We have some beaches near here that are known for more beach glass- we love to collect too! Very special that you can teach your granddaughter to love the coast, just like you do! Have a wonderful day! - Jennifer
Hi Mike, thanks! I read that you can see Mount Rainier from here on a clear day! Well, it wasn’t clear enough that day, but I did get a bit of blue sky. Thanks- have a great weekend! ☀️☀️☀️
The ocean shore at Damon Point is beautiful! I love seeing the different things that you came across such at the sea shells, birds and drift wood. Nice to learn about the First Americans in the area as well. Have a great weekend! ~ Anita 😊👍
Hi and thanks Anita! It’s a nice relaxing walk, and plenty of interesting things to see along the way. So many of the shells were broken, it was nice to see some of them intact, and there are lots of cool rocks too! You too, have a great weekend! 😄☀️☀️
Another great video! I miss the beach. Love the sound of the waves. Love the view at 5:20 so pretty. That's a nice area for sure. Cool seashells too. Take care my friend.
Hi- lol, the sailboat has seen better days! It’s a nice peaceful beach- I read that it used to be a state park but they are restoring it to its natural habitat. Thanks!
Enjoyed this beach scenery very much. Loved all the unique looking pieces of driftwood. I saw on the sign that part of the area closes in the summer for nesting birds. We have quite a few beaches in the coast of NJ and DE that do the same thing to try and protect bird habitat. It's so nice to be able to have access to these places in the off-season.
It sure is! I’m thankful to have these habitats preserved for the nesting birds, they need all the support we can give them. Great to hear about the NJ and DE coasts too. Walking out there gives us a good feeling for the tides and wind and the birds’ natural environment! Thanks! 😄☀️☀️
Hi Donna- it’s such a pretty area- nice and peaceful for a stroll 👌 I was excited to see a few whole shells because so many were broken - I’m sure they get tossed and turned with every tidal cycle! Ah, yes, there are lots of native people living in this coastal area- many of the rivers and mountains retain their native names. 👌🌟🌟
Hi Jen! That was a pleasantly relaxed coastal tour! The sound of the waves alone is enough to make you relax... and as a bonus there were great coastal views, driftwood and some bird watching.... Very interesting to learn about the Quinault Indian Nation... Best greetings from Cologne and see you soon :)
Hi Iris and Micha- isn't the sound of the waves wonderful! I really enjoy visiting the coast in the winter when it's not too busy. I always enjoy learning more about the Native Americans and how they lived in harmony with nature here. Thanks! - Jen
Thanks! I always enjoy beach, somehow I generally go in the winter time… since our beaches have cold water we can’t really go swimming, so the winter is just perfect. Have a great weekend! ☀️☀️☀️😄
Fascinating place to walk. That cloud soon blew away and you were able to really enjoy this spit of land. When a child I lived some years beside the sea and loved exploring the beach. I still like wandering on spits and peninsulas surrounded by water. We have been along the Route 101 a couple of times but sadly missed this. Great to get a chance to see this with you though.
Hi Ivor - thanks! I bet it was amazing growing up by the sea - fresh air, sound of the surf and lots of treasures on the beach! That’s great that you’ve been close by, Route 101 is a wonderful drive - it invites you to slow down and enjoy the rugged beauty of the Olympic Coast! The town near this sand spit is called Ocean Beach- it’s a very popular summer vacation destination… so far we’ve only visited in the off-season 👌😄
I thought for a second you might have been on Gilligan's Island as it looked like the SS Minnow@3:15,lol. Great history of the local tribes. Looked like a very peaceful hike Jen!
Wouldn’t it be hilarious to wash up on Gilligan’s Island! That boat sure has seen better days. That was a fun show back in the day. Yep, it was real peaceful, thanks Jim!
