Alfa Romeo 1750/2000GTV going full throttle in Rotterdam www.robbertalblas.nl Thanks to Balocco Classics for their great work on the car. robbert_alblas
This is the best car video I have ever watched. I must have watched it now about 30 times and it still gives me goosebumps. The sound of the 1750 overlayed over the music track is perfectly matched and the video footage is so professional. I love the the natural smile on the young guy's face - he's absolutely enjoying the drive as much as I'm enjoying watching it.
@@JohnThomas-be1ck The funniest thing about this comment though is that my dad has clearly written it while being on my (his son's) account by accident - FYI He did end up buying this exact car.
@@rhabarbermarmalade What's amazing is I accidentally commented last night, not using my main account! I'm not even joking!! 🤣🤣 That is amazing to hear that your dad actually bought this car! I just purchased a GTV 2000 that's not nearly as clean as this one however it's Yellow and this video gave me huge inspiration to create my own GTV video! These Alfa's truly are amazing cars!
@@JohnThomas-be1ckMusic is too loud, it’s easy to set up what is called ducking, where audio input from one channel reaching a certain level automatically lowers the volume of another without it being a dramatic change in other words when the signal from the engine noise channel reaches a certain level it lowers the music slightly, music is way too loud particularly because the noise of this particular Alfa model is one of its main points of interest.
In the depths of winter, when your classic is resting under a tarpaulin in your garage, this is the best nearest thing to drive her. Therefore, two years later, I' m here again to confirm this is the best emotional automotive video ever.
Best video ever. Dune is beautiful, but this video is better. It has it all. That describes us petrolheads. That smile of the driver. I never know if I should cry or laugh with emotion. Masterpeace. I am sorry for my English.
I truly can't comprehend the amount of craft and passion that went into making this video, or why it isn't one of the most watched videos on UA-cam, or how it could have been made in 2015. I've been using the website since 2006 and I don't think I've seen a car-related video that even remotely approaches it. Hell, I don't think I've seen a car movie that approaches it. This is truly a marvel and needs to be shared with the rest of the world.
My God... I've no words to describe this Masterpiece I just wached... The passion that runs through our veins, just got visualised... Bravo to you all !! Bravo!!
Robert your videos are fantastic!! Bring me in the past when I was child and with my uncle go fast with his Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Junior 1600..... I see now your video and return back in my mind the sound of the engine and smell of fuel in the car... This car have a soul, real Alfa lovers can understand. Greetings from Italy
I drove a 2000, with such cars you do not need to tell the driver to smile. Your effort to capture the driving experience really paid off, wonderful footage. Ciao!
Authentic art. So pleasant to the eye and ear. Thank you and please don't stop making such good videos any time soon. In a world governed by silent engines and bad music this is a like a well timed breath of fresh air.
Wonderful. This has been my 3:23 gift time, today. I do have a GT as well, I can understand the smile in the face of the driver. This car is wonderful, nobody can understand until they drive it. Great video, great choice for the music.
I think we both know the answer is probably no...there have been a few enjoyable cars here and there in the 80s and 90s...hell even in the 2000s but I'm pretty sure nothing beats the beautiful machine we saw in the video. Check out the FIAT X1\9 a very interesting mid engine RWD project from Bertone in the late 70s and early 80s, as for the rest it's all been front wheel drive cars in the last 30 years or so...the FIAT Coupe 20v was a beast and the Barchetta also enjoyable togheter with the latest Alfa GTV, GT (which I owned), the beautiful but useless Brera (which I currently drive) but again nothing compares to the glory of the 50s, 60s and 70s. the *4C* though...
@@ProNexusGamingdon’t know what your budget is, but in my experience most Alfas have the spirit that makes the brand great. That is: quick steering, an engine that loves to rev and not much nannying. Even a beat-up old 145 has a peppy twin spark and will happily skate around a corner with one wheel off the ground.
Nice! Remembering the day's I had a junior in Rotterdam. Best surroundings and design a man can have. But unfortunately it also makes me longing for an alfa nord again. The sound of an gt1300/1600 junior or 1600 biscione is undeniable one of the most classic sounds ever.
You seem to have a unique talent for highlighting the essence of each car, im a huge petrolhead and i can believe i just now found your channel, keep it up 😁
Thats my top favorite video with my top dream car. It totally gives you the message that the perfect car for you is not about if its practical, playful, fast or beautiful. It's all about giving you that smile on your face whenever you're taking it for a drive. Such an incredible video ❤❤❤🍀🍀🍀
Such a great film. Iconic Car. Pure perfection. Period. p.s. I would like to express my gratitude to Robert for his hard work. Also big shoutout to the car owner.
Heel herkenbaar.
my Alfa was a 1969 GTV 1750...I had the engine rebuilt by a Ferrari mechanic...stroked the engine out to 2000cc's I kept the car from 1970 to 1979 then due to travelling for work, the car sat alone for 4 years...I had it towed away.........I cry everytime I watch this vid......

The most pure car video ever existed on UA-cam.
Absolutely fantastic; Alblas makes the best ever classic car film :)
And a spirited young man at the wheel - the future is safe!
Still one of my all time favorite classics. Eventually I'll get one in a few years.

Watched this video 100 times, one of the very best on youtube! And one of the best Alfas I've ever seen!
This to me is one of the very few videos that perfectly captures what passion for driving and cars is about. Awesome
Amazing soundtrack (through the night-the digital age)&
A proper driver's car

My word.... Robbert! It's one thing to see and hear a GTV, you took this to a whole other dimension of beauty. Bravissimo!
It's incredible...beautiful! A word...Alfa! Thanks from Italy!!

A young man driving around a beautiful ochre Alfa GTV 1750...a youth well spent, hats off to you.
Yes indeed an I'm a youth in love with this car do you have any ideas of a more modern car that gives the awsome driving exeriance like this?

Robbert sos un BESTIA! CRACK! Brillante. Felicitaciones!
One of the most "alfa" alfa videos I've seen. Makes the point better than most reviews where someone talks about the car
This is the best car video on the planet, no competition
Rotterdam and a GTV, cant get much better!
Giorgetto Giugiaro was 22 when he penned the design for this Alfa. This video captures the spirit perfectly 👌
One word. Wow!
Lookin' at your other videos, you my sir earned a subscriber.
When a video can be the exact definition of freedom... Just fantastic!
My dream car. Stunning video. Goosebumps every single time I watch it.
Great editing Robert. Great Alfa too, my favourite marque.
Two great songs, I keep listening to the two artists over and over, and I finally have my vote. Mr Romeo wins.
Awesome cinematography, and awesome car!
Truly statisfaying to see amateur people create such perfected content. I wonder if he used drones in some of the footage, i think so.
What a superb video!!!! I'm totally speechless, this sucks the best advertising of new cars. Great job!!
Fantastisch! Echt onwijs mooi. Kan hier non-stop naar kijken
What a great video, helped to pull me trough the build of my Alfa Romeo GTA-R!❤🍀
I'm hooked to your channel mate, everything is so damn cool to watch, you nailed on this one again!
Can't believe I haven't seen this already! Fantastic!
