beside the great music, your Iridium content is the best on UA-cam!
The class you have in doing things is unmatched. A hug🎉😂❤
Thanks Martin, that was really useful, and interesting. It doesn't have to be the Iridium to make these, as these recipes can be taken to many other instruments. That's lucky for me, because I don't have an Iridium! The Hydrasynth or Opsix would be my weapons of choice here I think.
Fantastic tutorial. I have always wanted to learn the proper way to make the dub techno “stab” sound. The subtle modulation and delay tricks are so great. Thanks Martin!
Thank you! This should easily translate to your Hydra or the software that you use!
Fantastic tutorial thank you for doing this! I was one of the people who voted in your survey for more sound design tutorials! Appreciate listening!
Thank you for the tutorial always something to learn and apply.
Thanks for sharing your Sounddesign Martin!
Fantastic tutorial. Really loved the in-depth sound design on the Iridium.
Step one: cat! But on a serious note, thank you so much - I’ve been waiting for your take on this. I love my quantum for dub sounds.
Parameter sequencer mode! Have not investigated that, thanks for the tip, Martin!
I really love your music. Thank’s to share your knowledge.
Lovely work! Danke Martin!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks for doing this.
Danke Martin
Really useful for me ! Thanks a lot for this tuto.
Thank you Martin! Love your Work!
Great. Thanks a lot
Thank you for this, great ideas to sort through on my iridium.
I didn't know that the Iridium can modulate parameters with the sequencer. So thanks for that pro tip! Really helpful :)
That is really one of my favourite features!
Fekkin awesome Martin!! So interesting...
Would love to see more vids like this from you!
Great job 👏🏻 many thanks 🙏🏼
Awesome!!!!
This is Dub Techno****Love it***Thx Martin
love it, thank you so much :)
THANKS!
Cool tnx!
Great tutorial. Could you get similar modulation capabilities with the Waldorf M?
Thanks for the vid. Nice to see your workflow and tips.
Man, if you keep up with this you're going to convince me to buy one. I just wish for the price that it supported MPE.
Edit: I see the 3.0 beta supports it 😶
Do you have a MPE keyboard? I did not use MPE yet but I see the potential.
@@MartinStuertzer It's going to be my next purchase. I want to see what Seaboard's new product is first. It might be my big purchase of the year. Realistically after that my MPE synths will have to be VST's or a Micromonsta 2 for awhile since this is just a hobby for me.
Perfect! Lets make the virus ti version of this video 😎
Oh, I created tons of sounds like this on the Virus but the result would sound much like the sounds I showed here or in the Rev2 video. :)
👍
Very Nice Martin. Thanks for that tutorial, so minimal. I have a question regarding your midi clock. I know your primary audio interface is an RME and you ADAT your Apollo in to it. Does your RME midi goes straight in to your MOTU or do you use an additional external clock to sync all of your rig? In other words, is Ableton the true midi master in your setup? Thanks in advance..
You are correct regarding my audio interfaces! But all midi is running through the Motu Midi Express which is connected with USB directly to the computer. The RME does not do any midi. All clock signals come from Ableton through the Midi Express 128.
@@MartinStuertzer Interesting. Thanks for answering!
mine doesnt sound like that at all-where did you get the waveform for osc 1 and 2 ? thank you.
CAT!!!!
could you techinically map the delay to change in the mod matrix just like you did for the seq parameter 1? but just have it as seq parameter 2?
Yes, it is possible to modulate the delay speed or mix ratio in the mod matrix. You can then change it with any mod source like LFO, envelopes or the mod sequencer.
@@MartinStuertzer just tried it, brilliant
hi! I wanted to buy this piece of hardware for a long time , how is it
Hi! I have the Iridium for 1,5 years and work with it almost every day. I can recommend it!
Grüße an Neptun! An dich aber auch! ;)
Miau!
very Elek Monomachinig 8:59 nicht ganz soft wie der Iridi aber ähnlich
Tea is good…..but not ON the Iridium
No accidents since 2007 here!
