Well-done, informative video that I got recommended :) I think the Carmarthen-Aberystwyth and Pwllheli-Bangor lines should re-open (I know the former has been looked into) You deserve way more subscribers! I might put your channel on my featured tab assuming that's alright...? :)
That would be amazing full devolution and hopefully independent country in the near future I'm learning Welsh and never been to North Wales because it seems so far especially with the bizzy work life iv got I think if the railway line were more convenient more welsh people would travel bk and forth
Well, there used to be North-South until the mid 1960s. We need the Menai Bridge - Afon Wen & Aberystwyth - Carmarthen routes back. They will return, but hope it's sooner than later.

If you take in to account all the Welsh heritage & narrow gauge ,railways ,wales is more connected than it appears . It wouldn’t take much to link many of them up & add some new or reinstate some old ones . Proper steam powered trains of course .🚂
Hmm true, The Welsh Marshes Line is the closest thing but as covered, still goes through - and ends up - in England. Is physical geography not the reason for this lack of a main north-south arterial railways? Lot's of hills and mountains in Wales.
I hope that the powers that be will invest and give your country the network it so desperately needs. Particularly now with the rise in use of fossil fuels, modern railways are vital.
