Looks delicious, the way i like it simple.
You iut a lot of effort, great work!
What did you think abt the electric wok? Worth using again or better in a pot on the stove?
Oh that looks so good! ❤️
Tomorrow night! 😋
I just made this tonight. The flavor is delicious but it was too salty for my husband and me. I'll use lower-sodium soy sauce next time and omit the salt on the protein. I really do think that the next time I make this, I'll use velveted beef flank and beef bouillon instead of the chicken.
I added a red pepper and some baby corn (that had been soaked in clear water to remove the canned flavor). The extra veggies added a bit more color. I'll definitely make this again with the sodium adjustments because it really was quite tasty otherwise.
I heard you can use sherry cooking wine to replace Chinese cooking wine if ya want?? Also, would a little fish sauce be good in sauce broth? I don’t have oyster or dark soy so I thought hmmmm
I'm guessing that I could do this with flank steak, too. Just swap out the meat and the bouillon flavor? Looks yummy either way. I was going to make Tuscan chicken this week but I might switch gears and cook this instead as I love stir-fry.
If you like to try to gear, you may like an induction wok. I bought one a few years back when I moved into a home with no kitchen gas line and because I don't like flat-bottom woks. It gets up to 575°F. It is basically retired now since I went ahead and had a plumber install a line and got myself a new range (one of the gas burners is 23K BTU!) But I still get it out on occasion when I have company so I can cook at the peninsula and chat with them instead of facing a wall nearly the entire time.
I make mine with more veg (onion, bell peppers, carrot, broccoli, and celery and less chicken, and I have homemade bone broth as a base for the sauce. I make enough for three meals because I live alone, and I want leftovers! I eat my stir-fry with a bowl of steamed brown rice.
Feel free to invite me, Lol
I’ll bring dessert 👍🏻🍮
Greetings 👋🏻♥️😊
Lol n i ll bring appetizers
@@EternalBliss74 of course, 😁👍🏻
The spoon you are using doesn't look large enough to be a tablespoon. Serving spoons hold a tablespoon. Soup spoons hold 1/2 a tablespoon and regular spoons such as for eating dessert are a teaspoon. I know because I measured them all out once. You can too. Don't take my word for it, Also buy dry sherry from the liquor store to use for your cooking wine or dry vermouth when white wine is called for . It TASTES SO MUCH BETTER than anything labelled "cooking wine".
Mmmm this looks fantastic. Going to my Amazon to order this wine now lol (HMart is an hour from me 😮)
I always add 1/8 tsp baking soda for 1 lb. I don’t rinse. Less is best. Especially if you massage & toss the meat.
Not a fan. Came out tasting like baking Soda and I followed the recipe exactly. :-/ not sure what I did wrong.
Loos like soup
Almost perfect, but you have added too much broth and you should've rinsed off the baking soda after 30 min sitting, then add all of your special ingredients...😅😇🙏
Call me dumb, but, why the starches?
Thickening the broth.
Looks so good! I want you to know that you’ve taught me so much over the years. I use your methods every time I cook for my family.🩷
