@@CrazyAwesome You need to see Take Hold of the Flame, live in Tokyo. You'll be amazed. But there are so many. My favorites are Another Rainy Night, I Don't Believe in Love, and Eyes of a Stranger. You can't go wrong with the Operation Mindcrime album, in order. It's a concept album and tells a story.
Theye were so talented! Did you try listening to Mindcrime in a single sitting? It's a great concept album! I'd say they went downhill after that. Empire was good. Tribes was okay, but the music changed after DeGarmo left after Frontier 😢
I refuse to see this group touring under the name Queensryche now. No Geoff, no Chris, no Scott... I've seen Geoff three times solo and he still sounds amazing. Not quite like in the day, but great for a 64 year old.
@cherylphillips1361 I saw them on the Empires tour. S__cidal Tendencies opened for them. ST was great. The rest of the show sounded great but Tate clearly dropped the mic and his vocal trac kept going. He stayed on the other side of the stage the rest of the show to avoid all the waving fingers
@@Valkron11 That's certainly a first. I have never once heard anything about backing tracks. I saw them once with Iron Maiden, after Empire, but couldn't get close due to reserve seating. I know that now he changes the show up too much to be able to do that. I've seen him three times and each one was different, vocally. He's had phenomenal nights and then one that was good (not phenomenal by Geoff Tate standards, but still way more talented than other older rock singers lol)
@@cherylphillips1361 I don't think they normally lipsync'd but the Empires tour was more of a production than a concert. For Best I Can Tate was singing while running on a treadmill and playing basketball with a hoop on stage. I can see why they would use backtracks for that but I would have rather just seen them live, without all the theatrics
My favorite vocalist, by far. Geoff is amazing 😍
Oh really?? That's amazing to hear! What's your favorite song by them?

Got it!
Geoff is impeccable
True! He's insanely talented!! 🤩🤩
1983-1988 was Geoff's monster period, I loved their performance at the 1983 concert in Tokyo
@@TobbyAlyaszr7 dude. He sounds like an absolute BEAST!!!! Do you have a favorite Queensryche song???
I have several favorite songs from them including Queen of the Reich, but at their Tokyo concert, maybe I would recommend Blinded, and Nightrider 👍
@@TobbyAlyaszr7 Thank you so much for all the recommendations!!! Will definitely be checking some of these out!!! 🤘🤘🤘
