My husband works in construction and does everything from framing to drywall, etc. He is sitting beside me and as soon as you said, "Drywallers be like NOOO!!" He said, "What is he doing? Is he putting drywall mud on the wood? NOOO!" Lol 😂😂😂
It's called spackle
Ahahaa! I had the same cringing as a former professional painter when he started laying down latex paint over wet concrete block. It's going to look good for probably a month, and then the concrete is going to start steaming as it fully dries underneath the layers of latex and it will bubble and peel off in SHEETS. That concrete needed to dry with a dehumidifier for at LEAST a week, especially after pressure washing! And then an oil base primer to seal and coat everything to prevent seepage and off gassing!
@@CeeDee-md2vl Not if you’re doing drywall for a living.
Got me thinking; if bought warehouse rather than rent. Couldn’t they afford to have the main rooms prepped professionally; then add the personal touches needed for UA-cam. Probably costs a lot more than I’m imagining 🤷♂️😂
@@CJShopland_Art oh yeah! I'm sure its WAY more than you're imagining. Lol And with inflation right now, multiply that by even more lol I'm sure he could probably technically afford it, but it wouldn't be smart spending when they can do a lot themselves. They will save over $100,000 AT LEAST by doing all this stuff by themselves. That's a very rough estimate and I'm am estimating on the lower end here.
I'm so stoked for you dude. Loved nick's workbench btw!!
Use Bondo instead of wood filler please. It’s easy, durable and sands really well. You might need to invest in a couple of cordless sanders.
Also the door to the merch room could use the commercial PVC strip curtains to keep the dust out. Pallets and cardboard boxes often help dispense more dust so the storing area should be separate from the shipping area or at least use more strip curtains.
This is going to be an amazing learning experience and having a great crew really helps! Good luck!
at minute 12 the Drop of Capricio Arabe in the back is something i appreciate...that is all.
So excited for the new chapter of videos, happy for you bro !
Yo marko 😮 i love you man!
Try using pool bleach mixed with water and a bit of laundry detergent before pressure washing. It helps get the gunk off better. People who pressure wash side walks does this
Oh and on the set walls, run a 2x4 from the bottom corner of the wall out to the support arm on each side, then put casters on the walls. Every production I've worked on has set walls built like that. That was the walls can be moved at anytime by simply rolling the walls to where ever you want.
I really don't understand why Tenhun hasn't hit a million subs yet. He really deserves it!!!!
100% agree!!!
Art is severely underrated and ignored compared to (in my opinion) useless content l that tends to get pushed more by algorithms
I have a bunch of set walls like that that I made. I suggest big wheels on the support legs. Then when you need to move a wall, you tilt it back onto the legs then roll it where you want it to go. That's what we use.
Epic doors incoming !!! This place is gonna be so so sick
This channel moving into DiY building mode tickles all of my fancies 🔥thanks for taking us with you on the journey, great vid 🤩
I can't wait until he custom paints the floor mopper!
The floor scrubber is called a Zamboni.
Also put some 2x4's going sideways on the side of the table where the saw is so your lumber has support when you cut it.
hey, I saw the wall leak problem and full honesty you may wanna tun off the water and see if that does anything to change the river. At the very least you could rule out if it's a plumbing problem or a broken pipe that way! My second suggestion is to check in on the caulking it's this white stuff that seals in your walls where it meets the ceiling (sometimes it can grow old and flake off and let in water) normal hardware stores like home depot and lowes sell it! (Only if you are able to sometimes it hard to see it!) You'll want a bultyl-rubber caulk for that. It also could be that the flashing (a metal seal where your wall meets the ceiling is busted, In some cases older buildings like that can have extremely clogged gutters that are known to cause that issue). I'm not a professional I have done my fair share of dealing with big renovation projects. I hope this helps point you in the right direction and good luck with the warehouse! I hope you guys have fun with it. Stay safe while doing it!
Literally one of the only channels I LOVE watching the sponsored segments for!! Love it!!!!
Facts 😂😂😂
Haha I was just thinking that!
He does them so well 😂
WALL PREPPERS! 😂😂😂
12:31 Damn TenHun, look like an ED-209 straight outta Robocop, hope it don't "FREEZE!!!" your floors. 🤣
22:20 the way the music matched the tool sound was pure artistry
You can absolutely tell what a person is like based on who shows up to help them get work done. Would be happy to hang with you and your homies getting it done anytime.
Holy cow, loving this series, keep it coming 👊🏻
Nick is THE best dude
If you still need to pressure wash the floor. I strongly suggest getting a pressure washer floor scrubber. Will cut your time in half and be a lot cleaner.
It’s coming together so nicely! I love what you’ve done with the lighting in the editing room
I always love your videos, but I love even more how often you use your platform to help lift up other creators. Can not wait to see all the things you are going to do with this amazing studio.
