For the past ten years or so I've really wondered if Mitsu has paid attention to the awesomeness of these cars. And if will they ever build anything near amazing as this..... Prob not. We all know car culture is dying.... :-( E-cars are not a car lovers genre.
A 4g63 swap would be sick! What kind of power do those stock vr4 motors hold tho? Has to be more than a 4g63.
Vr4 are around 320hp on a good day
4g63t around 210hp
@@Kmk98- I mean stock as in what the motor can handle before they break a piston ring or bend a rod. My galant 4g63 made 435awhp with a stock motor and head.
I think 400-500 on bigger turbos and supporting mods. I’m just more comfortable with the 4g63 over 6g72

Get a digital boost controller alot safer than a manual tap. Car is great looking 👍🏻🏴 everyone always says add more power because it looks good on paper. Running 350bhp - 400bhp is plenty fast for road use on standard turbos surprises most cars on the road.

Love your car, the mistu is such a under rated car with all its mind blowing technology that is only just now taking off. I bought a 92 dodge stealth r/t tt 10 years ago with a bad engine from chicago and had it shipped to northern minnesota and had a new longblock from 123engine put in it. The head was mistorqued and the car is in the shop now getting a headgasket on a new engine with less than 1k miles because its been sitting 4 years. Hopefully mine will be driving in a few weeks. To do. fuel pump, fuel tank clean, fix seats, new rims and tires. It sat so long there was rust in the steel fuel lines which took me replacing the filter and pulling injectors and cleaning them out several times before the head gasket blew 4 years ago.

Reliable but things break. I’ve had a 91 stealth rt for like 2 years. It always has something wrong but the car has NEVER failed me. Never broken down. Nothing.

Nice, are you on a stock clutch? With more boost I'd look into a ACT 2600 to handle the power... Looks good, comming along
Clutch feels stiff but not sure if the previous owner ever changed it out

Love the vr4 content and miguel I know it takes Alot of work to make the videos but maybe 20 min videos if possible. Always gonna watch and support no matter what keep grinding.
Definitely need to work on that. A full day of filming usually ends up in a 10-14 min video. Guess I should start adding more random things

Oh btw got my 3000gt up again along with a rollcage welded in. Now im like wonder whos faster your Vr-4 or my all-motor Sl. pretty sure your horsepower eeks out but my car weighs about 2700lbs.

@@MiguelDsm yea i think cusco makes one. Mine is a weld in cage from rhode's race cars. but be warned you gotta do a bit of fab work to get it in. They made everything but the main hoop too long to fit.
Currently looking at 525 hellcat fuel pump and 2150s injectors just waiting to go into my GSX. 😂 I’m so jealous I can’t work on my car as often as I like. Great job keeping the dream alive bro!

I JUST got mine boosting hard again right as you upload this, i also just did a ton of maintenance all at once, our cars are looking very similar too, keep up the grind.

If your boost gauge is on the wastegate side of the manual boost controller it won't read correctly until you're at higher boost levels. So you won't be able to read vacuum or part throttle boost.

@@MiguelDsm got in high school and saved and worked my butt off to get a new rebuilt tranny from 3sx, stage 3 clutch. Solid mounts, coil-overs/drilled Breaks, full bolt ons to breath. 3in all the way. I wanted to do the 99 conversion next and work on some cosmetic things and that summer my first year of college was more final year. Rip Delilah