What a beautiful place - you sure can see the difference in the waves between the ocean side and the harbor side. Looks like fantastic weather too - great video! Were the little sandpiper type birds sanderlings? I am not great at sea bird ID. 😆
Hi T, I’m not positive on the birds, but I think they were some variety of sandpipers.(My Mac’s PNW field guide lists 5 sandpipers!) One observation I felt pretty sure about is these birds have short bills while others have much longer bills. My next video is from Grays Harbor NWR, I saw more of these same shorebirds there - I labeled them as Sandpipers so I hope that’s general and correct. I read online that sanderlings are a “small, plump sandpiper.” “Sanderlings are large with a thicker bill than Western Sandpipers.” I guess with practice we’ll figure them out, thanks! O yes, the difference between the ocean side and bay side were quite noticeable! 😄🌟🌟
I have seen drift wood before washed up on the shore but never as much as that. Loved the moody clouds and the sun trying to works its way out over the horizon and that looked a real hard life for those Indians who lived there, don't know how todays entitled snowflakes would have coped with a life like that! Apart from one other set of footprints, it looked like you had the whole place to yourself and nice to see the sun finally come out for you, cheers Alan
Good morning Alan- thanks! I know what you mean about entitled snowflakes- they couldn’t imagine the hard life of not being able to order a food delivery on Uber - lol. I love seeing the faces of the Native Americans in the old photos- lots of respect to them! Cheers, Jen ☀️☀️

Oh wow! What a beautiful place! It is so gorgeous! It looks so peaceful there! That’s incredible that y’all have a Native American boundary for the natives. It kinda sounds like our Cherokee Qualla Boundary here! The natives deserve the bestest of respect. :)
Thank you so much for sharing Jennifer!!
Hi Gracie- I totally agree with you! It's important to appreciate and respect our friends of native ancestry. There's quite a lot of history to learn, and I love seeing the old photos and the elders' faces! Thanks so much - Jen :)
The beach views are beautiful and calming.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful sharing!
Greetings from Switzerland
HI, thanks! It's sure relaxing to visit the cost once in awhile! Thanks friends at TT-Travel!
- Jen
@@JenniferLupine I was noticing those logs and was thinking to myself that some powerful wave action must have been seen recently!
It's so quiet there! Thanks for the relaxing walk 👍
It’s nice a relaxing to stroll along the seashore- thanks!! ☀️☀️☀️
Jen 👌🩵💙
Amazing location, just love the driftwood, thanks for sharing Jennifer.
Hi and thanks John! The coastal driftwood is really amazing. The winter storms really toss it around. Always gives the beach a fresh look. Have a great week- Jennifer
I enjoy this walking tour, beautiful nature view
Thank you Jennifer 😍🙏🏾
Hi and thanks Martha! It was a nice morning for a beach walk! Wishing you a happy week! 😄☀️☀️☀️
Love the history of the Quinault 👍 great hike ☝ lots of interesting stuff on the shoreline , Great video as always👍👍😊😊💕💕
Hi Mekay, thanks! I’m always happy to learn more about the native peoples who have lived here for so long. Many of the local rivers are named for them… I wish more places kept their original names too. Isn’t it an interesting place to stroll along the beach - thanks! ☀️☀️☀️😄💕💕
Thank you for sharing a very good video and very useful for all of us, a calming beach
Thanks Erik- isn’t if relaxing to walk along the beach! Have a fun weekend! ☀️☀️
So much driftwood Jennifer. Lovely area! I liked the shells and stones! I always end upnlooking for interesting shapes
Nice beach walk video. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you so much! You too- have a wonderful day! 👍
Beautiful video, Thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it! Have a nice week!
Hi, yes, I think that’s exactly right! Thanks friend! ☀️☀️ Have a great weekend!
- Jennifer
Beautiful walk along the beach.👍👍
Hi Mike, thanks! I read that you can see Mount Rainier from here on a clear day! Well, it wasn’t clear enough that day, but I did get a bit of blue sky. Thanks- have a great weekend! ☀️☀️☀️
Beautiful nature nice hiking ❤😊 8:38
Isn't nature wonderful, thank you!! :)
Thank you for taking me on this great hike. I love the sea and its sound.
There are many different shells and stones at the beach.
Warm greetings!
Hi and thanks Anita! Me too, I love the sea and strolling along the beach! Best wishes, Jen 😄☀️☀️
My eyes are grateful for the blessing that is this incredible content on my screen.
Thanks friend!! 😄☀️☀️
This was such a nice walk. We actually prefer the beach during the winter 😊
Hi guys, me too! It’s usually deserted and more wild! Thanks!
Beautiful!!! Thank you 👏 😍 🤩 👌
Thank you! Cheers! Have a great day! :)
Beautiful scenic seashore and good ambience atmosphere. Thanks for the sharing.New friends here.
Thanks for visiting! Nice to meet you! I'm happy you enjoyed the video- always refreshing to walk along the shore! Have a great week!
