Guys, marriage is the best, I married my wife after 6 months of dating and we have been married for 16 years. I have been dead 3 times but my wife and I get stronger and stronger with every challenge. You guys are doing so well, not long now and well you will rock marriage. Sam if you need a chat I only live around 30 mins from you. Happy to help however, but you guys rock

I felt this one with my heart. We had a similar experience this year. My partner came to see me in February and was going to return home in March, and ended up staying until April due to covid. It was the longest we had ever spent together. I remember going with her to the airport on the final day despite the lockdown to say goodbye and I tried to smile for her and cheer her up. "Soon we will be together forever". We are also preparing the visa for her to move with me. I then returned home and we video chatted while she was at the airport. The second the videochat ended, it all went quiet and I felt so empty and I remember looking on the flight scanner as the plane taxied to the runway and the moment it started moving and left the ground, my world fell apart. I just bursted into tears and started sobbing and shouting, "Why did we have to be apart again?!!!"🥺💖. It just does not get easier. :'( At least we had had a bit longer like you guys. I can truly feel your pain. Done it 4 times already and gosh, its tough. My prayers of hope go to all you guys who had canceled trips, or have just not been able to see your partner for nearly a year now or more. Bought a ticket for Christmas despite border closures and regulations, as our usual August trip did not happen due to Covid. Touch wood, hopefully it goes ahead, otherwise at least it gave us hope. Just hoping we will see each other again very soon. 🙏🥺❤️ Long Distance is so tough, but that person you are with is the most important person in the universe and is ALWAYS worth fighting for, every second. 😍💖 No matter covid or anything. I hope I can marry my Fiancée so soon like you guys and be together with her FOREVER!!! Thanks for giving all us LDRs hope, and hope you can meet again very soon. After the tragic goodbye comes the magic reunion! 😍 Cannot wait for the video.

I haven't seen mine in 6 :( I was supposed to see him in May for my birthday and I had to cancel my flight, then he was supposed to come here for Thanksgiving but that's not happening now. And since I'm in school the soonest I can go there now is over my spring break

A month ago, I took my husband to the airport the day after we got back from our honeymoon, and it was the worst feeling ever. I'm so over this whole covid situation. It's bee so hard emotionally. Omg I actually felt it. I met my fiancé 7 months ago. We’re 9+ hours apart from each other. Feels like sh*t some times, but I guess we’ve got used to it now. We submitted our I-129f in March. Our NOA1 is March 5th. We’re 200 days in and there’s still no movement. The average for a UK-USA couple, pre-Covid, was 112 days. There are many, many, many more people like us waiting even longer. The K-1 was supposed to be the ‘quick’ visa, but they’re not treated as a family visa, so they’re not being given any kind of priority.
