how do you open the hood when the inserts cover the key hole?

they make special grill inserts to accommodate aftermarket hood locks but can also modify these to make it work im pretty sure

Would these cause overheating? I just had them installed but I’m worried my jeep woudl overheat. I use it as a daily/highways I don’t off-road it

I haven't had any overheating issues with them, but I am thinking of removing them! Thanks for watching!
