Plant some food folks. I`m adding 14 fruit trees to my food forest soon and more before the year is done...two types of figs, dwarf everbearing mulberry, pineapple guava, and 10 strawberry plants. Martha Washington asparagus and artichoke patches are being planted too. I`m getting some quackers and cluckers too for comedy pets and eggs. You can plant green onions from the store and harvest the green tops over and over until they bloom and give you free seeds and plant the dry peas and beans sold for food...even dry popcorn. All of it is heirloom seeds 100%. Plant some store potatoes and garlic. That`s what I`ve done. Black eyed pea leaves are...drum roll please....40% protein! Root the romaine lettuce from the store, let it grow and bloom, and collect the seeds to replant. A store can be a gold mine if you know what you`re looking at. Strawberries grown in USA have good seeds to start a patch with.
Get a couple of shortwave radio receivers with SSB for tuning international HAM bands. When internet goes you will have a source of unfiltered info. Master using it and get a long spool of antenna wire and a ground rod. Tecsun PL-330 is great and there are other nice ones. Get extra rechargeable batteries and external charger for it (in case its charging port fails...redundancy) and at least a 30w folding solar panel with charging ports. Or get a 12v car charger that can be direct wired to a real panel.
I am so glad you mentioned the biolabs.....notice how quickly that disappeared. Not the same laws over there as over here, less regulation, less oversight, more ability to develop what you can't in your homeland. Russia targeted some of those and confirmed their existance. Those labs cannot be ignored.