Hell yeah, Wallie the Wallprepper...
Keep it up!!!
While I’m a huge fan of your art videos, I think these are almost more enjoyable for some reason. It’s all about creating in both scenarios, but I love how you’re able to show the bonding and hanging out vibes that really make doing a huge project like this so special. So onboard for this journey and cannot wait to see the progress as you turn this into the space you’ve dreamt of! Respect! ❤❤❤
Hey TenHundred, I’m a fairly new subscriber and currently binging your videos, old and new and meet in the middle. Your supporting community is absolutely beautiful here. I just watched a video ‘How I paint w/ Acrylic’. The way you described your passion for improving your craft was inspired and extremely appreciated. The comments were just as awesome as the video. Just appreciating good communities. Think I might stay for a bit. Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on all of your efforts in community and team building. You’re doing something wonderful.
Bro, I'm so happy for you ♥♥ hope everything get easier as you go Inshaallah ♥
this warehouse is another step to to The Ten Hun Company ... large glassy building with your logo on it
I love the amount of progress being made. The best part I think is the freedom to shape it however you'd like. Congratulations on your progress Ten Hun team!!
You should buy and use a Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner with Wheels, they run around $100 and will do a great job on those floors.
Those musical edits give me life
Love the progress on the new warehouse and excited to see what all you make in it! The only thing that made me worried was seeing someone standing under the nail gun, that could end pretty badly! Be safe out there!
I’m loving these warehouse makeover vids.
I have seen a lot of youtuber moving to a big apartment and just make a reveal video of it and done, but u guys r actually customizing the whole place by yourself which is something really amazing to watch
It's always fun watching things get built from scratch. Onward!
Studs edited to mach the beat - chef's kiss. So satisfying!
WALL PREPPERS! Solid Gold, Peter. Solid...GOLD.
Being one of your employees seems so fun, never know what each day is gonna entail ahaha
Thanks!
Super inspiring. We are a team of two and look forward to getting our first space outside of the home! Way to go!!!!
hi, i used to work on a huge mechanical car shop. To clean the floor we used to use a mixture of sawdust and water in a bucket, then we spread it throughout the entire workshop and swept it with brooms. That's the best way to clean. I hope this will help you the next time ;)
Is coming together. Thanks for bringing us along on the journey!
Instead of sanding the drywall, use a wet rag.. it collects the dust and rubs down smooth ❤
you should paint those arches in the big room some funky color! would make it look sooo much cooler
I know nothing about how to fix the leak. BUT I do suggest getting on the roof and perhaps putting dye into some water and pouring it where you think the leak might be. So maybe you can see if that is where the leak is coming from? Yk, if the colour comes through to the inside
I use the same floor scrubber in the warehouse where I work. Make sure you check the screws for the squeegee/vacuum pully. They can come loose and fall out. Especially the one on the bottom that connects the black cord to the vacuum to lift it.
You should do a bunch of collabs with other youtubers to help complete the different projects needed to finish fixing and updating your new workspace.
Good morning Peter and everyone! Happy Sunday! Have a fantastic week… And Peter, I’m sure you will have THE coolest studio on the planet! I def feel like you should also have a section for. Living timeline of your growth and successes… you can even wrap it around the warehouse!
Ive got a ten year old daughter who loves watching your videos. She often says..."Can we watch Top Ten Hundred?" (Top Ten Hundred). Makes me chuckle. Good luck with the new project. We will watch with interest!
What a challenge! Going well. Let's go for next steps 🤩🤩🤩
Your videos are so entertaining to watch, the humour, the music, all of it. Keep up the hard work!
Hardest working person in the biz! Looking great, Ten Hun. You never fail to inspire... Love your videos. :)
Man, if you can make it happen, I'm willing to come from Canada and help you for a few months to have everything built and set up!
This is a great journey to watch. Such a dream space and so much room in all directions. Skies the limit.
What a massive operation! When Ten 100 goes big!
Wow! So much work and mad progress already! Can't wait to see it evolve into a finished masterpiece!
This series is crazy. I can't even imagine the amount of money you had to pour into this place. It looks amazing!
I love what you're doing with the place. You're building an artist's paradise! Thank you for sharing your process. I'm looking forward to seeing the end results, and most importantly, the art you make within!
It would be cool if, once all is said and done, you break out some champagne and christen the place, or cut the ribbon. Feels like a momentous milestone. You deserve to celebrate.
I'm also curious as to what you will call this grand art den of yours. Surely you will give it a name!
You can use 1x4 instead of 2x4 to make your Hollywood flats (your set walls) lighter weight and easier to carry around if it’s just you moving em!
