Just picked up a 91 Stealth R/T TT about two months ago! These cars and very finicky and most of the issues seem to be cause from the previous owners. Hopefully you can get your vr-4 running right! P.S. definitely do a boost leak test. I've already found and fixed 5 different leaks and the car runs a lot better now.

You should start Tracking with this car after the Transmission issue is fixed. Stock/Lightly modified cars will give you the best experience. Keep making more content !

put sealant around the wire coming out of the fuel tank (the red one) otherwise the fumes can escape and cause a huge fire with that current flowing to the fuel pump.
I’ve been subscribed for some time when I was looking into getting an eclipse. But then I came across a dodge stealth rt tt with many issues. It was 3000 but we are rebuilding the motor. Was wondering if u could link the fuel pump that you used bc I might need one in the future? Also, keep up the great work!!👍
Can you do a video on how you wired the edm lights on the dsm? I see the forums have more than just switching the housing like you just did with the VR4
o i have an idea about how happy you are. i was that happy when my VR4 turned on after 3 years of not starting and i changed the fuel pump. i went the with the AEM 340LPH tho. didnt run the hot wire but im thinking that i should.
Within the mistake you are making you don't ever leave the fuse wire relay expose with the other wires. The fuse relay is suppose to be far apart from the other wires which will prevent you from detonation
@@MiguelDsm not all that easy. Hardest part to pull one is the rear exhaust manifold. You have to pull the rear engine mount off the engine which is a bitch to get off then you can remove the manifold..Mine came apart easy because mine being an SL and i had headers already on everything had been apart atleast once before so everything wasn't rusted on there.
@@MiguelDsm alot of your removal process is removing your intercooler piping, and diconnecting your AWD system to get at your transmission. Also to get to your rear header you have to pull the driver side CV axle out as well. And your alternator/accessory belt has to come off to get access to your front exhaust manifold and turbski.
Thanks for the video. I bought a 3000GT but it was modified to comply to Europe specs since the owner shipped it and used it in Germany. The issue is that the rear signal lights work only when turned on. Do you have any idea to get them work all the time to their stock US specs?

Hell yeah brother get that work in!! I personally hit up 3sx for most parts and then it is mostly diy for me. I have a few things I have done to mine that might help you out but the big question is what are the goals for the vr4? Daily driver GT track car, drag racer?
I noticed 3sx has a lot of things for this platform. I want something clean and simple with a good power output for street use. Not sure if I would ever track it. Maybe drag a couple times to see how it does

As a European those ambers are horrible looking , but I guess everyone wants to be unique 😉 I like the usdm all red but red I know red turn signals do not work very well, people dont see them.
You gotta invest in some time to wax the car so you can just wipe it down. I'm assuming you'll just get full pain job and just wash it every few months.

STM sells fuel pump hangers with an fittings for the vr4. Only thing is that they are really pricey....

I believe STM or Boostin Performance has a bulk head fitting style to an for the fuel lines.

Pulled the engine out of mine. Tore it down to the block to do a full all motor build. Can't wait to see you do more to the vr-4
