I thought about purchasing one of these , but after purchasing a CS Master hunter / VG-1 Sanmai , I changed my mind . I never use my Master hunter because it is VERY difficult to sharpen and will not hold an edge . I am glad your knife is working for you Mr. Nguyen . Thanks for your video .
I love the feel and balance of my CS Master hunter / sanmai , but I am going to send it back to CS and get a newer one made with CPM 3 V .Believe me -> I definitely know how to sharpen knives and the heat treatment on this one is Not Good . I performed a Rockwell hardness test in 3 places on the blade . The results were 49 to 51 . Too soft I still have an original CS Recon tanto - high carbon - made in America . Bought it 30 years ago . A great knife after all these years .
Cool video & Thank you .

Cold Steel had some problems with the early Recon Tanto - SRK and others . I have a newer SRK in san mai and have no problems with it .
Nav Star - Have heard the same thing about quite a few people sending their knives back to CS . CS is making a better sanmai knife these days .
I had 5 of CS sanmai, no problem with them, easy to sharpen and hold edge very well, 4 coconuts like Benchmade 154cm.