Really enjoying these episodes. So much space to play and create! Wish you had more help though. The end result will make you feel proud everyday when you enter that space! ❤️
Get a floor attachment for that washer. It’ll take no time at all and save you on water, detergent and fuel.
Money well spent on that floor cleaner machine! Those things are a must have when you have big warehouse floors!
17:40 nice spin!
So much hard work by so many. Respect.
Looking forward to the many many many murals you'll create in the studio. Congratulations.
PS that dirty warehouse floor can be coated with apoxy or even painted. My dad painted our garage floor that way.
I really love "new workshop" videos !
with all that outdoor space you have, you can totally make a bunch of set walls and have your own mural festival with lots of other artists. bring in some revenue too
Would be awesome to see a tenhun mural festival at the warehouse ! So much potential on all that wall space 🔥🔥
As a Maintenance Technician this video was a mix of smh and ooh ooh I wanna help!!! It's amazing watching your dreams come together! Thanks for sharing this journey with us all! SPREAD IT ON!!!
The way this video gave me huge dopamine hits! Love love LOVE everything about everything! Can’t wait to see more 🤩
Can't wait....
Will this look like a massive Gallery, a Museum, a huge Mural? But one thing I'm certain...it's gonna be artistically done!!! 😄
Congrats and God bless all of your endeavors!!!!
You guys are my inspiration for my future studio, THANKS😊
You should paint the floor and then epoxy them! Probably just another huge task but it would look sick
Mini half pipe!!
You're a crafty and smart guy, you can probably fix that outer wall yourself. Start with the roof and try to find where the water is coming in at. Just think like water. Water follows gravity and will find the holes, so overlap what needs it and seal what needs it.
As far as the mold, that will take some PPE and time. Probably lots of Kilz. I'm not an expert there, tho.
Excited to see the end product! Best of luck!
I know it's a bit late now, but I used to work in the motion picture industry. I was a laborer in set construction. The set that you built would have been done with 1"x 3" pine. This makes it much cheaper and much lighter to move around. The luanne was perfect that is what they use.
You're a real one.
Showing support to my favorite person just put you at the top of my favorites list!🤗🤗
You made Chuck's day, man.
Man, this is just as fun to watch as your art videos! You guys are killing it and making incredible progress on this mammoth task!
I love seeing a different side of you and your team as you tackle unique challenges and just goof around together!
Oh, and i just have to comment that the music on this video is the BOMB.
Love this building dreams studio series !!
Very jealous of all that space! Building out the studio and workshop is the best part. Awesome!
I love Wally! So great to see him collaborating with TenHun again! 🥹
Wow, the warehouse, studio, art center, production studio……… is looking great. ❤
Subscriber since few years and so proud of you Peter! Greetings from Germany Big boy 🙏❤️
i'm very happy for you man.. seriously, i could live there forever..amazing place..❤
floor dust. i learned this working in a lumber/house building supply place. wet mulch and push brooms... the dust sticks to the wet mulch add as needed.
also its prob too late now haha but in the future. or for anyone needing to clean dust in a large warehouse or large floor space.
Love it guys!!! Keep smashing it and enjoy the journey.
I love to see people succeed
Truly and inspiration Ten! I am beyond happy for you my guy. I cannot wait to see what you do next!
So much to learn building out a space. So fun to do. At the end, you will be a "maker" as much as painter/musician/artist/dad/biz owner & youtuber! Because once you get new bigger building skillz, use them in your art, of course!
s0o good ! so happy for you guys !
This months shirt looks amazing best subscription I've ever had worth every penny.
I saw little Juniper walking, so cute💜
At the very least, you are learning - I am impressed you are trying to do as much as you can with your team. But seriously, it might be worth looking at at vocational school for advice/potential student help. Could also look into concrete floor art / stain - as a mural artist, there are some fire designs out there.
Team tenhun crushing it..! Love this series and following the progression of your art and channel! I would love to see you add a CNC wood router to the new space like a ShopBot and make some art pieces with it! I’d be happy to help if needed! I’m a High School shop teacher and could get you pointed in the right direction with Makerspace Equipment, Software and tooling! Thanks for all the inspiration and smiles!
So much fun to watch how your pulling your dream together.
All your success is very well earned!
The warehouse project is showing some major progress!! Keep the videos coming!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!1
I'm so very happy for you and all your success.
Could team up with Leggari Products to do a fun custom flooring in one of the rooms! They do epoxy floorings with some amazing colors and designs, even making it look like concrete or wood.
This is crazy man!!! Cant wait to see the art that you create in this awesome space!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I see you have all these clear walls in your space, have you thought of running a competition were your subscribers get to design a mural and then you and your team or everyone gets to vote on the best mural. Then the winner gets to come and paint your wall, just a thought!... Love your videos, keep them coming.
13:11 🎶 francisco tarrega!
