Yeah, I remember that, that sure feels like a long time ago. I try not to do that anymore, just let the voting be a thing of its time and let the music last. But this is a song I first got into fairly recently and is now one of my faves, hence why I felt like uploading it. 1980, a bit of an oddball silver anniversary for the contest, did have a lot of good songs in it (some of my faves being the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany). I do have the Netherlands uploaded; I might consider the other two.

O meu amigo de Islándia the quality of this video is far to superior to any that Ive seen of ESC 1980 on YT. Do you have similar for Germany, Netherlands & Denmark? After your comments about the divergence of our tastes in 2012 I looked back to our early YT days when we frantically voted on contests. But neither of us included this in our T10. Depsite the comments on Tasos recap I think this was a really good year, many good songs.