That was a superb watch over a coffee Jennifer to centering the sea 🌊
Have a great weekend regards to Steven
Simon 🤠👍
Hi and thanks Simon! I find it so relaxing to visit the seashore and walk along the beach! Thanks, Steven says hi :)
Beautiful place to take a stroll 💕💕👍👍
Hi, thank you! It sure was peaceful! Have a great weekend! ☀️☀️
Lovely walk along the beach and the view is beautiful
Thanks for sharing with us 😊 😀
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! ☀️☀️
Another great video! I miss the beach. Love the sound of the waves. Love the view at 5:20 so pretty. That's a nice area for sure. Cool seashells too. Take care my friend.
It's great to get out to the coast once in awhile- especially in the winter! Thanks Alex!! :)
Nice video film. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching! ☀️☀️🩵
Thanks for nice sharing dear Jennifer
Thanks for joining me Ami! Happy Sunday! ☀️☀️☀️
Looks like a nice peaceful walk around a beautiful area. That sailboat certainly had a rough story to tell.
Hi- lol, the sailboat has seen better days! It’s a nice peaceful beach- I read that it used to be a state park but they are restoring it to its natural habitat. Thanks!
Hello, good afternoon here. Watching now... 🥰
Thanks friends! Have a fun weekend! 😄☀️☀️☀️
Thanks! 😄☀️☀️
Lovely walk, Jennifer! I enjoyed seeing the shells you found in the sand and the little shorebirds. Great history of the area, too. 😊
Beautiful walk on the beach!
Thanks Age! Nice and peaceful! 👌 Have a fun weekend!
Thanks! - Jen
What an awesome place you visited, cool to see a beach walk.
Thanks! I always enjoy beach, somehow I generally go in the winter time… since our beaches have cold water we can’t really go swimming, so the winter is just perfect. Have a great weekend! ☀️☀️☀️😄
excellent . . . well done & thumbs up 👍🎇🔥
Thank you Othmar! 😄💙💙
Good morning sis ..I'm here watching
Morning! 😄☀️☀️
another beautiful hike, Jennifer
Thanks! It turned out to be a nice day for a stroll! 👌☀️☀️☀️
Beautiful
Thank you! Have a blessed day! 🌷🌷
Ein schöner Strand.👍
Grüße von Prignitz Outdoor.
Thanks Eric! 😄☀️☀️
Venho aqui te parabenizar pelo excelente trabalho
Hi friend- thank you! Nice to have you visit! Take care and have a great week!
Beautiful!! Makes me want to book a trip to the west coast, it’s been a while.
It sure is nice, all year long! I’m sure you’d enjoy it if you visit! 😄🩵
Nice video 👍
Thank you! Have a great weekend!
I fall in love with this lonely ocean, i wonder why there are no people around?
Hello! I think because it is winter and a cool morning, there weren't many people at the beach. Isn't it wonderful to have a lonely ocean!! Thank you friend! :)
It was more interesting because it was a concept similar to my channel. It's a beautiful sea. The gradation sky is pretty. Especially, it feels fresh because it feels like a different sea from my country
Hi, nice to hear from you! I’m happy you enjoyed seeing the sea along the Washington coast, and the beautiful sky! 😄🌟🌟
Wow that hike was awesome. Must be hard to get to, but so worth it. Was it decent weather aside from the wind?
Hi, yes, it wasn’t too cold, just a bit windy. The sand was a bit soft in places, but so nice to have a Long Beach walk- thanks!!
My darling Jen! Oh, that's my favorite scenery...The sea! How relaxing and beautiful in any season or weather the sea, the ocean can be, isn'it?
Absolutely beautiful walk, dear. I enjoyed it A LOT and I felt so relaxed and serene watching it. Wishing you a blessed and happy weekend, dear. It's almost the half of February...Springtime is near! HUGS and love and my huge like, as always to you! Renata
Hello dear Renata- thank you! Isn't it wonderful to visit the seashore and take a stroll along the beach! I love hearing the surf and watching the action of the waves. Too bad it wasn't warm enough to sit down for a picnic- maybe I'll be able to go back when it's warmer. Still, I love visiting in the winter when it's not too crowded. O yes, spring won't be long now!! Hugs and love from Washington!! :) Jen
@@JenniferLupine Hi, my dear Jen! Oh, I love the sea in any season or weather. Just mesmerizing! And this location is truly perfect for a relaxing and immersive walk! My Big hug and have a joyful new week! Hugs and love back!! Renata
