Nice one Brother Billy! Shame the Ling wasn't bigger - some say they are better eating than Cod. Was out last Friday - a mate had a few nice fish, we got halfway through the flood tide and huge clumps of weed came from nowhere - took the rods & tripod over, so I decided that was it, time for home. Fish on - stay safe & well. 👍👍

Hi brother Billy shame about the cod but it gave you a good Scrap. These hagfish are they seasonal or are they all year round. They really snot your line up alot worse than the boot lace eels.

How's it going brother, the slime is like extremely fine bait elastic, so bloody hard to get off🤬, but with halibut swimming around keep fishing👍😁👌 that's what I say

Hi Paul, it's a petzl ultra, 12 years old, only bought a new battery 2 years back, they are expensive 350 £ , but for time I have it , cost me about 20 £ year. Best light , I have ever had👍

@@Billyfishing_watch USA,..I dont think we have rods like those here. .I see alot of halibut and cod fishing videos from you and others that all use rods like that.
Especialy in Norway
The surf casting rods are for rock fishing and open beaches, they are heavier than the standard rod for clean beaches. Very good if you don't know what to expect. You have surf rods in the US, but these ones, are longer and heavier. You can import them to the US. I can help find some if you like. Hope this helps out👍
@@Billyfishing_watch yes please , I have 15ft surf rods for spinning reels. The longest casting rods are about 12ft
