I love this! It is a great tutorial, I love these types of sounds and it was great to see your approach to making them on the Quantum. Please consider doing more of these tutorials. More dub sounds, maybe sound fx. Or consider making a whole track with the Quantum. Great work!

Will the Iridium sound very similar even though there is no true analog filter?

Hey i can't seem to load the sample specifically in to osc 2, only able to access sample via global section, any tips?

Boring. There are lots of videos of many synths being able to generate that kind of tunes. Would you please show next how to create some brutal hardcore techno / gabba with massive bassdrums etc? Unfortunately discussion always ends with an advice to use VST etc :(

      Not boring to everyone.
Perhaps try not be rude and I think they‘d be more likely to listen to your requests.

@@breslin44 Also cat videos are not boring to everyone and there are tens of thousands of them. Should not we all be grateful? Sadly however I choose my words or how nicely I put them, it has zero effect to the instrument capability or its designed puropse. Of course it is challenging or even close to impossible to create something specific on something it was not orginally designed for. Maybe I am just way too pessimistic, I could be the nicest person or a even a brother of waldorfs product manager but that wont make impossible possible. Other than that, sure everything else can be done on hw discussion can continue. As long its dub, house, atmospheric etc everything is fine. Its just that the instrument dictates a certain style of electronic music and sets the rules. As long you are not in conflict with your boss (your instrument) it plays nicely with you and gives you results it thinks you deserve to have. Begging wont help.
There is a clear reason why I heard about only 2 artists in a world who create hardcore on hw synths and why there is literally 0 demo videos of such on youtube, but hundreds and thousands of others. I am not expecting a brutal bassdrum coming out from a piano or a flute, but for some reason it seems to be a taboo in hw synths world. It is easier to highlight opposing comment to a critical one rather than prove the critical one wrong.

@@ImInTheDarkHere The goal of this series is to show the musicality of the Quantum by replicating famous sounds. The Quantum/Iridium is a beast and is capable of literally everything. Herein lies the True challenge, because you can overcomplicate things.

I don't know of any other synth with the sonic capabilities, versatility or ability to covert my imagination in the sound I design into reality, the Quantum is untouchable. If you are interested in synthesizers I find it incomprehensible that you could find this video boring, it's really well conceived and presented. I've had my Quantum for over a year now, and use in every day, but always find something in these videos to experiment with.

Yes, many other synths can do this kind of sound. But it's still a nice tutorial.
