As in Europe, US did not appear on the shore to help but to secure occupation of the territory and to impose their government. People were fooled by friendly propaganda, same in China, US had fueled expectations, the dismay was terrible but the response was clear :never on us terms! Korea lost its southern half.

It seems that Orlov forget that China sent 3 millions volunteers to save North Korea from USA aggression in 1950 and lost 300.000 soldiers in that war. Even the son of Mao died in that war. Stalin was very slow to react to that war because he was afraid the US could nuke the URSS. On the contrary Mao didn’t doubt a minute that the Korean War had to be won and was won.

About the US "debt"; 40% of all treasuries are intragovernmental (state/local/Federal reserve). A further 24% are owned by foreigners (govts and private entities), and since this money is going abroad, it doesn't cause consumer price inflation at home (it might as well be on the moon). A further 15% are owned by banks, who only use treasuries as Tier 1 collateral.
In other words, 80% of outstanding treasuries cause little to no consumer price inflation, even after maturity where the derivative dissolves into cash holdings.
The biggest driver of price inflation is the 500% ballooning of M1 (a measure of the money supply) from 2020 onwards; it's no wonder Americans are paying more for energy, groceries etc.
No sovereign country borrows to finance fiscal expenditure (EU countries excepted since they are not sovereign, due to arbitrary EU fiscal caps)

Ha! I the "martian artillery" moniker that the NV are using is quite interesting. Wonder if there is some sort of soft admission in this maybe 😂?
Russia should ask for gold from India as payment or some other resource rather than piling up the rupees.
I always watch these discussions with the greatest pleasure which is odd because i am an amerikan.

Can we have the edited versions from the start in future. I'm sure that Nima is getting too many great guests to find the time to edit them all. But that is largely because the previous videos were so tightly edited and improved as a result.
But viewers only have so many hours available to watch.
4 hours of recording and 4 hours of output is still only going to result in 1 hour of watching by a viewer.
2 hours of recording and 2 hours of editing to get 2*30 mins of output AND 2*30 mins of watching will get Dialogue Works a lot more views in the long run.
I say this because I loved the shorter, tightly edited and less frequent videos.
And I absolutely hate having to choose which guests to choose not to listen to.
(and I only work 9 hours a week)
Also do we need to ask the same questions to every guest rather than concentrate on their special knowledge (which we get with Richard Wolfe)
Dialogue works is rightly famous now - you can afford to filter or even turn down guests.

And the US economy/GDP consist of a lot of air, for example a huge financial sector producing actually nothing. And without massive new loans every year since 1946 and without QE so called loans from the FED the US GDP/economy would crash. China, India and Russia actually produce stuff. What does the US produce besides weapons? Look at the manufacturing trade deficit! Almost 1 trillion dollars per year. Just wait until the Petrodollar falls....

    • @morfeicheg

That's because organisations, which provide statistics for GDP are under US influence. Also most of US economy consist of financial bubbles and machinations in stock markets. If you count the real material things that the United States produces, most likely its economy will be even smaller than the economies of India and Russia.

Actually, sending a test missile to a specific spot in the ocean isn't a bad idea. Only the DPRK knows exactly where they aimed and if the missile went there. The USA watching the flight have no idea what the target is so have no idea how accurate it is. The joker laughs.
